turned on laptop was doing updates and when finished the home page started flashing on off all icons go away and come back can't click on anything nothing happens can't shut down have to hold power button until it goes off.

Video Hesitation HD 6520G in Win10
After installing Win10 found that videos momentarily hesitates every few seconds. It did not do this under Win 7.
I was not able to find a driver update for the HD 6520G to address this problem.

cracked touch screen!!
i need to find out the part number for my touch screen that I cracked on my hp beats special edition 15 po30nr... is this covered under factory warranty as well? its probably not but was just wondering... thanks

Display colours looks washedout
Display looks worst . colours are washed out pinkish colour is more at some places . 1080p videos run at 15fps in vlc/ metro player . And looks pixelated , 720p runs smoothly but same here looks pixelated and washed out colours

Tried latest nvidia/ intel drivers. Enable /disabled adaptive brightness in both windows nothing changed , calibrated display in both windows nothing changed. I bought this laptop 2 weeks ago

After using 3/4 days . help me its urgent.
And one more thing earlier laptop was giving an error " plugged in not charging " but it was solved by hp online assistance thnx to hp for that and they send an engineer for solving over heating problem .
He told me that it's normal to heatup during gaming
That issue was solved there .

Blue screen
Three times my laptop has closed the program i was viewing with a warning that an error had been found and windows was shutting down - this against a blue background and a high pitched buzz. My laptop is only 7 months old.

Loss of second screen after HP Suport Assistant installed updates
This is a brand new laptop which was okay untill;
I have installed ALL the updates required one being nvidia now I have lost the use of my second screen I can push Windows key + P like is says but has no effect, any ideas?

Disabled intel graphic adapter
Hi,
after installing windows 10(that all went well) I have disable the intel graphic adapter in order to use only the AMD one.
Now the screen is always blue and I am not able to log on into my session
What can I do?

Probook 450 G1 video playback issue after upgrade to Windows 10
Hi.
There are multiply issues (stop, twitch in video and sound) in video playback after upgrade Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.
Issues present for:
- Video playback from file (avi, mkv, mp4 etc) by Movies&TV AND VMP;
- Playback video from Youtube by Edge and IE11;
- Playback video in Games.
NO any issues present for (workaround):
- Video playback from file (avi, mkv, mp4 etc) by VLC player;
- Playback video from Youtube by Firefox.
No any mean to workaround that issue in Games: its use embedded browser resources.
VLC uses own video codecs, so I think that issue source possibly is in embedded Windows 10 codecs?
Drivers:
Intel Video drivers from SoftPaq Download Manager (latest for Windows 10: the same as at HP support site).
AMD Drivers for Widnows 10 from SoftPaq Download Manager (the same as at HP supports site) is buggy and causes crach ("Internal Power Error"). So Catalyst drivers are installed from AMD site (latest for Windows 10).
Additional drivers also upgraded for Windows 10 (via SDM for Windows 10): chipset drivers, WiFi, 3D guard etc.
Any ideas?

greyish/black clouds on bottom of screen
My brand new pavillion x2 has greyish/black cloud mark on the bottom right hand side of the screen - what causes this ? is it easily fixed ? should this be returned back - i only got this today & im really disappointed -

Black screen
I just bought my computer and while surfing the screen went black. No warning, no nothing. I have taken the battery out, used only the AC adapter. I have done everything that it suggest to do and still have nothing. When I turn it on it has no signs of noise that it is booting. What is going on? Is this computer known for problems?

Hi,
I have this issue after upgrading from Windows 8.1to Windows 10:
When bringing the PC back from sleep mode I get a dim and difficult to read display/screen forcing me to restart the PC. After restarted, it works just fine.
How can this be solved? I have tried contacting Windows and they seem to not have a solution for this.

Black Screen when gpu under load
I have a HP Pavilion g7 2269wm, amd a8 4500m with radeon hd on board graphics and 6 gigs of ram.
So far my laptop is running great..under normal/light load. However if I try and play a low demand 3d game the computer will go completely black and the fan will start running at max until its blowing cold air but laptop doesn't turn back on without a hard restart. There are no,error messages or any signs of a crash in the logs. I installed speedfan and watched the temperatures, it will do this anywhere from 45c to 65c.
I've pulled the laptop apart, cleaned the fan out and replaced the fan, replaced the stock thermal paste with the artic silver 5 I used for my desktop and replaced the cpu, fan and heatsink. I only use this laptop on a desk in a house that stays around 67f.
I'm not sure what else I can do to fix this computer, any ideas?

Not rotating
Dear HP,
New 2 in 1 laptop and nothing but issues upon issues, upon issues. I purchased this latop for it's 2 in 1 feature but the unit will not auto-rotate when I turn or change the display. The 'Lock rotation of this display' is grayed out and set in the on position. I am unable to change this setting and can not find any additional settings to adjust. Any setting adjustments you show should never, I repeat, never be 'locked or grayed out'... never! Please advise how I can set this unit to do what I want and paid for.
