DV7T 6C00 Windows 10 AMD driver took 2 mins to show login screen
Hi,
My laptop DV7T 6C00, i7, 12 GB RAM, 250 GB SSD drive
In Windows 8.1 Pro, from the time press power on, it took around 10 secs to login screen - 1920x1080 mode.
(Power on, 3 second shows <ESC> option, then show 'window logo', then in 10 seconds later shows login screen).
After upgraded to Windows 10 Pro, and with latest driver version as of Sept-04-2015:
- Video AMD Radeon HD 6700M, 8/3/2015, 15.200.1062.1004
- Intel HD Graphics 3000, 5/27/2015, 9.17.10.4229
I took closely 120 seconds to login screen. 1920x1080 mode.
(Power on, 3 second show <ESC> option, then show 'windows logo', then 120 seconds later shows login screen)

1- If I go to Hardward Manager, and disable either Video AMD Radeon HD 6700M or Intel HD Graphics 3000, then reboot, it took around 10 seconds to show login screen. BUT screen solution is 1024 x 768 and can't be changed to 1920x1080 mode. I think some how it went to Microsoft native standard driver, Even after re-updated driver to latest, still have same problem.
1a- Re-enable both AMD Radeon HD 6700M and Intel Graphics 3000, then took around 120 seconds to show login screen and fine to change to 1920x1080 mode.
2- Same issue occurs. with the latest video drivers, I changed the solution down to 1024x768, it still takes around 120 seconds from Windows logo to login screen
3- In Windows 10, when resuming from Hibernate mode, it took around 10 seconds to show login screen -1920x1080 mode.
Anyone seeing this issue, and Any help?

Radeon HD 7690M Graphics Card No longer Appears in Devices
I recently started having some problems with MS Office applications crashing at startup. Futher investigation led to numerous hits dealing with graphics card issues. I also had problems with Adobe Lightroom CC. Lightroom aslo complained about the graphics card.
I tried installing the latest Catalyst software from AMD but the display switched to a lower resolutyon (800X600) and I could nto get the softwar to respond. I then disabled the card and restarted. The resolution came back to normal because it was now using the Intel Graphics. I let the system find the Radeon device and install it. However, I ended up back with a lower resolution screen.
I then found a suggestion to install the latest Intel driver followed by a back level version of Catalyst. This seemed to work after a reboot. Lightroom was happy and sow was MS Office. However, after another reboot later, the problems came back. Now when I look at the Graphics Devices, the only one that shows up is the Intel graphics device. The AMD Radeon device does not show up at all.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

No HDMI video for Envy 15t-j000 Quad Edition
Every time I try to hook up my PC to a monitor using the HDMI cable slot I can't get it to work. Has happened to numerous monitors.
Get an error saying driver or hardware issue....has anyone had a similar problem and do I need a driver that didn't come with the PC? Please Help

Red Screen of Death
For some reason, my computer intermittently tints the pixels red and inverts most of the other colors. I have always kept my computer in prisinte condition, and I have been told that this is a common problem due to poor manufacturing in which the LCD connector cables are installed very loosely. I am wondering if this is the problem I am facing and how can I fix it. This here is an image of the described problem.

Synpatics Touch pad on HP Laptop
I have a new HP Pavilioin laptop loaded with Windows 10. My Porduct Number is M1Y29UA#ABA. I am having problem with the sensitivity settings. I can go to Control Panel and ajust the setting and that works for my current session; however, whenever I shut it down and start back up the setting are back tothe original. I have hit the "Apply" and "OK" butons each time, but it does not retain my selections.

My computer won't turn on, I have a back screen
it won't turn on, it seems to have a black screen. I don't hear anything coming on when I press it and nothing comes on the screen I need help. What's worse I have no warranty on it because it was a birthday gift form my mom form 2001. I called up hp support and because I don't have a debit or credit card they can't help me :-(

Flickering line at top of screen
I have had this problem before, but it stopped, but then it came back...
So at the very top of my screen there is this line that is constantly flickering.
I have checked my refresh rate, have the latest drivers, but its still flickering, this has only been happening since I upgraded to windows 8.1... I have on the internet a liitle, but nothing I try works. The flickering is only ever; Different shades of Blue, Black(and grey), and White.
It doesn't bug me too much, but it would be nice to have gone.

HP pavilion notebook n-018TU screen went blank
Hi, I recently updated my laptop to Windows 10 from 8.1. And now the screen went blank while I was using the system and it wont power up even when the system is running. I have tried:
Removed battery and replaced
Replaced RAM in the memory modules.
Kept the system on for more than an hour
But the screen is not powering up. Is this because of windows 10 ? If yes can I restore to 8.1 somehow?

