I get a black screen with a broken windows icon as background after I install the driver for the display adapter.
The mouse cursor could be seen but not everything else. I could even move the mouse cursor.
I have a:
Compaq Presario CQ56-240CA Notebook PC
AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250
Windows 7 Home Premium (32 Bit)
Any advice on how I could fix this?
I have an nvidia 630m grapics card that has a code 43. I upgraded last night and it shut down my graphics card. I have deleted reinstalled and the many suggestions here but no luck in getting it to work. Is there any work around on this? I have updated the drivers from here and still wont release my card. I still have windows 8.

I have a problem with my Spectre x360 Pro, N5R93UA.
Some of the programs, windows, or even when browsing the web seem off for the resolution. It seems like its not putting out 1920x1080.. and it bugs me to no end.. Does anyone know why this is occuring?
My model is 15-r038tu and I have tried to downgrade winsows 7 from windows 8.
After that, I couldn't find suitable video driver so that HDMI is not working.
Who do you know that which driver is suitable for me? Please help my problem, thanks.
I recently opened my laptop to discover a crack right down the middle of the screen. It appears to have started around the tiny hole to the left of the webcam, as there are mulitiple smaller cracks there, and goes straight down to the bottom of the screen.
I have had this laptop for around 20 months and I have never experienced any problems with the screen; it has worked perfectly. I haven't dropped it or handled it without care and there was no problem before I went to sleep. However, I got up a discovered the crack.
Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what are the costs of repairs? I can't really see how I am at fault as I have only opened the laptop (which I have done many times previously).

i upgraded from win 8.1 to windos 10. Everything is working fine, apart from the webcam. The webcam is on and works in youcam or skype but the picture is very bad, all red and completly full of pixels. the installed driver for HP Truevisison is 10.0.10240.16384 dated 21.6.2006. This seems to be the latest driver available.
Do I have the latest driver? Do I miss a setting for the cam?

- can't set best resolution for display
- don't switch to second monitor or projector
- don't working HDMI etc
My atempt to update video drivers from AMD don't results.
I have to back to Windows 7 now.

I reinstalled my windows 7 . after reinstalling the need to install drivers for my videocard. there is one driver for Intel cards and one for card AMD , but need a third driver for them to work together is called AMD / Intel Switchable High-Definition (HD) but unfortunately this driver is not available for download on the official support of my laptop . please tell me where i can to download this driver? please help me as soon as possible, i can't work normaly.
I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and now find I can no longer stream video?
First of all, I want everyone to know that I've been a HP customer for a long time. I just purchased a new HP ENVY x360 and so far I really like it, especially the raised (easy to read) keyboard. However, one thing that continues to frustrate me is every time I am typing, especially on Facebook and or AOL (e-mail), the screen automatically keeps enlarging whenever I move my cursor around the screen... it gets so large that I end up having to close out of the page and log back in... only to have it continually repeat... hopefully, there's something that I can do that will prevent that from happening.
I updated my Laptop window 8 to window 12 though media creation link provided by microsoft but my Brightness contol
shortcuts f2 and f3 not working any more, not possible to control brightness. Please suggest what to do???

Up until a week or 2 ago, i had Windows & on this machine, and it recently upgraded itself to Windows 10. The issue exists under both OS - although only fairly recently ( a couple of months).
Every now and again (increasing lately) - i get ghost clicks on ther screen, as though the mouse (or my finger) has clicked else where on the screen. its very annoying - as i could be typing away only to find that the cursor has been moved, or that something has been activated. Often, the clicks will be in the same places - so for example, often a specfic shortcut link in my browser will be launched, because the 'click' keeps going to where this shortcut is below the address bar in the browser.
I have tried cleaning the screen, as as i say, even the upgrade to Windows 10 hasnt helped.
Any ideas?

I have aquired a Laptop DV6 3080 in 2012 to play games, and since there you never release an video drive update. I spens more the US1K and i am totolly disapointed with your products due the lack of support on updates. Now that widows 10 is a very good OS i want you to provide us the video drive for it...if not i will never buy anything else from HP again.

Brandnew Elitebook 840 does not recognize my external LG E2240 display. As soon as i connect the (traditional) vga cable monitor goeds into power save mode.
Monitor and cable are not the issue because all works fine with mij old HP laptop.
THis is very problematic because I am also not able to connect a beamer, something that is very often necesarry.

Is there a Windows 10 Driver out there for this video card? HP won't support it. The only update they have is for Widows Vista. Most all that used that are long gone.
I downloaded windows 10 to my computer recently and now my videos have a green screen or a black one. the audio is fine and if i scroll the mouse across i can see the scenes? Why wont it play right? Ive tried mulitiple sites. Ive tried with and without the flash player on. Ive downloaded the latest version. Ive done everything i can?
When I open my camera it just shows a white screen. It does not show the image. It is not the lighting or anything like that. How do i fix it?
