I am considering to buy an external monitor for use with my hp Pavilion 15ab045nd. Will it work properly on the Intel HD graphics 5500/Nvidia GeForce 940M with 2 GB memory? I am not a gamer, I use it for a CAD program and normal office applications.

AMD Radeon R5 M330 DRIVER NOT WORKING !!!!
I got a brand new HP Notebook - 15-ac110nh Model #: P5Q28EA with a graphic card AMD Radeon (TM) R5 M330 version 15.300.1025.1001 (12/4/2015). I tried all the sources to find the suitable driver for this video card (downloading from HP site , AMD site, HP Support Assistant, etc) and I still don*t have one !!!! None is working ! The computer runs only with the integrated video card and AMD card remains disabled in Device Manager .
What should I do ? Please give me a solution ! Thank you in advance !

6570b Windows 10 black screen when boot with external monitor connected
Dear all,
I have a probook with a clean windows 10 install, all the latest drivers installed (video driver from hp site for Intel 4229 Rev.F).
1) If I boot the laptop alone -> everything perfect
2) If AFTER boot I connect to docking with external monitor (VGA cable) -> everything perfect, both screens work
3) If I boot with laptop connected to docking before poweron -> I get into black screens after windows logo. Both screens are black.
This is really frustrating because I mainly use the laptop connected to the docking and at the moment the only solution I have is to disconnect from docking, boot, reconnect...
Anyone knows the solution to this problem?

Maybe a blank screen solution

I have been experiencing the known HP blank screen problem (and I think I have a solution)
Recently my HP Pavilion g series laptop started displaying a blank screen and then the on/off switch light would go off and the laptop would enter sleep mode before restarting in ten seconds - unfortunately this caused many problems, skype calls were dropped, internet connections broken etc. etc. I Googled the problem and found that many clients were complaining about having the same error - suggested causes ranged from fluff around the fan causing the laptop to overheat to BIOS software update required!
After a day or two I remembered that I had recently altered the settings for when the laptop sleeps - in fact I had increased the 'Turn off the display' time and the 'Put the computer to sleep' time so in desperation I clicked on the 'Restore default settings for this plan' link and hey presto, problem was resolved. Why increasing these settings causes a problem I have no clue - that's for your boys to establish, but there are hundreds of people out there with the same problem and you need to let them know.
I initially tried to send you an email to your support team but of course your bloody cretinous system said that I wasn't allowed to communicate with them because my support agreement had expired - another great advertisement for your stupidity - I was actually only trying to help you!
Now go and do your duty before I write to all the forums and tell them that you couldn't be bothered.

ATI Radeon HD7570 Drivers Win7 32bit
Recently I had to do a recovery of Win7 from and ISO as the recovery disks made for the notebook would not work installing using the DVD Drive.
I am unable to locate the drivers for win7 32bit. AMD have a version but they will not install. I cannot find the drivers on the HP Website. When I type the product number into the website I am told there are no drivers.
Can anyone assist with supply or a link to drivers for ATI Radeon HD7570M?

HP Pavilion x360 Stylus Capability
Hi,
I downloaded a few notetaking apps recently, both from the Windows Store and off the internet, to try out writing with a stylus directly onto my touchscreen laptop. To be clear, I do not have Windows 365 downloaded and am not using their software. Also, I am using an Adonit JotPro stylus to handwrite notes in tablet mode on my touchscreen.
When I touch the pen, or even my finger, to the screen, the screen registers that an object is there, but it does not permanently write anything. I have googled this question and clicked on every option within the app to understand the issue, all to no avail. I contacted and have yet to receive word from one of the App's support email, but the same issue has happened in two different apps now.
Altogether, my delimma is that I would like to handwrite in a handwriting app using the touchscreen feature on my Pavilion x360 2-in-1 laptop with an Adonit JotPro stylus and, though the screen registers being touched, nothing is permanently written when I try to write with the stylus or even my finger.
Does anyone have advice on what I may be doing wrong?
Do I need to purchase an HP-brand stylus in order to write on this laptop?
Please let me know if you have had similiar issues and how I might be able to resolve this issue. Thanks!

