lost external(2nd) monitor after BIOS update
Hi.
This is the 2nd time this happened. One time, an online agent was able to fix the problem. I recently did a BIOS update and after the update, my notebook won't detect my 2nd external monitor. I tried updating the graphics card manually but to no avail. Any ideas?

Problem with HD Graphics driver
I purchased a new Spectre x2 in February. The problem that I have is with the display graphics.
My systems stops and I receive the message "HD display driver had stopped" i have to wait for it to correct itself.
Does anyone knnow why this is happening and how I can stop this problem from happening.

Desktop disappear after upgrade to Window 10
After the upgrade to window 10 my notebook and after entering password it appeared a black screen with just the arrow of the mouse on the screen. I just can use the task manager and through it I can use different programm, but it's very difficult. I tried everythink HP suggested, but no change. Can somebody help me?Tks

Need Touchscreen digitizer for my laptop.
I have three long crecks on my laptop glass screen (LCD screen is in good condition), so i decided to change my touchscreen digitizer. My laptop model is HP Pavilion 15t-n100, which also show as HP Pavilion TS 15 notebook PC on HP Support Assistant. Can any one please tell me where can i find the glass digitizer for my laptop?

ENVY TouchSmart 17-j153cl Broken Hinge
The hinge on the left side is broken. It's never been dropped, it basically sits on a desk all day.
When opening the screen, something protruding and not rotating like it should is breaking the case! Searching these forums and just a quick google search reveals this appears to be a common problem! What do I need to do to get this replaced AND prevent it from happening again?

hp envy x360 keeps logging off to a black screen
When I stop working for more than a min or two, the laptop auto logs off to a black screen.
If I don't see it happen and start hitting cntrl+alt+del soon enough, it completely locks and you have to hold down power and restart the laptop.
What I have done:
* Loaded all HP updates
* Loaded all Windows Updates
* Changed the screen saver from "none" to 3d text and set it at 60 mins
* Changed the "battery and plugged in" settings to 30 minutes
* Changed all other power settings either to never sleep or made them at least 60 minutes
This started happening randomly a few weeks back. I thought I fixed it by changing the screen saver to something other than "none". It fixed it for 2-3 weeks.
Now it's doing it again except a lot more frequently. I was locked out of my laptop during a call today. Not good.
Does it have to do with the touchscreen? I use it but not often. It's like the laptop says I give up and just decides it wants to shut me out.

Laptop screen flickering with horitontal lines and white screen
I have been having trouble with my laptop screen for a while but recently it has got worse- it started with horizontal lines flickering across the screen- particularly across the top and bottom (also it seems worse on some websites than others) but recently it has been flickering across the whole of the screen and then the screen goes completely white.
This occasionally stops if the screen is bent back as far as it will go or bent quite forward and it is also better if I hold the screen to put pressure on it on either side about halfway down, also it is better some days- couple of days ago it seemed completely fine but today it's worse again and the screen goes white unless I hold it at the side.
Does anyone know what could be the cause and if it's relatively easily fixable as I really don't want to have to get a new laptop, I read this thread also:

Проблема заключается в том, что монитор в ноутбуке включается далеко не с первой попытки, т. е. после перезагрузки, компьютер полностью запускается, но монитор остаётся просто чёрным и с включённой подсветкой, при подключении стороннего монитора, компьютер работает. Сам экран ноутбука может включится только после не одного десятка перезагрузок ноутбука, но ближайшая последующая перезагрузка приводит к опять той же проблеме - монитор не включается.
The problem is that the monitor is turned on in the laptop is not on the first try, t. E. After a reboot, the computer is fully started, but the monitor is still just black and backlit enabled, by connecting the monitor, the computer is running. Sam laptop screen can only start after more than one dozen laptop reboots, but the closest subsequent restart again leads to the same problem - the monitor is not included.

Cannot resize window size on any browser
I cannot resize any of my windows. Even if I push the two little boxes up in the right hand corner and get toggle arrows, I still can't resize. Every tab takes up the whole screen. I need to have several windows open in different sizes so this is an issue! They are not full screen but almost. Need to be able to resize, it doesn't matter what browser I use.

Mini Display port can support a external GPU
I have a HP Spectre x360 Intel i7 and Intel HD Graphics 5500, is sufficient for games with very low requirements as well as a rendering of casual video, but when we went into games with high requirements as GTA 5 as much gives 30 fps, but as time passes and heated fps drop to 20 at most, is unplayable and let me know if you can connect a desktop graphics card externally, I have seen that can be done with computers that have port Thunderbolt and my question is: you can connect a external GPU via the MIniDIsplayport HP Spectre port that is in the same way, or some other solution. If I have Firefox or Edge open and I also have a word document open or a spreedsheet open.
I can not click on any window under the web browser to bring it on top of the browser.
This only started within the past month or so after a MS 10 update.
Previously I never had this problem.
I have ti minimize the browser to read any application under it. Such as wordpad, spreedsheet program.
I noticed that in my device manager under display adapters that I have two of them listed.
The Intel HD Graphis 5500 and the NVIDIA Geforce GTF 850M which I had upgraded to when I purchased this notebook from HP.
I'v updated both video cards to their latest updates.
If I disable or remove the Intel HD Graphics 5500, which is the base builtin ard then the NVIDIA card works correctly for a short while until the OS turns back on the Intel graphics card.
I also receive a message that the NVIDIA card is not attached to any display!
Both cards when checked say they are both running correctly. No errors when checking their properties.
