Hi, I have this 15-F125WM laptop here with no backlight, I've tried three screens all the same. I've tried another mobo but came DOA, so my question is does the backlight draw its power from the mobo. I cant have three bad screens, any help thanks.

black screen, caps lock flashing and beep sound
i have some issue with my hp stream pink netbook. i used it last night to watched movies then shut it down before i sleep. this morning when i turn it on i heard only beep sounds. only once then the caps lock is flashing and the screen is black. pls help me..

hp touchpad crashes when using Firefox
Elitebook 850 G2 runs fine - until I use Firefox (latest build). First, the touchpad stops working, then the pointing stick's left click button stops working.
Any suggestions as to how I can change Firefox's configuration to resolve this issue?
NOTE: I am on a locked-down company machine.

AMD Crimson driver on HP 745 G3
Hi,
I use Windows 10 64bit and have some problems getting the newest AMD drivers to work on my new notebook (745 G3). According to AMD the crimson drivers are useable for the A12 Pro 8800 APU. But the newest Crimson Driver (16.3 and 16.3.1) do not install the gpu driver but only the hdmi audio driver and some chipset stuff. The old 15.12 and the 16.2 however install the graphics driver but I get a strong flickering on the notebook screen wich disapears when I connect an external monitor.
The original catalyst driver from the HP download page works better, but sometimes when scrolling fast in the browser I get a short black screen. The only driver without flickering is the original driver from WIndows 10, but that one doesn't use any gpu acceleration.
Am I missing something or is this a hardware problem?
Right now I got a short black screen and a crash from the amd host application (Crimson 16.2) while doing nothing on the notebook. I'm writing this on another PC...

corner of the screen fading to white?
I have a HP Envy 15 that i use mainly for doing school work and photoshop. Never installed anything too big. But recently ive been playing a really heavy game on it (like 20gb) and I don't know if thats what caused this but now the upper left corner of my screen is fading white. Tried to take a screenshot to show here but the corner doesnt fade in the screenshot.
Does anyone know what went wrong? It's probably not a dead pixel because if i move my cursor over there it doesnt fade. (edit: i took a closer look and it fades a bit actually)
Would be so dissapointed if my screen has gone bad. Ive been using it very lightly for only a year. HP has been marketing the envy series for gaming and it even has nvidia's game driver pre installed. I would be so dissapointed if playing a game is what broke it.

HP Envy screen does not turn on
I have a HP ENVY NOTEBOOK 15-AE076CA which the screen does not turn on. I have been on the phone with HP support and everything was arranged for them to ship me a box to ship out my computer for repair. Since then i have received many emails detailing all the information about the support call and UPS tracking # [Personal Information Removed]. However its been a week and the box have never arrived and the UPS tracking shows one day shipping and electronic waybill was created however never picked up by UPS. I would just call HP and find out what is wrong, however, i am in Cuba for the next month and not able to call 1800 # from here. I have tried email but no email support, can not find any Canadian non 1800 support # or any online chat support that does not require me to have my HP product with me.
Does anyone know how I am able to contact HP that does not require me to call a 1800 #.

Hp blue stream notebook black screen
Using my computer and walked away while it was installing quicken, and returned to a black screen. I've noticed this is a common problem. This notebook is brand new.. should I junk it? Why should I pay for a repair when so many people are having the same problem meaning obviously hp is aware of it and they continue to sell them anyway and they are junk. Maybe I should put my repair money on another brand.

HP Pavilion 23CW Displaysuddenly isn't being recognized
I left for the weekend from the office and when I got back in my HP Pavilion 23CW isn't being recognized. No updates ran over the weekend. It just searches for the display HDMI 1 (which is where it is connected to my HP Laptop) and then to HDMI 2, then to VGI and can't find anything. Although it is clearly plugged in via HDMI.
I have tried a brand new HDMI cable, I have tried a Diamond VGI adapter via USB and it won't recognize that either, I tried a different Display, nothing...I assume it is something on the Laptop and not the actual display, but I can't figure it out for the life of me.

hp spectre x360 cracked screen
I went online and discovered I'm not the only one having issues with the HP Spectre x360 screen cracking. My screen started with a small crack on the bottom left of the screen almost three weeks after I bought the laptop. Two days later, the crack is a long line. I can still use the comptuer, but I can't really use the touch screen.
This seems to be a manufacturing error of some sort because my computer has never dropped or been mistreated.
I would like HP to address my issue, but also take note of this issue because the pattern is clear.
Can someone from HP please reach out to me and let me know how this will be solved. I like the laptop and would like to continue using it.

Windows boot failure after AMD graphics driver install
A friend of mine asked to see what I could do with his malfunctioning notebook. It boots up to the Windows loading screen but doesn't get any further than that. I've done a lot since receiving his notebook, so let me just explain where I'm at now.
The original harddrive showed a rough life of abrupt landings, so I though the problem was there. I did a clean install of Windows 7 64bit on a new HDD and it would boot fine until I started installing updates.
All of HP's provided software installed fine except the AMD graphics drivers (two versions available). Once I installed the AMD drivers, I would restart the computer and it would get stuck at the loading screen. After restoring the computer, I installed all of HP's software except the AMD drivers, and then continued own to Window Updates. Again, all of the updates installed fine until I installed microsoft's supported version of AMD drivers.
After fully updating Windows and installing HP's software, I went to AMD's website and downloaded their most current driver. Same thing. As long as I didn't install any drivers having to do with the AMD GPU, I was fine. I just know that my friend would probably prefer a resolution higher than 1024x786.
Just throwing a wild guess out there, I would say his GPU was toast. That windows is using the integrated graphics as default and the AMD graphics are only utilized once the drivers are installed... which for whatever reason corrupts the startup prcess. Again, just a wild guess.
Because i'm a glutton for punishment, I installed Windows 10 to see if I would get any different results and.... nope
I was hoping someone had any other ideas. Thanks in advance.

Help with Graphics Driver
Need help with my AMD Radeon R5 m330 Driver. I downgraded my Laptop from Windows 10 64 bit to Windows 7 32 bit. Now My Driver isn't working. I downloaded a 32 bit version of the Radeon R5 m330 tried updating it manually but still doesn't work... The HP tech support did a Remote Access on my Laptop but he wasn't able to fix it and recommended to switch back to Windows 10. Is there anything else I can try before deciding to switch back to W10? Help Please!
