I installed assassins creed syndicate it asked updated driver and without it causes screen flickering but i have already installed update from hp site. Also tried updated driver from amd site and it converts 6470m to 7400m but the game does not run as it cannot detect any graphics card and actually the graphics card does not work. So how can i update my driver and play the game smoothly please help.

Well I have owned this product for a long time now, so it is not new but it has worked just fine. Until a couple a months ago in wich I started having display issues, like a random flashing, but Never gave importance as I needed to finish a project, and as you could expect on any given day my lap didnt start up normally, I had to use safe mode, I tried to fix the problem but couldnt, so I made a back up of my documents (not drivers, just docs) and reinstalled windows 7 64 bits, search for drivers in the HP webpage, but when trying to install chipset, I only got blue screen...I installed ATI drivers from their web (as my graphic card is ATI RADEON HD 5650) but wasnt able to control my monitor then I made some discoveries (see attachments). I dont have the "interchangable graphics" option anymore.
I have been able to work on my projects, as Im an architect I so need my graphic card working (common soft for me is sketchup revit vray), I only have the standard VGA graphics driver..the processor has taken over every calculation and proccedure but I cant work properly on adobe after effects nor photoshop.
Can someone help me? installing drivers from intel wont work since they only give me the "blue screen"

dvd failure
Within weeks of purchasing this laptop I tried to play a DVD and it would not work, the internet told me to uninstall the dvd player on the laptop but then i was unable to download it again and I have no DVD player and so no DVDs work, what can I do?
I plan on taking my laptop back to PC World some point this week to get them to have a look

Native Resolution
Hello,
I am using HP Pavilion g6-2330ee with intel 4000 display adapter & AMD Radeon HD 7670M display GPU.
The screen settings only show a native display resolution with maximum resolution of 1366X768.
My question is how to use more resolution more than the native one to have wider and bigger desktop on my laptop screen without being forced to use external display since a maximum resolution will be more useful for my applications which needs more space.

Weird assumed graphical bug after updating to windows 10
I upgraded to Win10 on day 1 and thought that everything was ok. Then, I shut my computer down and realized after the hard drive light shut off, the power lights failed to do the same. I had to do a "force shutdown" to make them turn off. Windows did not think that I did a force shutdown. I am unsure of what is causing this, but I would be really nice to fix it. Sleep mode is also affected by this. Sleep mode is more annoying to get out of as it requires a force shutdown to wake up the computer. Windows recognizes it as such. An interesting thing that I discovered is that if I press both volume up and volume down at the same time, the screen goes black for a second and then turns back on. This is followed by a beep. Since my laptop has a geforce 840m in addition to the integrated graphics, I believe I am switching between the 2. This is relavent because only one of the settings makes the light shut off when sleeping and shutting down. I have updated my integrated and discrete graphics card drivers and it made this bug seem less random. (when I discovered the volume button thing). I have no way of knowing which GPU I am using, but this is really important, as force shutdowns really slow my progress when working. Any solutions accepted.

After updating my graphics (940m) drivers through Invidia to 359.00, I have lost the rotation of wallpaper function through the command center. Is there a way to fix this without resorting back to an outdated graphics driver?

HP ENVY 15 NVIDIA GEFORCE Problem
I am supposed to have NVIDIA GEFORCE graphics on my computer, but it currently has the Intel HD graphics running. So I tried downloading and installing the driver for the graphics, but then after it installed, I got a popup that said that NVIDIA couldn't find any graphics cards or hardware that matches the driver.
I know for a fact that I do have a NVIDIA graphics card in the computer because there is a sticker on it, and nothing inside the computer has been tampered with.

Envy 17 touchsceen
Hi,
Ibought an Envy 17t MoBo with ram and hdd plus other interior parts.
Mainly the entire laptop except the sreen and the outer case.
MoBo says DAY33AMB6C0, and I'm not shure if the following components are compatible with it?
Asking because I would like to get a FHD display and a digitizer for it and I don't want to spend money on some parts that is not compatible with it.
I'm building a DIY tablet now, so size and other physical things does not matter now, only the connector and compatibility
are these parts will work with it?

It is for a touchsmart 17j, so I'm not shure.
I really do not understad these letters and numbers in the HP models
some parts I can find for j-000 or j-100 or j-200, some parts for k-000 or k-100 ect.
Since these parts are pretty cheap I could get a config I want. (Intel I7 4th gen, 16g ram, ssd + hdd, FHD, Touch, 17.3")
Unfortunately there is no dedicated vga card or second HDD upgrade option to this MoBo, but will serve my music production and basic, occasional video editing tasks for a couple of years.

Purple tinge and blurriness with my
My screen has a purple tinge to it, especially visible in black and white images - not ideal for editing my photos.
There is also a sense of blurriness and fuzziness.

Hp Envy x360 screen issue
I just purchased my Hp Envy x360 Thursday night at BestBuy since they had a deal. I have had no issues until today. I went to close my laptop (it was still on) and when I open it back up the whole screen had pixilated lines on it. Literally the whole screen to where I cant even see anything. I turned my computer off and back on which works until I shut my laptop again. This should not be happening which is making me a mad costumer.
