The screen immediately changes from full screen display to 4:3 size with black sidebars whenever the VGA port is accessed. Is there any way to prevent this? It is running Windows 7 64-bit but will be updated to Windows 10 soon.

HP ProBook 450 G2 TouchPad problem
Hello,
I am having some problems with my TouchPad on my notebook.
Firstly, the TouchPad doesn't react at all sometimes. This usually happens when it's locked, then after unlocking it starts to work properly.
Which is worse is that the "left" and "right" buttons often switch unexpectedly, i. e. the "left" button is suddenly working as a "right" button and vice versa.
I bought my notebook three weeks ago so it's basically brand new and I wasn't really expecting to have trouble with it so early.
I would appreciate any kind of help, thank you.

Intel HD 4600 Graphics driver stopped responding - ISSUE NOT SOLVED
HP ENVY 15 Notebook 15t-k200 CTO (Energy Star) Product Number: K2T35AV
I am restarting this as a new string in the hope that an HP Support Agent may see this and address the issue.
At least provide a date when we may anticipate a solution my be made available.
Previous post addressing this issue was flagged as SOLVED when none of the solutions offered fixed the issue.
An updated Intel HD 4600 Graphics Driver is needed.
Intel HD 4600 driver fails, screen goes black and with error message
"Display driver stopped responding and has recovered - Display driver Intel HD Graphics driver for
Windows 8(R) stopped responding and has recovered."
HP Support identified this updated driver for this system but when when attempted to install
sp72810.exe 10.18.15.4279
I received this error message "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer"
Appears this driver may be only for the Intel HD 5500 Graphics as 4600 was not referenced in the install.
Current driver is 10.18.15.4256 7/17/2015.
Not sure if any of this was related to Microsoft Nov upgrade that was apparently pulled.
Changes made to system changed how Update History is listed as list used to show all updates, now only refleccting
one update dated 12/12/15 "Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3119147)"
Any help from HP as to when an updated driver will be available

The display crashes regularly, I'm using two screens. But trying to install the only update the HP Support service shows for this machine only gets this notice "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."
Not a whole lot of help. Particularly when the Intel site says I ust use the HP service.

dvd player doesn't work
Hi,
I got this laptop brand new in December of 2014 (hp15 f039wm), and I never played any DVD's on it until now, and no DVD video discs play. I can put those same discs into laptops with windows 7, and they play fine there, but not on this Windows 8.1 laptop.
Software DVD's will start up, spin, run, and install, but video DVD's? No chance. The only thing that happens with video DVD's is I put it in, it runs for 1/2 a second, skips, and then continues skipping for the next few minutes, getting nowhere. It never stop skipping for the next 2 minutes or so until I take it out again. Only a few times have I been able to right click on the drive to see the properties of the disc, so it's like it's barely even able to recognize it.
So I checked for driver updates in device manager, updated everything, and it's all up to date, but still nothing. I also have the latest updates from windows too, and still nothing.
This computer shipped with cyberlink PowerDVD12. It doesn't work. I have the latest update from this too.
I've also tried VLC Player, with the latest update, and that doesn't work either.
Any ideas?

Problem with touch sensitivity and cursor jumping
My question - problem might be funny, but it is a problem.
I have bought HP 255 G4 new, from the box. First impression was: nice, but first experience with touch was terrible. I have had several laptops, but never the same problem: cursor is flickering and being so inprecise that it is almost impossible to locate some detail using touch.
I have included a photo of the laptop surface. Should I maybe peel off this perforated layer and reach the shiny surface underneath? I have tried to peel it on the rounded corners but it can not go easily, so I did not want to damage it.
Please give me a sugestion. :-)
