There is no display on startup. Lights come on bu no display. Tried rebooting (with & w/out battery) with the same results. Any help would be appreciated.

last week my friend unfortunately uninstalled my ATI catalyst controller after that my laptop facing a lot of problems then i restore my laptop after that it work properly but when i shutdown it and start again it have the same problem and i have to start again recovery program . Screen Dull after Windows 10 install
Hello forum.
Ever since I've installed the new Windows 10 the screen on the laptop monitor has been dull. I've tried adjusting the settings in the control panel to no avail and when I try changing it with the F3 brightness key it won't let me adjust (Greyed out). It's as if the laptop is in constant energy saving mode. Please help!

Please can you tell me the max resolution for an external monitor. Can I use a 5K Display with a resolution (5120x2880) or an 4K Display with a resoltion (3840 x 2160).

HP g6 switchable graphics not showing up
I have this laptop for almost 1 year now but when I reformatted this yesterday (windows 7 64bit) switchable graphics is not showing up when i right click on the desktop. I have updated my display adapters (intel hd and amd radeon hd 7400m) and still no result. What should i do? I cant play high end games because my laptop uses intel hd as display driver. Is there another way to switch from intel to radeon?

I can't manage to get a signal from my laptop to my TV.
Laptop: HP Elitebook 8440p / Intel i5-520M 2,40Ghz / 4GB RAM / Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD Graphics / Windows 7
TV: Samsung 40" 5000-series, Full HD LED TV
Connection Laptop-TV: DisplayPort (male) to HDMI (male) cable, type 1.1 - 1920x1080
Do I need a different connection cable from my laptop to the TV, or is it a Software issue?

Pavilion 14-R202TX
I bought a HP notebook 14-R202TX in June this year in Indonesia. I have a problem in that the screen shows weird patterns after running for, like a few hours. I have taken the unit to service center for four times. The service center claimed that they have replaced the mainboard two times, in the third and the fourth services. Yet the same problem came again and again. The service center did not want to replace my unit simply because that is their policy: no replacement just repair. There is no guarantee the problem will not come again even if the mainboard is replaced. Does anyone has a clue? Cross my fingers

Graphic card driver installation
I've a clean version of Windows 10, and it will not display videos or sounds using most applications including Windows Media Player, Edge and Cortana (jerky action that repeats itself and unrecognisable sound). The HP recommended graphic card download is SP72369.exe which will not install with the message "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software".
I have 35Gb free hard drive space, 4Gb RAM and 2Ghz processor. The Graphics card reports as a IDT High Definition Audio CODEC
It is using the Microsoft default driver at present. Any help would be appreciated

white screen whenopeming/closing laptop
When I open and close my notebook I get a whitesh and pinkesh screen. Sometimes I have to open and close it a few times to make it stop.

Error installing client online game
Hello everyone, I ask you to help to solve this problem I found and that, although it seems to be very common, No I can solve it.
in short, I can not boot the client an online game in which I have always played smoothly with w7 w8 and xp.
when I open the .exe file you get an error dialog box that says "Metin2.CREATE_NO_APPROPRIaTE_DEVICE"
I already tried using troubleshooting for compatibility, start as administrator and (if he did really) updating video card pc ... but the problem persists.

Display randomly blacking out
Not sure why the touch screen on my laptop periodically blacks out and I can't get it back without holding down the power button, shutting it down, and rebooting it. Tends to happen when I'm not connected to a power source but the battery still has life. What can I do to get my screen back quickly without going through this process? Any ideas why it's happening?

HELP! My GRAPHIC CARD HAS ONLY 1 GB???

I know my pc has two graphic card,
R6 (512MB, i think) and R7(2GB), and if I enable dual graphic they 'become' R8...
I have two problems...
1) When I enter 'dxdiag' the diaplay says its using the R6, I want to know can I switch the display to the R7...
2)I dont really mind the 1st one but if there is a way i will be happy... But here is my real problem. I did enable the dual graphics so i want to know how much GB is allocated, take gta v for an example, I just recently bought this PC and i tested gta v on it, and in the setting gta v only allocated 1GB of RAM from the graphic card, so i need someones help!! PLS!!

Screen Resolution
Screen of my notebook got replaced in warranty. But after replacement I am getting my screen resolution as 1366*768. Previously my screen resolution was 1920*1080. What should I do now, please suggest.

Pavilion dv2500 black screen
I do have Pavilion dv2500 Modle dv2815nr with S/N 2CE8150B09. The screen stayed black all the time, but CD disk seems working fine, the fan it`s running fine too.
I did connect the Laptop to the external monitor and still I receive a black screen.
When I push the power button the normal light comes on the fan and I hear the CD disk too.
I sure appreciate it if there is any help.
