i have looked for about a year for driver for windows 8.1 and couldn't find, now i am looking for windows 10 one.
i am almost desperate for finging such driver.

I have an HP laptop with a screen that won't power on... not really sure what the model is... but the issue started when I installed the most recent hp update package... The updates ran smoothly and when they were completed, i powered down the unit. The next time i attempted to turn the lap top on... the screen would not power up. Everything else seems to be running... that is, the computer is running and the fan is blowing etc. but the screen will not power up no matter what i do...
My Pavilion x360 13-a051nr worked just fine with 8.1 and my Actiontec ScreenBeam Mini2. I upgraded to Windows 10 and I cannot get it to work. It does recognize the device but it will not connect. I can conncet using their app to change settings but because I have an AMD graphics chip I can't use the Intel upgrade software that Actiontec offers. I can't seem to find any help from Actiontec or AMD.
Hi, my problems are pretty annoying and I can't find a working fix for them. Everything worked fine before I reinstalled the laptop. Using the same disc I was reinstalling laptop before I made a clean Windows 7 Installation. I downloaded drivers from official HP website, there were 2 available. One of them worked, - but! Soon It started freezing and crashing with typical atikmpag.sys bluescreen issue. That wasn't the problem itself, the issue was that when I booted up laptop again CatalystControlCenter lacked any graphic options, more than that 7450M was gone from list of devices. Leaving me with 6???G model (I can't remember the model, but it's a popular combination) that seems completely useless for me, nothing worked on it and I had to uninstall drivers, reboot, install drivers again and then reboot again. Time wasting and annoying. Especially when it was happening twice a day. That was week ago. I decided to reinstall again because I had C: Partition in the end of HDD and I lacked space. In order to gain more space I decided to install windows again, this time changing partitions order and size completely. I also wanted to install Linux in case Windows installation would put me in the mess with drivers again. And that was a good decision. Now there's only 1 driver at HP's site that doesn't install drivers for my laptop. At the startup aero is not working (like in case with 7450m not being installed) and i get a popup message that no AMD devices are installed for this driver, or something like that. I have only the 6???G installed. Crashes happen very offten. Especially on Chrome which is my default browser. To add to the confusion when I uninstalled 6???G and rebooted the 7450m appears in the menu but neither aero or CCC is working properly. Neither do games. Crashes still occur. I can't even get it to work now. I am limited to using Linux and thus I cannot access my own game project. Even if I wanted to try fixing crashes with atikmpag.sys I would need ATI/AMD drivers installed to extract the file but those are not appearing. During writing this post laptop crashed twice already. Once printing me Bios application issue (501 if I remember correctly) which is something new to add to this mess ... Before you recommend updating drivers or BIOS please consider I tried all possibilities and BIOS is up-to-date and HP website is no longer letting me download the 2nd driver version which was working for me before. (unstable, but did) I completely don't understand what's happening and why installation from half a year ago was fine and there were no issues while installations now force me to go through all of this mess.
I turn on my 2-in-1...the computer starts up bur just a black screen.
When I use the HDMI cable and connect to a monitor everything seems to work fine....except the loptop screen. The touch part of the screen also works, there is just no display on the laptop monitor???

Issue Number 1:
My drivers are upto date downloaded directly from this product's page on HP website, still HP support assistant is showing drivers are out of date namely : Graphics (both), IMEI and Ethernet.
I tried updating driver via support assistant multiple times but it always fails. In the end I downloaded and installed the Drivers from HP support page for this unit, still I am getting alerts to update drivers.

ISSUE Number 2:
While playing videos online on youtube [HTML5 not flash] the video gets green for a second and it happens almost every 10-20 minutes. Disabled hardware acceleration, still facing the problem. Also, I am not able to play games as good as it should on Nvidia geforce 940. (on performance mode, with power adapter)
I think I did a mistake buying HP switchable laptop and should've gone with Lenovo Z51 instead. This is my second HP laptop after Envy 6 1002TX (hinge problem) and still facing a lot of problems.
Heat is minimal but performance is very poor.

ISSUE Number 3:
I most of the time keep my laptop on sleep mode, when not in use for 3-4 hours, but when I open it again, most of time I face these problems:
i. Sometimes after entering password, I press enter but nothing happens and I have no choice but to restart PC losing all my work.
ii. Sometimes the buttons becomes non-responsive I can't click anything from the password box to buttons like Wifi and Ease Of Access.
Even if I get on the system it takes about 1 minutes to work properly and in that 1 minutes it works slower than a snail. I have never seen such laptop, not even HP G4 or G6.

ISSUE Number 4:
The left side USB 3.0 is quite funny, one of my Toshiba 3.0 External HDD doesn't works on it, when I connect it, there's a connection/disconnection loop, while all other device works properly. The same HDD works fine on the other USB 3.0 port on right side.
I tried everything like with power cord attached, changing power scheme to high performance, changing USB suspension settings but to no avail.

