I upgraded my laptop to windows 10 use clean install. Since then i cannot enable/disable the track pad by tapping on the top left of the trackpad, Also when i try to connect my tv ( or any other monitor ) to my laptop i cannot use the fn + f4 key to change between displays. I have tried to look for drivers but with no luck.

hay guys i have just updated my windows to windows 10 and i used to right click on my disktop to find configure switchable graphics to make some games performance better but i can't find it now so if any body can help i will be thankfull my laptop is hp probook 4540s and thanks for your time

I have a DV7-6C10TX with intel 3000 hd and radeon 7690m XT. It appears this video adapter has poor support by hp.
I can get the intel 3000 hd working fine but cannot get the 7690m to work. Even by having the 6700 driver.
I get the following error when I run AMD catalyst mobility(catalyst_mobility_64-bit_util.exe)
AMD Catalys mmobility cannot be downloaded due to incompatible hardware/software on your computer.
The version of your graphics adapter is not supported
Please contact your notebook manuacturer for a graphics driver update.

I currently have an old laptop with a 4500 radeon card. It stream good and my blu-rays look good on the tv
Will the HP Stream be fine for this purpose considering the lower end graphic card?

I have this problem with my laptop HP Pavilion g6-1111so Notebook PC that i cant get nothing out from
HDMI or VGA outputs. The operating system i'm using now is windows 10.
The problem is:
It just doesnt connect them what ever i try, so is there any available drivers for it? It's kinda annoying to watch movies from laptop screen when you have video projector but the HDMI doesnt work.
Any help for me?
I'm having issues connecting a second monitor to my laptop. I have an HP2013 ultraslim Docking Station witha VGA port and two Mini Display ports. First monitor is docked to the VGA and second monitor to one of the Mini Display with and DVI addapter. Laptop does not recognize second monitor. Tried the monitor in another computer, same adapter and as a second monitor and it works fine. Computer is running Window 7 Enterprice, Service Pack 1.
The touchscreen on my TouchSmart 14-b109wm Sleekbook suddenly quit working under Windows 8.1. I thought by upgrading to Windows 10, it may supply some new working drivers, however, no change and it has become a real problem with the function of the computer. My monitor is listed as "generic pnp monitor" in the devices area. Please help before I throw this thing out the window.
When I last logged out of my computer it started an automatic update. The next time when I turned it on, the keyboard lights up and I hear it powering on; but the screen does not come on. I took the battery out , unplugged it and held the power button down for 30 secs. When it stared up again I hit f8 several times...no screen visuals or start up.
The computer fan was previously coming on often soon after turning it on; so then I would just power it down for a while. How do I get it to power up?
Problem upgrading to Windows 10. The video adapter support from HP for this laptop is only up to Vista. Furthermore, the Nvidia adapter is not a standard one, so downloading a driver from Nvidia does not work, i.e. it will not run. After upgrading, you are left with only the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. If you try downloading and running the HP video driver for Vista, it also won't run as it doesn't recognize Windows 10 as a valid operating system. This is particularly annoying since the Vista driver will run under Windows 10.
Here is the workaround:
Download and run the Vista video driver installation software from HP. The installation completes very quickly, and may look like it completes successfully, but it doesn't. Windows 10 will probably tell you the software may not have loaded correctly, but ignore the error and click through as if it worked. The driver installation should have been copied to your computer, in my case to a folder called "C:\swsetup\SP3780\WinVista64", but yours may be different. You can go to that directory and try to run setup again, but it still won't work.
To install the Vista driver, open control panel and start "Device Manager". Scroll down to "Display Adapter", and open it to reveal "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter". Right click on it and select "Update Driver Software...". Select "Browse my computer for driver software", and then browse to the folder where the driver is located, "C:\swsetup\SP3780\WinVista64" in my case. (Note: make sure you select the folder that is compatible with the 32-bit or 64-bit version of the operating system you are using. If you don't know which you are using, do a web search to find out how to tell.) Select next and the driver will install. It will take a minute or two to install, and the screen may flash or go blank during installation. Restart your computer and the Vista video driver will be loaded.
In my case, Windows 10 was able to find a driver for all other devices.
My notebook didn't use my discrete graphic card.
None of the games I have tried have used R7 M260 dedicated memory, they ignore "her" and keep on using my APU ( HD 8610g) that is making notebook temperatures go to "hot hell" (above 100-110 degrees). I have also loaded up AMD Catalyst control center and have changed the games to use high performance settings and have set up custom profiles for each game, but still no change. My hardware honitor also says that crossfire is disabled on both GPUs and there is no way of enableing crossfire in AND catalyst control. Is there anything that I am doing wrong.

My touch screen is working very bad since one week. I don´t remember any particuular change in mi laptop.
When I touch the screen it look like 15 fingers are touching it. Many blinking points appear all over the sreen. And depending where I touch many unwanted things happen, like opening applications I don´t want.
I did the UFI test under the BIOS and touch works perfect.
I unistalled all devices and let Windows reinstall it. But still having the same problem.
Did all updates from Windows Update and HP Support. The latest drivers are installed. But for the HID touch device in the device manager, the date of it driver is from 2006. Pretty old!!!
Please I need your help to solve this.

I am unable to duplicate my screen to an external monitor after the Windows 10 upgrade. My video card is NVIDIA GeForce 850M. The error massage indicates a missing driver. I couldn't be the only one experiencing this problem after an unconsented upgrade to W10. Where can I find the correct drivers? I appreciate any help.
So i've been noticing this display issue. Sometimes when i open my laptop i notice that 1/4 to half of my screen is a bright, transparent green. This green eventaully shrinks and goes away but i still want to know if its a problem if my PC or something else.
