screen resolution help!
My screen resolution constantly changes... i have noticed when i plug in my AC adapter and charge my battery the screen resolution is fine .. i can see all colors properly .. (for instance i was making a website and i put a light grey backlground ... i could see it fine when the ac adapter was plugged in) ... but when i dont have the adapter plugged in the resolution changes... the grey is visible as white :S ...
please help ...

Pavilion g6-2305sq
Hello! I have recently bought a Pavilion g6-2305sq notebook , and I have to say that I am quite pleased with its perfomance. However , I had encountered a problem when I have tried to play new games such as Battlefield 4 or Assasins Creed 4 . I could not get past menu due to an error related to Direct x .
After I did some search online and I found out that the error is most likely because my graphic card driver is outdated.This notebook has a AMD Radeon HD 7670M@2GB and an Intel hd graphics 4000.
I tried to instal mobility drivers from ati but after the install is finished and erros apears which says that "display driver was not installed for specific device" or something like that. Anyway the CCC interface changes but I still cant play any of those games.
Is there anyway I can update my videocard ?

intenet browser opens continuosly when using ati 6770m graphics

i have a hp dv6 6160 se notebook whit 2 ghraphic cards, intel hd3000 and ati radeon 6770m.the problem is when any program or game uses the ati gheaphics it starts to open my defulet internet browser continuosly and it goes to no page, the adress bar is empty.i think theres no virus or driver issue.even i have formated the windows drive and instaled win 7 again but it didnt helped.i have this notebook for 3 years and at first once i had this problem but in solved itself in a few days but this time it dosent going to solve itself.please help

Laptop webcam does not work
I own a hp pavilion g6-2301ax. It comes with a built in HP truevision HD webcam and windows 8 operating system. The webcam worked fine for a few days but after a try for windows 8 update (which was unsuccessful due to some reasons) the webcam stopped working. When i open YOUCAM or SKYPE or any other software which uses a webcam, it shows a black screen. The driver is upto date and the troubleshooting shows no problems with the hardware. What might the problem be?

hp envy m6 hp split start up and split game
Hi,
My Hp has had two Hp symbols on it's startup screen for the past month or so and it didn't seem like a problem.
I downloaded steam yesterday and upon running a game (TF2), It had the same split screen problem (Identical pattern to the startup.)
I have tried restoring my laptop to when I updated to windows 8.1 but that did not fix the problem.
The display is fine for everything else desktop windows apps etc work fine.
The screen is split up into four. Two full screens and then two half screens on the right.
Anyone know to solve this problem?

HDMI on Pavilion G6-2256SR
I'm doing efforts to mount TV to this laptop with HDMI about a year. This time I have Windows 8.1 Professional and a new driver. It writes:"This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software" when trying to install. I had hoped that is a fixed driver. A previous W8 was been erased due to a good news. NOTHING SUCCESS! Chipset's drivers are installed exactly. Nothing helps.
P.S.: I don't saw working HDMI on W8 never!
With Ubuntu 13.10 HDMI had being worked since boot up with installation disc.
But I don't want use Ubuntu. Every feature must be in one OS. Help please.
P.P.S.: this trouble forced me to learn English to ask this question there.

envy m61205 dx amd radeon 7660g driver
I havean Envy m6-1205dx notebook that will just restart on it's own and sometimes get pop-up that AMD Radeon driver has stopped working but has recovered and at other times screen will just have faint red lines and freeze? Does anyone know is going on? I can't seem to find drives for windows 8.1 upgrade...(WISH I HAD NEVER DONE UPGRADE)

After upgrading to latest BIOS (F.15) there is still no Switchable Graphics option from dynamic to fixed.
Games doesn't use the radeon card and remains into Intel one, even though i choose on the catalyst software to use high performance..
Please advise.

Video stream in is sluggish.
I have what I believe to be a top end and powerful dv7-3173 pavilion laptop with i7 processor. When I try to watch netflix or stream videos, after 10 minutes the video gets sluggish and sound distorted. I performed a diagnostic through uefi and all the components passed the test. I performed anti virus tests full detailed scans and nothing showed up - in fact best buy did as well and confirmed no viruses/malwares etc on my laptop. I have downloaded the updated drivers and software on the machine. Therefore, I'm confused why a powerful laptop cannot stream videos whereas my tablet and smartphone can without any problems?

HP 4530s Switchable Graphics HDMI don't connect with TV LG 47"
Dear Friends,
I'm "proud" owner of HP4530s.I've got a big problem with these so called switchable cards - AMD 7470M and Intel HD 3000.I'm trying to connect my "notebook" with the TV via HDMI to watch movies but it does not work...I did try everything...Any ideas?
I did install only official drivers...
Can you give me step by step advise?
PS.My Operating System is Windows 7 Pro 32bit.

Elitebook 2570P external display
We have several 2570P laptops, and I haven't been able to figure out how to use both the laptop screen & projector (from VGA connector) simultaneously, have the same image in both screens. If I try to set the image to both screens, only projector is showing, laptops screen is blank.
Is 2570P really not able to display them simultaneously?? With 2560P, 8560P Elitebooks etc there's no problem with this.

Envy 15 touchscreen not working until reboot
My Envy TS 15 touch screen works fine for a few days and then the touch function stops functioning. Rebooting the machine brings it back fine but I want to avoid that.
I've noticed a few threads where folks have had similiar problems and have updated USB drivers, or rolled back to a Microsoft USB hub driver to correct. All of my drivers are up to date, and all USB drivers are from Microsoft.
Any thoughts?

video driver becomes unstable with windows 8.1
6 months ago I bought a HP Envy m6 notebook. Everything worked fine until I was so naive to upgrade from windows 8 to 8.1. Since i've updated the notebook sometimes crashed when I try to put it in sleep mode (either by pressing the on/off button or closing the cover of the notebook). The screen just goes instant black and power is terminated. I think it has something to do with the AMD driver, because the when i try to reinstall the catalyst control centre the same thing happens when its done with installing. Also, when i try to run certain games it crashes at the point the game switches to full screen. Does somebody know what to do?

Hp Pavilion 17-e049wm Device manager does not see the amd radeon 8650g display adapter.
Windows 7 cant find the display adapter for the amd radeon 8650g. I have tried installing drivers from AMD and they never show up in device manager. It only gives me "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter." Windows update will not update. They say it is current becuase it can't find the radeon 8650g . The AMD installation program never shows the driver file when installing. It installs all kinds of other things but never the driver. As if it can't find the hardware either.
What is going on.

My friend purchased laptop ( HP-2000 NOTEBOOK PC ) at wallmart shop in United States. He has given as a gift for me.
When i open the laptop and i switched on the laptop screen was not show clearly. T he screen appears like the little bit of INK SPREADS IN BOARD And the screen will show the lines like tuning the TV. So can i the get the service within warranty?