ISSUE Number 5:
This one is worst of all, while playing games (on all games) sometimes the game character/object (car for instance) starts moving automatically either left or right without me pressing any key and when I tap on the right/left turn key (A or D) it stops moving automatically, the problem is not there while using any external keyboard.
ISSUE Number 6:
Tried contacting HP through chat support multiple times, they never reply. The dialog stops on "Connected. A Hp representative will be in touch...." and even after waiting for hours, no reply. Is this your service?
This laptop is not even a month old (bought on 27th Aug). I was buying Lenovo but due to budget problem I had to go with HP again and I am getting this kind of support.
Note:
1. Don't tell me to reset/refresh PC. Tried, it doesn't works.
2.Don't tell me to fall back to W8.1. If the drivers are not stable with W10 why did HP uploaded it and Why would a 2015 laptop with 5th gen processor and couldn't work with latest OS.
I have seen how lousy HP is to update drivers for the system. My previous laptop Envy 6 didn't even get W8.1
I was going to update my laptop and it needs to restart. I got bored because shutting down's taking so long and I did a hard shut down. After that, I turned it on and keeps on saying "Press the Esc Key for Start Menu", after that it will show a blank screen and shows again the Press the Esc Key phrase. I tried booting up from a USB suspecting that my OS got corrupted but when I'm on the "Press any key to boot up from the usb", I pressed all the keys but nothing happened. I tried to run the Startup Repair but it only shows the Press the esc key phrase. I went into the BIOS and load setup defaults but nothing happened. I tried to go into the safe mode but nothing happened. It just always say the Press the esc key etc. I don't know what to do. Please help me.

I 'm facing with some errors such as YOU PC RAN INTO A PROBLEM.and the bottom of the error message there kernel data inpage error and sometimes error is same but there is written on the bottom of the message critical process died..Rhese message usuallly appears while i m transfering my data from usb to pc.and sometimes while playing game the game pauses suddenly and pc shows the error and restarts ..these error messages also occur suddenly the pc gets hang and yhrn displays the error message

It's been like this for almost a month. I updated my graphic's card drivers and the touchscreen stopped working. I've looked all over the internet for a fix. Sadly, I was never able to find one so I come here as a last resort to find an answer.
The latptop's model is the HP Pavilion 14-f004la or D8B98LA#ABM. The processor is AMD A8-5545M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics, and the graphics card is AMD Radeon HD 8510G. Currently the operating system is Windows 8.1. I was considering updating to windows 10 but decided not to in case the touchscreen never worked again.
I need a fix to this, please, it's driving me nuts and it really saddens me to see my laptop like this. I've never dropped it, nor damaged it. Water or any liquid has never fallen on it.
Please, do not tell me to restore to a previous point, I've got 137gb of files and data I cannot loose, and that's not a fix. Sure, it may work, but what's the point of doing that? you loose everything you've done, and the internet connection I have in my home isn't fast enough to upload everything to a server.

but not starting system it is stuck in a loop
showing window 10 logo then buffering then welcome then restarting (this is the loop stuck in)
not going further.

Earlier my driver version was 13.1 bt when i updated it to 15.7 my game(fifa16) dosent start. Plz help

I am on my 4th 17-n065na laptop in two weeks bought from a national chain (two with cosmectic damage 'POOR FACTORY QUALITY CONTROL' & two with screens issues). I am very happy with the laptop except for the screen/monitor which appears to be flashing a white horizontal band third of the way up from the bottom on the HP start, plus there is uneven white back light edging on the screen. Has anyone experience these problems? for a high end cost laptop it is difficult to comprehend whereas other laptops I have seen have a solid uniform slate grey screen on start up and no white uneven light showing (noticable even when you watch films!).
Please advise.

I know this a peer-to -peer forum but can any of the senior contributers like Paul_Tikkanen , Huffer
, erico know of a way to provide a feedback or inform the site maintainer to rectify the mistake and upload the required Nvidia graphics driver. Please do the needful as contacting the chat support guys was a terrible waste of time as usual.
How do I turn off the pinch zoom feature? Also, I've read that it turns back on once you reboot. How do I also keep this from happening?

I have installed windows 7 on my dv6330 (GH878ea) by fitting a new hard drive and doing a clean install. The previous OS was windows vista which is now on the removed hard disk.
Apart from some video problems which were solved by updating the driver from the nvidia site, the webcam does not work. The original software was obviously on the disk I have removed and the download section of the HP support site does not recognise windows 7 as it was never supported by HP. There is a webcam update for vista but that is software and firmware so I am reluctant to install that as it might upset the laptop which is working well with windows 7 apart from the webcam issue.
The webcam does not appear in device manager.
Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem?