Spectre x2 12 Screen/Display Flicker
So I've recently purchased the 12 inch HP Spectre x2, and I've been having problems with the display flickering. It looks like the display either just shuts off for half a second or it flashes black. I can't really tell which. Sometimes there is a horizontal black line visible just before it flickers, which varies in thickness as well as placement on the screen. I feel like I have seen vertical lines as well, but I can't be sure.I haven't noticed any patterns in when the flickering will occur.
I thought it was a hardware problem, which is why I exchanged the first Spectre x2 for a replacement. But now it's happening with my exchange, so I'm wondering if it's something else. I've tried doing some research, and all I've come up with is soome people reporting flickering that had to do with Windows 10, and some people reporting some flickering problem solved by updating WLAN drivers. I've found nothing at all having to do with this product specifically. I've tried updating to HP's Intel HD Graphics 515 driver, and even Intel's generic driver (which said in the notes that it fixes flickering displays).
Now, I don't know what to do except return my purchase. That is, unless someone can provide a solution, or at least some insight to when a fix will be available if this is a known problem.

after win10 upgrade on Omen 15-3115dx notebook, unable to control keyboard backlighting

I purchased an Omen laptop four days ago that came equipped with win8.1 Prompted to do so, I upgraded to win10.
I am now unable to control (via HP Omen Control) all keyboard backlighting features. The keyboard combination, fn-F5 to
enable/disable lighting no longer works. I have no control over various keyboard areas. I can only modify the intensity and color of the entire keyboard (and speaker areas). No control over left/right/center/speaker areas specifically.
Tried driver upgrades from the HP site...........no change. What can I do to fix this, WITHOUT going back to 8.1?
I tried installing sp71716.exe and sp70894.exe No change.
I really like the power of this laptop a lot, and hoping I don't need to return it in the remaining 7 days Best Buy allows.

HP 15-D035DX Notebook keyboard driver re-install failure Code 10?
I have been having a intermittent problem with my keyboard not working on my notebook when I turn it on. I usually can get it to work by re-starting the computer. Today it finally stopped completely. I restarted it 6 times and no change. I did a windows 8.1 troubleshooter and it came back with a problem and it could not repair it. It stated my Synaptics PS/2 port touchpad driver was bad and could not restart. It came back with a "code 10" as the reason. I went to the HP site and downloaded it directly as it suggested. Still got the same results. Keyboard is dead, but mouse pointer works fine. I am typing this on a external keyboard via USB port.
Can anyone explain what a "code 10" is and if there's a fix? Or did my keyboard finally go bad and this notebook is toast? I've had this notebook 2-1/2 years and use it every day. I've had other issues with it from day one. Kinda disappointed in HP products, sorry to say.

HP 2013 Ultra Slim Docking Station can't display at 4k on BenQ BL3201PH monitor
I hooked up DP cables on the docking station and the maximum resolution that I could get is 2560x1440. When I tried to connect directly from the laptop to the monitor I was able to get 3840x2160. So I know that the laptop is able to display at 4k.
Does anyone know whether the docking station has a limitation or whether there is some firmware that needs to be updated?

AMD GPU on Zbook 15u not being used with Windows 10/
I recently upgraded to Windows 10, downloaded and updated all drives. No matter what i do i cannot get the AMD GPU do any work. its always at 0% in any rogram i use including Adobe Premiere or DXO Optics.
It was working fine on windows 7.
I am getting no errors and i reset the Catalyst dashboard and confgure all apps to us high power mode.
But nothing seems to trigger the gpu
please help!
Nevermind the fact that i paid all the money for a powerful system only to find out when i first booted up that AMD determins when i may or may not use the gpu. I was under the impression I could switch betweedn the two like my old Viao system. But nevermind that, i just need the gpu to work on windows 10...

External Monitor Connection Options
I just got a brand new Pavillion for work and am trying to connect it to an external document viewer (tall, portrait-oriented monitor). The monitor has VGA, DP, DVI, and USB A & B connections.
My laptop appears to only have USB, USB SS and HMDI ports.
I tried using a USB-A (laptop USB-SS port) to USB-B (monitor) cable between the two and the laptop is not detecting the monitor. Is there some reason this should not work?
What are my other options if USB A/B is not an option? Can i go HDMI laptop to DP monitor? Those cables seem affordable, but random chatter on blogs says you cannot go from laptop HDMI to monitor DP...so i don't want to buy a pointless cable.
How on earth can I connect my monitor to my laptop? Please help!
