Before my Windows 10 update my webcam was working perfectly.
After the update to Windows 10, my webcam stopped working and the driver wasn't anywhere on my laptop. I recovered back to my Windows 7, but the driver was still gone.
Currently I am back running Windows 10 and cannot find the driver online.
sudden appearance of red shadowing on silverlight streaming netflix. checked a youtube video and the whole window was red. tried disabling silverlight accelerated replay w/reboot. checked video card and there wasn't anything there i could see to change that might help. tried pressing CTL+T and all it did was bring up a new tab. thank you in advance for your attention, i hope you can help.
I have a Presario CQ61-304SL and many pixels on the monitor have burnt. How can I dismantle the screen so to replace it? I can't see any screw or similar..... By the way, what is the monitor size (inches)?
I have an HP EnvyM6 laptop with OS windows 8.1 I have a truevison web cam that stopped working and seem to be taken over by an image device labled SPCA2082 PC. i have reset the laptop. I have revoved the SPCA2082PC drivers and have reinstalled the Truevison HD diver several time only to have SPC2028PC take over whenI start Skype or YouCAm. I have also tried to remove and reinstall Youcam. any Ideas would help
I have HP Envy X2. I am trying to upgrade to WIndows 10. I get an error msg that says my Intel Graphics Media Accelerator is not compatible with Windows 10.
When I check, both HP & Intel say my device is up to date.
Looking at some of the posts on the user forum I am not certain that HPand/or Intel and/or Microsoft are ready for the Windows 10 OS on these machines.
Does anybody know how to get the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator up to Windows 10 Spec and then to safely upgrade the HP Envy to WIndows 10 without losing some functionality?

Whenever I open up my YouCam, a message pops up saying
"YouCam cannot connect your webcam (HP Truevision HD). Try selecting another capture device within settings, or close any applications that may be using this webcam and then restart YouCam."
I don't have my wecam open in any other application, and I've already tried selecting HP Truevision HD under Capture Devise in YouCam 5's settings. The option is there. It just won't connect. I've used my webcam before. It still works when I Skype someone, but it won't connect to YouCam.
My laptop is up to date, and there isn't an update for YouCam 5 through the application or in the HP Support Assistant.

I have an AMD radeon (TM) HD 7670M graphic card , with switchable graphics , but the laptop seems to 'ignore' it and use the Intel HD graphic card instead . almost every game I play never detects the AMD card ,
I tried using the catalyst control center but no use , even if I changed the settings, nothing changed ( from power saving to high performance )
I want the laptop to use the AMD card all time , battery life is not a problem , but I want my computer to run the AMD 24/7 or at least for the games to detect it and use it to run games .

Hey guys, I have a pavilion 17-e017dx laptop and I'm having some trouble with it right now.
At first, the screen went blank on me after a bios/8.1 update and I was only able to use it through an external monitor. Now I'm not exactly sure what I did but now the screen is still blank on the laptop itself but on the external monitor it flashes a bunch of colors but mainly green. I am not even able to get to the start menu as the flashing is all you see from the start up. The last thing that I do remember, is that I tried to start it up from safe mode. And that's when the nonstop flashing of not being able to see anything started.
Any insight on what could be wrong/what to do would be appreciated.

Desktop screen constantly refreshes on HP Pavilion dv6 after upgrading to Windows 10
I just upgraded a Pavilion dv6-3210us laptop (AMD Phenon II N660 Dual core processor with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 video), from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Now the Windows Desktop screen constantly refreshes (all desktop icons populate and the screen keeps refreshing these icons) and does not allow time to click on an icon and execute a program in normal user mode. However, the desktop screen is stable in Windows Safe Mode with Network enabled.
I also upgraded a Pavilion dv7-4180us laptop to from Windows7 to Windows 10 and it does not encounter this problem. dv7 has Intel Core i5 M460 processor and AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000 video.
Both laptops have Norton 360.
I compared processes and services of dv6 and dv7 and they look similar. Also compared on the dv6 (that has this problem) between regular mode and Windows Safe Mode. In regular mode stopped processes and services to simulate safe mode condition with the problem still persisting.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
My laptop has updates available for Windows 10. HP Support Assistance doesn't find the updates. I went to my product's website and downloaded an updated video driver. When Try to install, it errors out stating "The driver is not validated forthis computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer," HP is my computer manufacturer. Why would I get this error if I am getting the driver from HP? Any Idea on how to bypass the error message? Here is a link to my driver page.

I am having display problem with my HP laptop model HP r203tx ..it is showing vertical colourful lines and this is for the 3rd time since 2 months of purchase .it is just showing colourful vertical lines with no display ....please give some advice on this concern ..is the screen going to be replaced ?

When using programs like Google Chrome, the text appears fuzzy/blurry (best description I can give) whereas when using MS Office products each font has a very distinct clean edle. Is this something unique to the 13 inch display? Is there as a setting I'm not checking? In addition, this happens with all pop-up screens regardless of program.

After downloading Windows10, I can't open videos in Edge browser. All I get is sound with a green or black screen. I can still open if I use chrome bowser or IE. Any suggestion on what to try. Getting very frustrated been going on almost a month

Ever since I enrolled my HP 2000 2d24DX notebook for windows 10 upgrade, it's screen display stopped working.
I now see it either as Blank or Vertical Lines and cannot work on it without connecting an external Dell Monitor.
I have since received the Windows 10 upgrade and the OS was successfully installed. I was hoping the new operating system's display drivers will fix the issue but it has NOT.
Since then, i have upgraded the HP Support utility, looked for HP updates, Installed whatever was suggested, looked for Windows updates which there are none. I also got it to check if there was a problem with the display drivers and it said I had the most current drivers.
Have been tried to do the BIOS reset to factory settings but so far with no success.
Any suggestions on how I can get this issue fixed? Since I have to use the notebook with an external monitor, the notebook has become as good as a desktop.

I have tried to download any free download to view videos on my hp computer. I have vista. Anytime I try to download anything, it always comes up that I am not an administrator. Can anyone help me with a free download that works or tell me what I have to do to view videos.
I update display driver amd radeon R7 M360 to version 10.200.1060.0 . But after updating drivers brightness of laptop cannot be adjusted . Brightness of display become too high and its now hurting eyes. Please solve this problem
