NVIDIA 3D IMAGE PREVIEW DOES NOT SHOW ANY PREVIEW
after replacing a motherboard by servicing centre i have faced a problem in my laptop that NVidia graphics is not responding and 3d image preview is not showing any image. so, i tried to contact both HP chat support and call support since from last 4 months to resolved my problem but instead of resolving a problem they ask me to order a new recovery disk. so, i have ordered a new recovery disk and done a factory reset still a problem is not resolved.now whenever i contact HP support team to resolved my problem they ask me to do same troubleshoot steps and same drivers to download. i don't know what to do now. i thought i have done a great great mistake by buying a HP product.

Does my pavilion x2 screen have a problem?
Hello,
I have Pavillion X2 that I bought 2 weeks ago, a great 2-in-1 notebook for the price
But now that I have use it for some times I noticed something weird
I usually use it for browsing or type document, but sometimes the brightness is acting up
It was not really a flicker or anything, but the brightness is like increase or reduce on its own (not like automatic brightness)
Don't know how to explain this, really weird (first time I ever faced this kind of issues)
It didn't brighten up a lot like if I change it from setting, just noticeable and weird
I think the backlight have some trouble
Because I notice backlight bleeding at edges too whenever I boot it up
So anyone can give me an insight?

Connect HP Envy laptop to HP ProDisplay P232
Howdy all. We have an HP Envy laptop which we are trying to connect to an HP ProDisplay P232 monitor. We have the HDMI to Port cable and have installed the P232 drivers on the laptop, but it still doesn't even recognize that a monitor is plugged in to the HDMI jack. Any help? Ideas?

Hp Envy 17 White screen issue
Hi.
I need some help to discover what is my laptop problem. The issu is the screen that goes white.After some time the screen return and goes white again, or in anothers case just stay white forever. I did the test with a external monitor and works fine, I change the screen and the cable but the problem remains. I want to get in BIOs and diagnostic window but I just can't se nothing because the screen is white at all time and when I connect the external monitor by hdmi I only see something when the windows 10 comes on.Any Idea's to resolve this big strange issu.Thanks

hp envy 15-j digitizer not working
I have renewed the digitizer and have not fully snaped it back to the screen as yet.
I turned the machine on and all shows up ok in device manager but nothing is happening when i try to use the touch screen.
I have checked the connector and it is seated as it should be, becuase it shows in device manager.

pavilion g7 display
My stepson has a problem with the monitor on his HP Pavillion g7. When he turned off the computer all was okay. When he turnedn it on again, the screen is out of adjustment. It has 2/3 of the screen on top and then a line. Below you can see the top two or so items below the line. Attached you will find links to pictures so that you can see what I am talking about. How do I fix this? It is running Windows 8.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

lost cursor
Have been losing the cursor repeatedly lately. Have looked at varied answer logs and tried some of the suggestions but none of the Q and A's seem to fit mine. I have the screen set at 125 which is comfortable for me and doesn't spill over screen edges. When I manage to recover the cursor by rotating hands over the cursor bar, it seems to come from the right and the bottom, but not always. And it takes totally forever to retrieve it by rotating the cursor bar. Can't think of any changes I would have made to create this problem, but it's pretty recent. Is there something I can do if it ever disappears and doesn't return at all, and what can I do (if anything) to stop the current problem of having it disappear off the edge? I don't have a touch screen.

Switchable Graphics not working properly.
Hello, I've been having issues regarding switchable graphics. It wont use Radeon 6700m on the game named Blade and Soul. No matter what i do, which option i choose, it will still be using Intel hd 4000.
I know this because A) it wont even find/show the game on Switchable Graphics Application Monitor. B) My Radeon wont have any activity shown on AMD System Monitor.
I cant set Switchable Graphics to be static on BIOS because there is no option there. I dont think i had any problem with the card as it could even run Mortal Kombat X and provide same fps as this game which is like 6 years old and with much lower system req.
OS: Windows 10 x64
GPU: Intel Graphics 4000, AMD Radeon HD 6700M with latest drivers downloaded from HP website.

My Laptop no longer able to have multiple display
My Envy notebook running on Windows 10 was working fine displaying on both my external monitor and screen. But after I pulled out the HDMI cable and on reconnecting it now cannot display on the external monitor. I have right clicked and got to Display settings, it can detect the 2nd monitor but when I select the Duplicate these displays and press Apply and Save, it shows me this message The Display settings could not be saved. Please try a different combination of display settings. My resolution was 1600 X 1200

HP 15-r030wm Notebook PC back light goes off when I plug it in
Recently, my HP 15-r030wm Notebook PC will shut off the back light when I plug it in. I unplug it, and it comes back on. Really irritating. The other problem is the scroll on the touch pad always has to be truned back on after any updates. I read about that one, yet no update seems to fix it. I did some updates from the HP site today, so I will see if that helps that out any. In the past, I have had problems with the back light malfunctioning. Sometimes it goes off when coming out of sleep mode. I used to shut it off and romove the battery. Thenk put it back and start it up. Recently, I found when it does that, I just need to close the lid to power down to sleep and wake it up again and it works. But the back lite going off when I plug it in really bugs me now.

Envy 15-k236nd maximum resolution
Sorry, I have little tech knowledge. My system is equiped with a NVidia GeForce GTX850M Graphics card. I use a seperate screen, res 1920*1080. In the settings > screen option is indicated that the max resolution in use is 1920*1080.
When I read the specs of the graphical card it is much more capable than the present resolution.
Q: Is it possible to increase the present max resolution?

Hp 640 G1 Laptop - Screen Issue
Hello.
we are a large organisation.
we have lots of Hp640 G1 laptops in use.
We keep getting users reporting that the screen goes all pink and blocky.
a reboot usually resolves the issue.
it is just Radom and can happen maybe once a week / once month etc.
Anyone see this issue on this model of laptop,
any resolution fixes would be appreciated.