The screen display size on my HP laptop keeps changing size as I type
I have a refurbished HP laptop model 15-F039WM. The display size on the screen constantly increases and decreases in size and sometimes moves up and down as I type. Sometimes when typing emails the text will freeze and I cannot type for a while. Does anybody know what causes this and what the solution may be and is this type of problem specific to HP?

Adobe photoshop cs6 liquify problem

I have HP probook 450 G1 ( with ati AMD Radeon HD 8750M ). my problem is that, i have installed adobe photoshop cs6 on my laptop. when i start "liquify" filter in photoshop cs6, the image does not see and shows black colour on the screen. I reinstalled adove photoshop cs6, but it didnt fixed the problem. then, i uninstalled my graphic driver and tried runing photoshop cs6, then the liquify filter got work fine... I am very dissapointed.

temporary black screen on startup

Since Windows 10 installation when I start up my HP Pavilian dv6 the following occurs:
HP Battery alert, Storage capacity very low (Pre existing issue related to a dud battery I presume)
Windows icon (circling circles)
70 seconds of black screen
Caves on the beach start screen
Can you help me eradicate the blackscreen please? Apart from the blackscreen at startup evrything else works well.
I tried turning off fast startup but it didn't help.

ATI Radeon HD 5000 Series stopped working after upgrade to Windows 10
Dear friend,
I've got a notebook Pavilion DV6-3152SL with hardware AMD Phenom(tm) II N620 Dual-Core 64 bit, bios F29, product number XD575EA#ABZ.
After upgrading from Windows 7 HP to Windows 10, I've got a big problem with the AMD graphic drivers, which are both now version 15.200.1062.1004. ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series seems to work fine, while AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series stopped working of an error code 43 and I'm unable to fix it. I've already tried these chances, but no one of them has succeded to solve the problem of my AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series:
- Updating the driver from the AMD website both installing it manually and utilizing AMD Catalyst Istall Manager;
- Withdrawing the HD 5000 to let Windows Update installing a new one;
- Updating through the software HP Support Assistant.
... But I can't fix it: driver update for AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series is impossible. And, in any case the configuration goes lost at reboot and my notebook goes on saying "No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate".
How can I fix this? Please, I need your help also because this problem hardly overheats my notebook.

Yesterday I downloaded HP Graphics Driver package sp54179 for my Compaq 6370b laptop (Windows 7 Pro x64 with SP1). After installing that HP package, Microsoft Security Essentials anti-virus detected and auto-Deleted this SEVERE-rated Trojan:Win32/Peals.F!plock
Category: Trojan
Description: This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attacker.
Recommended action: Remove this software immediately.

HP DM4 Whitescreen after disassembling and reassembling to replace display back cover
I had to replace the back cover of my DM4. When I reassembled it, which was very difficult getting the display wires appropriately placed in the hinges and hinge covers after several tries, the display shows white and you cannot read the screen. The first time I tried it the wires must have been crimped in the hinges and I smelled something when I tried to boot it up. I immediately removed the battery. The second time I reassemble it, If you move the display towards you like you are closing the cover, you can barely see that the system was having difficulty loading. I took it apart again. The third time I reassembled it, windows had loaded and you're at the log-in screen, which I was able to log in, but barely see the display, which was still appearing white.
I have taken the laptop apart and carefully put it back together several times to no avail. I'm tempted to buy the display cables and try again, but don't know if I'm just wasting more money trying to repair this laptop and should just buy another new one. It was working fine before other than having the back cover broken.
Do you know whether it's worth trying one more time to replace one more part or give up? Thanks

acer laptop screen is bkack but I see the cursor. It then wants to shut down .
I try to turn on my laptop and the sceen stays black but I can see the cursor. If I tap the on switch again it shuts down.

GoPro Video Export Failure
When using GoPro Studio 2.0, after successfully importing, converting and editing the GoPro video, when attempting to export the video to any of the available options, i.e., YouTube, Vimeo or 720HD, the exports fails and the following message is displayed:
"Export could not start. If using Intel Integrated Graphics, please ensure your drivers are up-to-date."
GoPro lists the graphics requirements as:
Graphics card that supports OpenGL 1.2 or later
Recommended for 4K editing and playback: Intel HD4000 or better (or similar class graphics card)
HP Support Assistant lists the following for the video and display adapters and does not reveal any available updates:
