i just bought my laptop 10 days ago and i am facing this problem.
Sometimes when i am working with my laptop suddenly brightness of screen start changing automatically
like decreasing and then again increasing suddenly for almost 5 seconds and comes to normal
i can't find the reason behind it .
I bought a HP G62-361TX laptop in 2010. It came with Windows 7 Home Basic 64 bit operating system. Few days ago, I upgraded my system and installed Windows 7 Ultimate - 32 bit on it. I have installed audio, chipset and almost all drivers but I am having problem in installing Graphic Drivers. I am facing many problems like I can't adjust screen brightness, I can't increase my screen Resolution beyond 1024*768, many games and videos aren't opening because of this graphic driver problem. I installed all the graphic drivers from HP site but some aren't getting installed and some aren't working. I opened device manager but I didn't find any other adapter other than Standard VGA Graphics Adapter under Display Adapter option so I tried to upgrade driver of that adapter but it said that driver is already up to date. I have tried almost everything to install graphic driver on my laptop but everything failed. Please give solution for my problem. Please Please Please... 
I was told it was possible by connecting an HDMI cord but do not see an HDMI OUT only an HDMI in. Is there a different cord I need or is it just not possible??

I would like to install an AMD Radeon R9 290x in an HP Pavilion DV6. The reason for this is that it is an amazing computer,all but the Graphics Processor,therefore,I would like to install this graphics processor into my computer to replace the ATI Mobility Radeon currently in it. However, I would like to know if it even fits in the computer,if not, is there any other good graphics processor I could install into this laptop that can run the game ARK: Survival Evolved specifically?

Win10 analyzer says the video driver is out of date.
NVIDIA search at NVIDIA.com says get the driver from the manufacturer.
HP doesn't recognize the computer when doing a search.
Is there an HP GeForce driver driver for this machine?

4gb ram (max ram 8gb)
my question is, if i add more ram up to 8gb will my video card memory will increase more or no?
i heard somewhere, if laptop has integreted graphics card, adding more ram will increase it's ram too, is that true or just lie?

I have HP Probook 6570b, and it has AMD Radeoon HD 6570M video graphics card.
I use one external monitor via RGB port. Now I am planning add one more external monitor using display port which is located back side of laptop.
You can see that port on this document (http://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c04296097.pdf) at page 5 numbered with 10.
My question is if I can use 2 external monitors using VGA and Display ports of laptop? And also laptop`s monitor should be on, so there will be 3 monitors including laptop's monitor.

I have been having problems with getting nothing but a black screen for about a year now. The laptop is able to boot up and I run it on an external monitor. The backlit screen comes up once in a while, but I am never able to see the laptop as a laptop, only as a desktop.
The problem actually went away for about a month, then one big Windows update came on May 29, 2015, and the black screen has been there since.
I have read all the other procedures to remove battery, plug in cable, hold power key, and so on and so forth.
Nothing has worked, and this is frustrating due to the fact this laptop is only 2 years old and have only had a working screen for one year.
Any suggestion for a solution would be much appreciated. If I can get this laptop running again, my trust with HP will be regained for my next computer.

I can't adjust brightness at HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC after upgrading to Windows 10.
Neither by F2/F3 buttons (I even don't see any animation), nor by any regular Windows' way. It's always maximum.
I've updated all available HP drivers from the HP site and from Windows Update.
I have one more point about it. I've changed the brocken screen at the laptop. Screen works properly except brightness. I had Windows 8.1 before and brightness adjustment worked properly on the old screen. I didn't try to change the brightness on Windows 8.1 when I changed the new screen, so I can't tell you if it worked properly on the W8.1 and new screen. I've updated the system exactly after changing the screen.
Does anybody know how to fix it?

I have a question about installing updated graphics driver sp59783.exe. I am currently using an Elitebook 6930p running Windows 7 Ultimate 64. I was and still am having an issue where a secondary monitor is not displaying the correct resolution. When connected via VGA input to my docking station and selecting the duplicate option, I do get a duplicate image on both screens but instead of 1440 x 900, I get 1200 x 900 or somthing close to that. I'm definitely not seeing a full image but cropped on both sides of the main screen and secondary moniter. The secondary screen is only 20", so I can't imagine the secondary monitor size being an issue.
In an attempt to remedy this problem I came accross a solution online that simply suggested updating the graphics driver. I did find an updated graphics driver on your site (sp59783.exe). Upon downloading this driver I noticed a few things. First it described a "fix" that is supposed to -" Fixes an issue where the Device Manager displays a Generic non-Plug and Play Monitor." according to your description. I do have this Generic display appear when the second monitor is added. I tried to install the driver but keep running into the dreaded "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"...with a red "X". After reading the install notes I read this,

After seeing this I decided to check MY actual chipset and found that I have this liitle guy...Mobile Intel (R) 4 Series Chipset PCI Express Root Port -2A41. So maybe I'm missing something, in fact I'm sure I am but why would you list this driver update for my specific laptop and operating system in your driver list but have it obviously require a different chipset? Also if these Elitebooks came with different chipsets based on specific models then why wouldn't you be a little more specific and list the chipsets that this driver only seems to work with? Since upgrading to Windows 10 I am receiving a Video_dxgkrnl_fatal _error when attempting to play certain games. War Thunder, World of Warplanes, DFX2 will cause a crash. World of tanks and World of Warships play fine, even better than with Windows 7. My system specifications are:

When I use the controls on the keyboard to adjust the screen brightness it does not work. When i go into the control panel to adjust the brightness the screen stays the same. The adjustment bar will move from dim to bright but the screen brightness will not change. How do i fix this? I have only had this computer for 4 days so everything is still at the factory settings.
