Hi there! 

After updaiting my win 8 to win 8.1 I got trouble with my Radeon (TM)  HD 7670M.

Actually my win put primary Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 , when I try to disable it and set up my Radeon (TM)  HD 7670M. pc set default microsoft video card.

when I try Disable Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 and stood only with Radeon (TM)  HD 7670M after restarting pc makes YELLOW since on my Radeon (TM)  HD 7670M and it set up a default microsoft video card.

Already try to instal latest version of CCC ( catalyst control center ) - not work

Try to find a solution in BIOS - not work

Try to update my DirectX ( updated it to 11 ) - still not work

What else I need to do ? ( actually already disappointed from HP product )

hp pavilion 15 n004tx with win8.1 pro (geniune)(windows are upto date)

i am having problem in getting swichable graphics.

 when i tried to install intel hd graphics for my pc, the system doesn't start up. i need to restore it to recover it.

amd radeon hd 8600M drivers are not listed on hp's site.

 

in the device manager both the graphics adapters are listed ok and i can cofigure intel hd graphics but amd's  card is not working in any of the games.

also amd's drivers are not listed in installed programs list.

My Envy 17t-j000 was working file yesterday and shut down normally but today when I tried to restart I got no display or startup sounds. 

 

I am running Win 8 - 64

4th gen Intel i7 4700MQ

16GB DDR3

Intel HD Graphics 4600

 

This machine was purchased on 7/15/13

Hello, I have a HP Pavilion g4-2120TU with "HP Webcam-50" webcam and I've installed a Windows 8 Enterprise edition. And the problem is that the webcam is showing everything in black & white. I was using windows' default Camera app, trying on Skype and have tried chaning the program also but it didnt work. And have uninstalled the "HP Webcam-50" device from Windows' Device Manager and let it reinstall agin, tried to update the driver but windows says I already have the best driver installed but that didnt work also.

Any help with it will be appriciated. :smileyindifferent:

The display on my HP Pavilion dv7-4157clnotebook goes dark periodically. I have to shutdown via the power button, then reboot after 20 or so seconds. Everything then works fine for 5days to a week. I have scanned for viruses and malware, and it comes up clean. Is there a diagnostic from HP? Any help is appreciated. I am running Win 7.

У меня ноутбук pavilion g6-2393er и в нем 2 идеокарты radeon 7670m intel и hd 4000. Дело в том что постоянно работает только интел, в каталисте ставлю настройки при подсоединненном блоке питания итд, перепробовал все вплотьдо установки драйверов но игры жутко глючат даже на минимальных настройках. Есть ли способ фиксированного переключения видеокарт на этой модели ноутбука или как вообше зайдействовать радеон?

I have a DV6 3240ca, purchased May 2011, warranty now expired.  The unit was heating up really fast, but could hear fan running.  At times the unit would just shut down on me.  Now I can turn unit on, lights on side of machine near dvd light up, power light on, and wireless light on, no other lights on.  Screen completely black, does not light up at all.     Took it to a shop, they said it can't be fixed.  I want to know what the problem is and if it can be fixed.  Tried pushing the F10 & F11 keys repeatly, still nothing.   I can't believe this unit is only 2.5 years old and has died.  I need my laptop desperately and require a solution, but cannot afford a new unit.    Please help !!!!!!!!!

Hi,
I have a hp 650 notebook pc(laptop) and it dedicated graphics memory is 32mb and my operating system is win8 and I've tried upgrading but it still remains the same.So I want to know......what if I increase the RAM of my system or change the windows to 8.1 would I have a shot at getting the dedicated graphics memory to at least 64mb cos am presently running on 4GB RAM

I have Brought  HP Pavilion 15-E012TX Laptop  with Nvidia 2 Gb Dedicated Graphic Card.

i used to play Battlfiled, Test Drive Unlimited basically games that require High Graphics Performance 

 

Now After 1 month 

none of My Game Working With Nvidia Graphics. 

if i start d same Game with Intel Graphics it works.

but not working with High Performace Graphics.

 

Need Help !! 

 

 

P.S : I think this Problem Started After My Windows Update (8.1)

it is almost 3 years i cant update my display driver

why hp support is too slow . i posted a porplem it have 50 views and no body answer. then my hp envy 15 1030 ef with ati mobility 4830 when i update driver blue screen of death a pears it is almost 3 years trying to update my display driver what is wrong i need to update to 13.9 catalyst driver plz help

I've been having this issue when I play videos on "www.Vimeo.com" and some other sites. Youtube and most other sites work fine.

The buffering speed is fine and the sound works perfectly on the videos, but all the videos are half pixalated in most part on these websites. I've tried to disable and enable hardware acceleration for Flash but it is still the same.

I have never updated my Drivers for my display adapters. Do I need to do that? Because every other program I use (3D Rhino, Maya, Autocad, Photoshop, Sketchup, etc) work like a charm. I'm attaching pictures for reference.

Hello!

 

First of all I would like to start of by saying thank you Hp for an amazing product, I bought my Hp Envy m6 laptop in May and I have loved it ever since. I bought it as a gaming machine, and it did not disappoint me...until I decided to update to Windows 8.1.

 

I downloaded it from the app store last week to see what new features they added (was rather disappointed with how long it took especially for the lack of great features they added, however that is not your fault), after a day when I bought a new game from Steam (Arma Two) and I went to the Catalyst control center to set the performace to high I realized it had stopped working the message I got was:

 

"Catalyst Control Center cannot be started.

There are currently no settings that can be configured using Catalyst Control Center"

 

This means a lot go my games are running rather bad at the moment as they are using a mixture of my intergrated Intel 4000 "graphics card" and my AMD Radaen HD 2GB Graphics card. Instead of just my AMD graphics card (the good one).

 

I tried looking for solutions to this problem e.g. A new download for Catalyst Control Center or an easy way to downgrade to windows 8 from windows 8.1 however I have been unsuccessful. The only method that seems possibly is to downgrade however that would involve uninstalling all my programs (Over 50 games from steam) and all my other programs. 

 

So the reason for this message is that I am looking for a solution to this problem, either an easy way to downgrade to windows 8 OR a way to get my Catalyst Control Center to work again  so I can change what graphics card is used when.

Ok i just bought this computer yeserday. it is an HP 2000 notebook pc and it came with windows 8. I ty playing games and it dont want to load them. Also i trie watching youtube videos and it dont want to play them. it just shows a black screen where the video should be playing. what do i do to fix this?

I have a new laptop: HP ENVY dv6-7215TX, the problem is when I close the laptop while its on, it doesnt sleep, then when I open it it restarts, the hibernate also isn't working. The laptop has windows 8.1 Enterprise .

The laptop is Hp Pavilion TouchSmart 15 Notebook PC

Specs: 1TB hard drive
8192MB DDR3 SDRAM
AMD Quad Core A8-5545M Accelerated Processor
Windows 8

Main purpose is to be able at least play some 3D games without much lag and delay. I have an even way cheaper laptop that was able to play the games I usually play, but somehow this one dont run as smoothly. So is it possible to do improvement or change graphics caard for the the ability to run games in smoother performance?
