HP envy 15t, tablet mode
The laptop stops tablet mode screen rotation and key pad display when it is rotated greater than 180 degree. it works perfect upto 180 degree screen rotation. i tried turning tablet mode on and off, it did not help. please advise.

Driver sp56805.exe = 404 Not Found on HP's website. For DV7-7115nr
Video driver sp56805.exe for the DV7-7115nr returns a 404 Not Found error page on the HP website. The link was on the software page for the Dv7-7115nr, so not an outside resource linking in.
The missing driver is supposed to be at:
http://whp-aus2.cold.extweb.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp56501-57000/sp56805.exe
Posting this so a HP support person can hopefully fix this issue so the driver can be downloaded.

screen blank on hp stream 13.3 windows 10
I just bought a brand new laptop and when I turned it on the screen lit up black and I can't see anything I can't even log in. Does anyone know a fix for this. If I try to shake it a bit no parts sounds broke what can I do.

adaptive brightness problem
The card is not disabled 8670m adaptive brightness.
Remove drivers amd-all is well. Install amd-not good.
Downloaded the driver from the laptop HP, does not work correctly on windows10, I downloaded the driver from the AMD website, the problem with adaptive brightness.
What to do?

Pavilion x360 keyboard not working and stuck in tablet mode
Hi
I bought this for my daughter this Christmas and after registering using the keyboard it suddenly stopped working and I could only use the touch screen keyboard. Then for no reason at all the pc display went in to tablet mode and won't come out of it.
I have tried a total reset and everything I described above happens again. I have downloaded all the drivers etc again and rebooted and the outcome is still the same.
Have wondered if throwing it against a wall would help, but realised that would only help me and not the laptop.
Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you resolve it?

Touch screen
The touch screen on my pavilion 14-b178sa sleekbook stopped working under Windows 8, I upgraded to 10 but it still does not work. I have checked various settings and all suggest it is all okay. I have tried to test the screen using the HP hardware diagnostics. However when entering the diagnostics by pressing F2 on start up. The menu does not offer me a components test, and therefor no Touch screen test. Any clues where to go from there.

The TV does show up and is recognized in the Network section of my laptop, but how do I connect the two and get the computer to show up on the TV??

Trackpad does not work whilst any key is pressed
Just purchased this HP Notebook and one of the main purposes was to play games such as Minecraft, however, when any key on the keyboard is pressed the pointer position is locked so you cannot use both trackpad and keyboard together. (This makes gameplay more or less impossible.)
I have already disabled the "accidental touch" functions (touchpad delay, Smart Touch etc . as recommended for other posts with this problem) but to no avail - see attached screenshot... Holding a key still freezes the pointer position. Please help - this problem is making our new purchase unusable!

Dedicated GPU not being used? Help!
My laptop has an AMD A8-7410 CPU with an Radeon R5 integrated GPU, and also has an R7 M360 2gb dedicated gpu.
The problem is that when i run games only the integrated GPU is being used. That is because of this

So what i'm asking is there a way to use my dedicated GPU for Directx9 applications? I already tried setting the games to high performance in the Cataclysm Control Centre, but still didn't work.

Brightness not working
I have HP Pavilion AB-029TX ,the laptop is good tilll now but now i m facing one problem that when i click on Brightness button i.e f2,f3 nothing happen and brightness remain same as it is and in power option also when i slide up for brightness nothing happen i tried to disable and re-enable intel hd driver but does not work please help me

i just upgraded from windows 7 premium to windows 10 and now my computer alerts me of not having graphics drivers installed. i have searched for them on th hp website but havent found any compatible one.at the moment my computer cant even install the AMD CATALYSTSOFTWARE that i previously had on my windows 7. where do i get my graphic drivers for my windows 10 upgrade?

Win 10 automatically provided two AMD video drivers and AMD Catalyst control centre.

Laptop works withouth problem, but start up takes 2 minutes from this clean install, only office 2013 on it, even without a dedicated anti-virus app besides Microsoft's Defender.
I expelled Catalist control centre from startup: still 2 minutes where i expect 30 seconds.

hp envy 7250ca laptop screen settings keep switching to dual monitor
I have been experiencing the same problem while using multiple versions of windows .. 8, 8.1, now 10
At random intervals my system will completely stop .. screen turns black ... there is a load sound that is played ... then the screen returns to normal ...
Some time it happens once and then is okay for several minutes ... other times it keeps rolling through that cycle over and over.
I have noticed that while it had the Display Settings opened that the computer is cycling between showing the corrent setting of 1 monitor ... and Dual Monitors (even though there is no external monitor connected)
The problem has been persistant for well over a year ... originally when I had windows 8.0, again when I took the update to 8.1 ....
I finally wiped my computer and let it reload from the original restore disks. On the virgin system the problem reoccured.
Before adding any software I took all updates and finally even took the upgrade to windows 10.
The same symptoms have followed me.
My system has the Intel Graphics 4000 and nVidea GeForce GT 630M video hardware install
I have tried to disable one video driver in Device Manager ... then when that did not work I switched and disabled the other. Yet for some reason the computer still kept setting itself up as if it has 2 monitors.
There are other times that when I do actually connect the laptop via HDMI to my television I get the same sounds but the screen does not flash.
Can aomeone shed some light on this?

Swtichable Geaphics not working
Hi,
I have a HP DV6 Core i7, for aorund 4 years now. Recently, I have been facing this problem that when I try to switch my graphic card to high perfomance the screen turns black. Previously, I used to try this sevral times (that is restart when this happens) but now no matter how many times I do it, it won't work.
Can someone help me fix this.

typing f3 key which will enter it to sleep mode (how to prevent this?)
dear all,
I want to caps and uncaps words quickly by typing shift and f3 button, but everytime it goes straight to sleep since that is the function of f3 on my computer. how do i prevent it from going to sleep and enable the shift +f3 so i can caps words ?
