I got this new envy 13 laptop a month ago. it had worked quite well for two weeks. Then I could not change the brightness of the laptop. the brightness buttons did not work. I found the Intel(R) Graphics 520 did not work anymore. So I clicked "roll back driver" button and then the brightness buttons worked again. However after several days, they did not work again and now I cannot clicked the "roll back driver" button. Could anyone offer some solutions?

 

(p.s. It is really annoying. I seached online and people have complained about this brightness problems for more than several years. Hp should do something about this before selling the laptops.)

Hi,

 

Recently bought a notebook - preloaded with windows10 Home.  When I play Video files, there is significant stuttering every second on all players -  KM Player, VLC, Windows Media PLayer and Metro video PLayer.

 

There is also stuttering in simple graphic applications every second.

 

I have tried the following, but the sttuttering still exists

 

1) Updated the Intel HD Graphics driver and the Nvidia 940m driver to the latest.

2) Did a full system reset (Without deleting files)

 

Can someone help? - Is there something wrong with my notebook?  Or is it the Windows / Driver problem?

Hello guys. I got a HP envy 15 j048tx.  

I broke my screen 15.6" diagonal HD Brightview LED-backlit  (1366×768). Could you please recommend me any replacement screen since I'm not able to find it out the exactly screen to replace the broken one.

I have a new hp ac032ne

since i start operating my windows i can not find any video driver

it supposed to have AMD Radeon video card

but all installed drivers fail

also AMD radeon installer tells me that no AMD video card is detected

i want to know what is the problem and how can i solve it ?

Hello,

 A week ago, I bought freedos HP P5U05EA 250 G4 laptop. I downloaded all drivers of it from website of HP. I installed all drivers accordint to the following order:

 

 

1) Yonga drivers

2) WLAN

3) DISPLAY DRIVERS ( first intel driver and then AMD/intel driver)

4) sound driver

5) LAN driver...

 

(my OS is win 7 64-bit)

 

While I was installing drivers, I restarted the pc several times. 

When I finished installing drivers, I realized that AMD  and intel graphics cards do not work.

when I looked at the device manager menu, I realized that PCI slots and USB slots seemed not to work, that's why I could not use USB slots and also graphics cards available on this computer.

 

then I recognized that instead of AMD or intel graphics, there was another display adapter named "skylake integrated graphics-1916"

 

I then reinstalled OS and drivers in the same order, but the result was the same.

In my opinion, the mainboard drivers from your site are not appropriate for this comp. or I was making a big mistake 

 

My computer specifications are:

CPU: intel® Core™ i5-6200U

RAM: 4 GB DDR3L-1600 SDRAM

DISPLAY : intel HD graphics + AMD Radeon™ R5 M330

....

Can you please help me for using USB slots and the graphics cards ?

Hi,

I am using HP 250 G3. I recently upgraded to Win10 from Win8.1 and soon after my brightness function keys are not working also I'm not able to change the brightness from the control pannel as well. The display drivers shows Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and it shows the version of the driver is the latest.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this?

My HP Envy 15 Notebook PC also has a breakdown of the display into lines or flickering strange shapes (see attached images).  I already downloaded the new bios and also upgraded all the display drivers with the help of an HP technician. Now they want to reset the PC to the factory settings which would remove all my data and all the driver upgrades.  This seems bizarre to me.  I want them to take back the PC laptop and troubleshoot the Hardware and fix it.  I'm frustrated with customer service and how they are wasting my time.

Hi,
I am currently using a HP 15 - r022TX notebook which was initially installed with Windows 8.1 OS.

I  have upgraded my OS to Windows 10 recently.

 

The problem i have been facing for the past 3 weeks or so is that that my gets stuck randomly/abruptly.
The only workaround that i am doing now is pressing the windows key on the keyboard.

Also the keyboard prints out dots ( ............................ ) continously unless it is interrupted by pressing the windows key.

My initial assumption was that this might be a driver issue.
Hence i tried re - installing my keyboard and mouse drivers ( .http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-Notebook-PC-series/6875200/model/7280192 ) for Windows 10 OS.

So basically i tried reinstalling / repairing "HP Wireless Button Driver and "Synaptics TouchPad Driver", but to no avail.

The issue still exists and the "HP Wireless Button Driver" does not complete the installation process.

The issue is very annoying as it i am not able to use either my keyboard nor mouse.

Hi,

 

I need your expetise here... My laptopn Pavilion 14-N002Ex touch screen is not functioning when upgrade done from Windows 8.1 to windows 10. I checked the f2 component test through startup then touch screen is also not functioning. i already try to navigate the pen and touch in control panel, but seems no success. I also update the software from the HP but seems no success...

HP ENVY 4m, I have upgraded my WIN 8 to WIN 10, for some days it worked Ok but from last 3 days  the REFRESH logo is popuping like the REFRESH botton is stuck(its multimedia keyboard with no Refresh botton), its refreshing every second.

Hi,

I'm trying to connect three displays to my zbook 15 G2 with a max rezolution on all three of them.

I'm using a docking station HP 90W. Two of my displays are HP Compaq LA2405x 24-inch LED Backlit LCD and the other one is a HP EliteDisplay E241i-LED monitor-24''. My cables are DVG, DVI and a DP . On the displays with DVI and DP connectors I get 1920x1200 but not on the third one with DVG connector.

Is there any way to make it work? Maybe an adaptor that might help me?

I am trying to use my Spectre X2 during lectures to adjust my professors' notes. So far I was unable to find any 411 on this. When I try to use the pens I borrowed to test this, I rest my hand on the screen as you would while trying to write. The screen reads my hand and not the pen. Is there a setting to avoid this?

If no - HP, take notes. You might lose a customer or two after we compare our product to the product that's very similar. *cough" Surface Pro *cough*

Hello,

I have an HP Envy 15 Notebook, the screen will illuminate and show the HP Logo on startup but then go dark. The fan remains running, but no display.

Any help greatly appreciated!!

When disconnecting a running HP ZBook 15 G2 from the docking with 2 HP EliteDisplay E231's connected to the docking, the local screen goes to black. When reconnecting it to the docking all screens display normally, but in Device Manager it says that the Intel GPU failed.

 

The Intel driver are the latest from the HP download site. Also tried with the drivers from the Intel site, no improvement. If I test it works for a while, after reboot it fails again.

Hi guys. I having problems with 15-ab063tx display. I found out that there is no sleep option in shut down menu, and I reformatted my laptop and installed the drivers properly. Thinking that my display driver that caused the problem because I can't adjust my screen resolution and brightness (I knew that if the driver installed properly, I can adjust brightness from the FN buttons).

 

As the picture above show no brightness control.

 

I had install both the Intel and Nvidia graphic driver accordingly but the problem still occur.

 

As picture above I can't adjust my screen resolution.

 

I had tried many ways to get the sleep option back, but no result.

After completing recent HP updates, including a BIOS update computer restarted and now can not recognise the external monitor. Have tried a differnt cable and monitor and video card setting only ever display the one monitor.

 

Have already attempted a reinstall of the video driver
