Has 10 windose , then the screen goes dim . What to do?
I have an HP-Envy 17 laptop. my question concerns two 32G microSD cards. My laptop used to read them both. Now it is reading only the one. When I switch out the suspect microSD into the other adapter it still does not work while if I switch the operable microSD card into the other adapter it still is recognized by my laptop. So, it is the one microSD card, and not the adapters that appears to be the issue. Any suggestions?
BTW: Why does HP forum not have laptops as product choice for discussion?
I noticed the screen changes on its own when I'm on power saving mode.

I upgraded to Win 10. Now when I try to open Adobe CC Illustrator I get this message: "Software drivers of one or more cards are not up to date. To use GPU Performance, update the software drivers to the latest version, and then restart illustrator."
I ran the HP driver finder program on the HP website and I get this: "HP encountered an error while trying to scan your product. Please verify your product is powered on and connected, then try again in a few minutes. Or, view all available drivers for your product below."
I found a driver from the list below that message
Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver 10.18.15.4248 Rev.C 169.2 MB Jan 25, 2016
I tried to install it and got another error message saying "the driver being installed is not validated for this comuter. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer."
I am not a computer genius. All I want is for Illustrator to work. How do I get the driver I need?
I am a comouter technician.

Hi,
My
HP Spectre 13-3010dx Ultrabook touchscreen is broken, it works like a normal PC but I want to replace the screen so I can use the touchscreen like before. How do I find the right replacement?
I feel that if I buy one on the internet, it might be the wrong one.
Please help.
Hi,
I have an HP Envy Touch Screen and I hooked it up to an HP 25vx IPS Monitor via an HTMI Cable. It works fine except that the text is a bit blurry. I have tried to download the driver but I am not certain if I was sucessfull. I have also tried adjusting the resolution to no avail.
Is there anything I can do? I suspect my video card simply doesn't have what it takes to create clear lettering?
Note that on my computer screen the text is clear.
I re-installed Windows 7 Home Premium, but I can't tell which video driver to install.
I tried the AMD driver 8.882.2.0 and
the Intel driver 8.15.10.2476 does not appear to do anything.
I am still left with Standard VGA Graphics adapter.
Is there something I am missing?
i have hp pavilion dv6 notebook running windows 10 build 10.0.10586. suddently my touch pad stopped working.

now on click on additional mouse options in mouse and touchpad settings message comes as "unable to connect to Synaptics pointing device drive". if you have installed other please unistall.
Kindly suggest what to do.
Hi there,
Does anyone know why my Philips 190SW monitor connected to my Pavilion dv6 starts to flicker everytime I connect the LAN cable? It works perfectly fine until I barely touch the LAN port with the cable. From time to time, the monitor "enter in sleep mode" for a few seconds (or at least that's what it shows on the screen) showing a black screen.
I tried another VGA cable, a thicker one, with a better insulation. I updated the drivers from monitor to gpu (altough they said I had the latest). Nothing solved the problem.
After I upgraded to the latest BIOS and upgraded to Windows 10, the Brightness controls no londer work.
Would appreciate any help. Thank you
I have just brought a new laptop.....if I leave it and the computer starts to go into powersave hibernation and I try wake it back up instead of a screens aver or lock screen I get a strange screen which I can not get rid off.......n

So I am running the notebook specified above with Intel HD Graphics 4400 built in.
Windows 10 recently had me update to the 20.19.15.4331 Driver.
This was NOT an update that showed up in the HP Support Assistant NOR was it a driver that showed up on Intel's website given my laptop configuration. Another thing is that I do have a driver update in the HPSA but it's an older driver from Nov. 2015 (10.18.15.4279Ap21).
I did a Google search for the 20.xx driver I have installed and it came up for Iris 6x graphics and Intel NUC devices.
I also did a test playing Modern Warfare 2 on high settings at 1280x720 resolution and it ran fine.
So, does anybody have an explanation for this? It kind of worries me.

I am trying to hook up my new HP Envy to a Dell U2414M flat panel display and can't get it to work. My old Toshiba uses a DVI cable but there is no connector on the HP machine. When I hook up the USB cable, it is not working.
So, how can I get the Dell to hook up to my new HP machine?
