Using an SSD and it always took 5-10 seconds to boot up.
Now it takes more than a minute and there's no particular drive activity while I'm looking at a black screen before the lock screen appears. Any ideas how to fix that?
By now I'm on Windows 10 (had the same issues on 8.1 btw) and it didn't get any better after the upgrade so I decided to ask about it. Reverting to the old driver provided by HP does get rid of the long boot time but then catalyst control center says there's no options to customize when I try to open it. Meaning there's no way for me to change the GPU either.
Also, how do I know which graphics processor I am currently using in the new version of Catalyst Control Center?
Does selecting Maximize Battery Life or Maximize Performance under Power play really change the GPU I'm using? Find it hard to believe how it went from flickering when I changed the GPU in previous versions to a seamless transition...
