Ho un problema al monitor. Quando collego o scollego l'alimentatore al pc il monitor si spegne e si riaccende senza una causa evidente. Ho aggiornato i driver ma non cambia nulla in alcuni periodi non sempre da il problema citato sopra.

I have been through this issue 4 times before and every time I temporary solution is found then it repeats and I am sick of this.
I have been having phantom touches the dead center of my laptop screen, and already have been through HP Customer support. They wiped my computer completely, nothing. They messed with the drivers, and it fixed it.
I want to know what drivers are being tweaked because I am tired of spending hours on HP Support with poor customer service and communication. I want a solution because after this I will never spend another dollar on an HP product.

I have a new Cpectre notebook running factory installed Windows 10. Whenever a pop up or dialog box comes up on the screen it is so small I either cant read it or theI screen is so small the buttons to click a response dont appear.
I would like to make my screen recognize just the pen..is this possible?
Because when I'm drawing the imagine goes up and down..and my hand touches other things and its' really disturbing me.

Its a Pavilion DP and the mouse has become selective in sections it makes the screen big and small or scrolls up and down permanently and i can't get it to work as a mouse moving the arrow on the screen ( this has been an intermittent problem but it seems to be permanent since windows 10 loaded) Cheers

I have a Pavilion g4 and my OS is windows 8. The system shows Video_TDR ERROR(atikmpag.sys) whenever i play a video. My video card is AMD Radeon HD 7600M . It works fine when the driver used is chosen as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, but it automatically updates to the AMD driver. Could you please help me out with this?
My scroll stopped working a few days ago.
I have reinstalled the drivers, rolled back the drivers to the previous version, checked all boxes, unchecked all boxes, and it still doesn't work.
I no longer have HP Recovery Manager, as it must have been deleted when I upgraded to 10.
I have seen others having this problem, with no solution, so I am posting again. This change is slowing my work down.

I think this is an issue with the screen backlight.
The laptop had not been used for a while - it boots fine and logs into windows fine - but anywhere between a minute and 5 minutes after power on, the screen dims dramatically. You can just about see the screen contents if you look closely and it still functions.
If you close the lid and then reopen the backlight comes back on - but will dim again within 5 minutes.
Any thoughts?

i cannot find my amd card in dxdiag..also i cant see graphic properties on right click
Have an issue with Video calling via these notebooks. If using a third party webcam or even builtin Webcam, the image is juttery or looks as though it is missing frames.
This is not an issue with Lync or our network as we use an HP elitedesk with the same hardware and even swapped the hardware that might seem faulty the video is flawless.

Tested with multiple venders webcams including the builtin one
Tested via a wireless and wired link and attached to docking station and out of docking station.
Changed the video in Bios to 512MB and still not change.
All computers built with same image soif this was an OS issue, the Desktops would have displayed this error as well.
HP drivers are from 2014 and unable to upgrade to intel ones as Intel drivers say you should install via HP.
Any assitance would be of great help to me?
The screen on my detachable keeps switching off for some reason, mostly when I use it as a tablet without the keyboard. Once it goes off it won't come back on without pressing and holding the power button for ages to force a restart. I have tried everything to wake it (windows button, re-connection key board, volume buttons) and waking doesn't seem to be the problem, its as if the screen loses connection. If i press to remove the Micro SD card I can even hear the beep to tell me the card has been removed but the screen is totally dead. I have switched off all the auto sleep functions too so that the screen will only go to sleep when I shut the lid with the keyboard connected, or press the button to make it sleep. The detachable is less than 30 days old!

I have just upgraded my laptop from Windows 8.0 to Microsoft Windows 8.1 Professional Edition (build 9600), 64-bit. However when I look in the device manager it says the following error next to the graphics device, "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". I can still continue to use my laptop, however cannot use the monitor and HDMI ports. I have tried the latest and beta drivers from the Intel site and I have also used the driver given on the HP support site for this laptop, but still no joy.
The current graphics driver version I have installed is 10.18.14.4332.
If I use the basic Microsoft driver the device just reboots after a random amount of 2-3 minutes.
Any suggestions? Could it be a driver conflict or hardware incompatibility?
Are there any logs I can provide or run any diagnostic utilities?

I need to replace the hinges from the left side shift key. I think there are 4 that need to go in there, yet I cannot match this stupid model with any company out there that sells these hinges. Does anyone have an answer as to where I might get them, or do I just go out & buy a new keyboard? Then again, it's the model # that I can't find anywhere.
This is probably a silly question, but if I put this computer to sleep or set the display to go off after so any minutes .will I get my Norton Security,Windows or HP updates during that time?

I have had some intermittent display problems so I wanted to check if my driver was up to date. Device manager indicates that for my Intel HD Graphics 5500, the current version 20.19.15.4360 is "Up to Date". When I check on the HP website for my model computer and Win 10 operating system, it indicates I should use a different version, 10.18.15.4220. The strange thing is that according to the Intel website explanation for their numbering system, the first number "20" indicates a Win 10 driver, and a "10" first number a Win8.1 driver. It would appear that HP is recommending a Win 8.1 version for my Win 10 installation. I am uncertain what to believe is the correct driver.
