I have a Probook G450 and it's supposed to have the intel/AMD switchable graphics card(s) in it. I don't know how to switch from one to the other. They both show up in device manager as " this device is working correctly". Can anyone tell me how to change between the 2 ? Thanks in advance.
Hi HP Team,
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 - 64bit OS, i am not able to watch the vedio properly(blur issue) on neighter on window media player not VLC, so downloaded the supported graphic drivers(NVIDIA High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver - sp53852 and sp61152) as per my laptop model and product number, and installed but seems no use.
Error was your system is not compatable for these software installation.
I hoped i had downloaded correct versions but no luck in installation.

Can you please help me about my problem on my Pavilion G4. I dont what is wrong with my display. I'm a noob. Please check this out and help me to fix this. Is this a dead pixel? or a driver problem?
so i have a problem with my touchpad. and i know you guys will probably say "check to see if it's disabled", but in this case it's different. when i boot up my laptop, right after the hp logo screen (and before windows even loads up), it says "F1 to continue or F10 for BIOS setup". and everytime, this screen pops up, the touchpad won't work. and if i press F10, the touch pad won't work in BIOS. basically, the touchpad idn't detected by the BIOS. in windows, there is no way to disable an enable the touchpad. there is no enable/disable option in device manager for the touchpad. there hasn't been any spills or breadcrums or...i think it is a hardware failure, but i am not sure. i think it is more of a "power not getting to the touchpad" failure. and btw, is there anyway to forcibly launch the synaptics touchpad program in windows?
and this might seem strange, but the touchpad stopped working after i did this:
1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
2. Select Troubleshooting.
3. Select View all on the top left corner.
4. Click on Hardware and Devices.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
(i was trying to fix involving idevices stopping my usb ports from working)
after that, i told me my computer needed to restart and after i restarted my laptop, the touchpad stopped working.i did the troubleshooting again and it told me i needed to restart my computer again. after restarting, the touchpad was still not working. this is strange as even if the troubleshooter did some modifications to the touhpad's software and driver on windows, the touchpad should still be working in the BIOS, right?
please help me fix this problem (and if possible, without bringing the laptop to the repair place)
computer goes to blue screen on start up and it says atikmpag.sys error , if disable radeon graphics in device manager, the computer will start normally but is very slow and flickering due to no graphics and everytime you enable or install driver for radeon graphics it wants to reboot ,then get blue screen again, have tried drivers from HP,tried drivers from AMD ,nothing seems to work
Hi!
I purchased this laptop in November, 2015. It was working fine until last month. The issue that I am facing is that when the display of laptop turns off (Screen goes black) when I shutdown the machine or the machine sleeps or the LED goes off if I am not using the machine. On turning on the display I see horizontal lines that are mostly greenish and white. After a minute everything becomes fine and machine works smoothly. It only happens when display is turned off. But the duration of those lines is increasing with time. This machine has International warranty so I have to pay the shipping price if I have to claim the warranty. i just wanna make sure that is it the LED panel or the LED cable which is causing this problem.

Where can I find more detailed spec's in re: Camera & Integrated Microphone e.g. Megapixels et al ?
When I open a PDF on the HP Spectre a tool bar appears at the top from which you can close the PDF. After about 5 seconds this disappears and thus no way to close the document without exiting the application. Does anyone know how to fix?
I tried calling HP to ask how to disable this feature, but they want me to pay a fee to get the information, so I'm hoping someone out there can help me. When I type, sometimes I guess the edges of my palms aren't on the unit right and it makes the display float sizes - changing from big to little to big again, and it's extremely annoying. I can't figure out how to make that feature go away. I'm hoping to get a new job that I'll need my computer for, and if so, I need the screen to stay static unless I change it.
Does anyone out there know what I'm talking about and how to make it stop doing what it's doing?
Any help you can give would be most appreciated.

the model of my laptop is HP 15-d030nr
I use a Revolve 810 G1 (C9B02AV) for work. Despite reading bad things about using a HP Executive Pen with this Notebook, I thought I'd give it a try.
I ordered and received an R1 Pen, but it doesn't do anything.
I suspect when my work IT Support re-imaged the notebook, not all drivers have been installed / enabled.
The notebook is locked down so I can't install anything, and cant access device manager.
I can access Task Manager and see what services / processes are running.
I was hoping someone can confirm what should be installed, and what I should see running in task manager?
The more information I have, the better chance I have of my IT Support helping / resolving this quickly (it just won't be a priority otherwise).
Any advice appriciated. Thanks.
The screen to my HP 15 Notebook (15-F211WM) has cracked. Where can I get a cheap replacement screen?
The laptop display always stops working, totally dead , no response even hitting any keys. What I can do is to press and hold the power key to reboot. The screen just shows kind of retangular color pattern shaking right and left horizontally. It seems often happening to my using Chrome browser. Please help!
Thanks
