Since I upgraded to Windows 10 my HDMI won't work. I have noticed this when I tried plugging my laptop with HDMI cable to my TV. It seems as if my laptop is not finding the second screen. I have tried changing the settings the the AMD driver software and I cannot seem to find anything with the new driver software from AMD, since Windows 10 forced me to update to the wew AMD software.

If anyone could help me that would be great!

My touch screen quit working some time ago. The calibration and driver update troubleshooting report that I have the most current driver and that it is working properly, Cleaning the screen and rebooting makes no difference. Every now and then it surprises me and will try and function but it never gets very far. What should I consider next? I am obviously not a techie.

Hi there my brightness keys have stopped working suddenly im not sure or familer how as why they have stopped working i have tried sliding it to decrease or increase and it does not work i have also tried the windows mobilitiy Center that hasnt worked either i have also went to the Winmgmt,msc and i have uninstalled the Intel Graphics to see if that would work but im pretty sure it doesnt comply with what it has to do with this i really need this fixed because this hasnt happened once before and i would like to get this reslolved Thanks

I bought this computer a few days ago. The bottom half of the screen started flickering when I turned it on today. I tried uninstalling Intel Graphics and reinstalling them as I found suggested online but it didn't help. What else can I try?

The brightness control function keys for the HP Pavilion 11-n008tu x360 PC are a disaster in Windows 10. They are functioning reverse and intermittent. Microsoft has not taken care for this and HP does not have the drivers. I have a Toshiba as well and everything works fine in Windows 10, The HP Pavilion 11-n008tu x360 PC function keys worked correctly in Win 8.1. What is going on???

Hi. I just have a problem with my keyboard backlight. I just got this laptop about two weeks ago, and when I press the backlight button, only the right half side of the keyboard lights up, while the left side doesn't. Could someone maybe help me with that?

i have previously played this game with this system

(rome 2 total war)

however since taking the the laptop back to HP for a repair (motherboard replacement) the game now freezes on legal screen an crashes, doesnt get past legal screen.

i have an active thread on a total war forum to help me resolve, but so far i have not resolved the issue.

I just Bought HP 15-r245tx. All the hardware is installed but 3D Video Controller Device is not getting installed.

NVidea Drivers Provided on HP website are corrupted or not getting install or not working. Then I downloaded from NVidia official website but they raise compatibility issue while installing when my laptop has same graphics card that were mentioned on NVidia website while downloading drivers. Now Help me to get my 3D Video Controller in working state.

Hi,

I recently purchased a Spectre X360. So far so good but for the external monitor.

I have pugged my external screen to my mini DP port with VGA converter. The screen works fine, but once the laptop wakes up from sleep, the computer forget about that screen and deactivate it. I need to unplug and replug the adaptator to have the screen back. Of course, all windows positions are lot, and that's quite annoying...

I have been working a steup like that a lot with other computers. The behavior should be : external screen is turned on with the loptop when waking up from sleep. And I should find my desktop as I left it.

Is there a special option that I didn't find ? My video drivers are up to date, I tried PCI express setup in advanced power management (no changes).

Please help!

I have an HP Envy laptop model # 17-J043CL. I am running Windows 10 and have been doing so for about a month now with no issues until last nignt.

I rebooted the laptop because an application locked up and when the laptop came back up, I had no display. I get nothing but a black screen. I connected it to my TV using an HDMI cable and I do get the display on the TV. I was also able to determine that the touch screen is still working. I have rebooted several times since then but still get a black screen on the laptop display.

How can I fix this issue?

Can't Get Portable USB 3.0 Monitor to Work Envy 15

Ok, I've been trying to connect an AOC portable USB 3.0 monitor to my wifes Envy 15t and I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling drivers, rebooting in between processes and I just can't get the portable monitor to work. If I open the display settings in control panel, it's not seeing the portable monitor that's plugged in. If I go to device manager to check the driver, it says the driver for this monitor is working correctly.

I have an older HP DV6 and when I plug the monitor in and it comes right up.

Previous to this, I've tried USB 3.0 to VGA adapters because there's only 1 HDMI and needed to connect to 2 Dell monitors and have experienced issues where the USB 3.0 adapter, when I connect the vga monitor would say "adapter not running in USB 3.0 mode" and would display in a low resolution making everything larger than should be. It did that with 2 different adapters. But, if I unplug the adapter and plug it back in, sometimes it may take 3 or so times doing that, it would connect properly and display the correct high resolution. Not sure if this would be related to the issue with the portable monitor.

To me, it seems as though the USB 3.0 ports aren't running consistantly on 3.0 mode, if that's possible or detecting when something 3.0 is connected.

I'm pulling my hair out here, this is just weird.

The Webcam is recognized, but the device manager wants further installation. Does this mean that the driver is not WHQL certified? Driver is 10.0.10240.16304 dated 6/21/2006. Is there a newer driver for windows 10 or should I just buy a new Webcam? I have similar issues with the fingerprint scanner under AuthenTec.
