[Incompatibility Issue] Intel HD Graphics 4000 & AMD Radeon HD 7670M HP Pavilion 2304tx windows 8.1
Hey Everyone,
To keep things short and simple, I'm experiencing an issue with using my AMD Radeon HD 7670M video card.
I've HP G6 2304tx running windows 8.1 has two video cards inbuilt; Intel HD Graphics 4000 & AMD Radeon HD 7670M (2GB);
I've updated all my drivers to the latest, including the INTEL DRIVER (the driver from hp site shows it is incompitable so i manually updated from device manager using the option udate driver).
Although, when I did this and after I restarted my computer, I get a message from the Catalyst Control Centre saying that "AMD driver is disabled and that I have to either download the latest driver or enable it through device manager."
What I did next is I visited the HP website and I downloaded the 'latest' AMD driver. and installed but it shows installed but the Catalyst Control Centre is not visible and seems that it is not installed.
I've also tried to download the latest drivers from the Radeon website but I simply can't because I get a message saying that I have incompatible drivers!
it seems that both intel and amd drivers are not accepting each other .
Some useful information you may/may not need:
Laptop: HP pavilion g6 2304tx
Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-bit

AMD Graphic Driver Problem.
I have windows 8 32 bit os.In the device management option,it displays-"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" for amd radeon 7600 m series.when we make a right click on the ordinary screen,the following text will appear
-"catalyst control center cannot be started.There are currently no settings that can be configured using catalyst control center".
What is the problem?help me...............

hp pavilion dv6767tx graphics card
My hp pavilion dv6767tx graphics card is no longer working. The HP service guy in Bangalore, India asked me to change the motherboard which will cost me quite a lot of money. Also, I dont want to use the same mother board as it has this over heating issue. That's how I ruined my laptop. Due to overheat, graphics card got burned. i reballed once but same problem within 2 months. Do I have any cheap alternative without any graphics card?It's a beautiful laptop and I don't want to through it away.

HP Pavilion DV1000 VGA drivers
I have just performed a clean install of Windows XP on my HP Pavilion DV1000 and unfortunately, I had to reinstall all the drivers for it. I have found most of the drivers but on my "Windows Device Manager" It says that the VGA output driver is missing. I have been to the official HP website and have found nothing to VGA drivers.

AMD Radeon HD 7670M not running on HP Pavilion G6?
Hi,
I have a HP Pavilion g6 laptop with Intel 4000HD and Amd Radeon 7670m graphics, and as far as I can see my AMD graphics is not running even when I set certain games to run on high performance, they seem to run on my intel gpu. That wasn't the issue before, because I could clearly see the difference when I put something to run on high preformance and when something was on power saving. For example, I see people with same gpu and same cpu run Batman Arkham Origins on high detail settings, and when I put it on high performance it seems to use my intel card, because I get low fps even on lowest detail settings.
Any idea how to fix this?

Graphics Issues: Envy 6-1202SA
Have had a number of issues, presumably graphics related on my HP Envy 6-1202 SA.
First of all, I noticed a jarring / freezing effect on video playback: both videos streamed from the internet and also on files located on my machine.
Recently update to Windows 8.1 which caused the Radeon HD 8750M to show as "blocked" in device manager. The Intel HD 4000 remained intact.
I believe this is also causing me issues when trying to launch games from Steam - can load up steam and run the game but nothing actually shows. Trying to load again gives an error saying that game is already running. Have been through various fix attempts with Steam but it seems to be a problem with my machine rather than their product.
Have searched the HP website for solutions and found some drivers to install for these products but the Radeon one would not install properly.
This seems to be a fairly common issue on forums but so far the steps I've taken to resolve the problems haven't worked. Any ideas?

Red lines in Screen
We have a Dv7 3067 with the red lines and yes they are in the bios. When using another monitor there are no lines. We have replaced the LCD and the inverter flex video cable and still have lines. I know a lot of people have posted about the red lines but we have done all the repairs they have listed. Over $100 later we still have same thing. Now what

Hp 550 Screen won't power on
I am fixing an Hp 550, with windows vista basic OS,for a friend and his screen will not turn on. I hit the power button and the wifi light and the light for the power button comes on, I can hear it running but no display. I have taken out the battery and held the power button for 30 secs. No luck. I tried hitting the extrenal screen Fn key to switch through and that wasn't the problem. I tried hooking it up to an external monitor and still no display ( yes i tried switching the external screen fn key when I hooked up the external monitor from my desktop comp.) What does this mean if it wouldn't display the image on an external monitor. Thanks everyone for taking the time to read and to respond to my post.

Problem screen brightness
Hello,
I have a HP Pavilion dv6-6b14ed Entertainment Notebook. (using windows 7 64 bits)
And my problem is that i cant adjust the screen brightness (its always on 100% which is really annoying) and the buttons on f2 and f2 wont work.
I already did some research and i found a topic (http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Display-and-Video/cannot-change-screen-brightness/m-p/162612#M8134) were they say you have to update you drivers so i updated them.
And after that i could change the screen brightness again but..... i couldnt do anything on my laptop, i couldnt use VLC anymore, steam didnt work anymore, hp assisent progam didnt work anymore etc.
So i changed i updated those drivers back using recovering to a few days before.
So is there anyway i can fix the screen brightness WITHOUT letting everything else crash??

HP G62-a29SA Display failure

I am sure this has probably been covered, however my IT knowledge is far too remedial to be able to correlate a previous post to the fault I am encountering.
When I turn my laptop on, it makes all the right sounds and all the right lights come on, however the screen fails to work. I have tried connecting the laptop to my TV using an HDMI cable to see if I can get a visual this way, but the TV screen display is blank also.
It might also be worth mentioning that although the wi-if light comes on when the laptop is started, it stays orange, indicating it hasn't picked up my wireless signal [which is working fine].
Hope the above isn't too vague, any help would be very much appreciated. Many thanks!

G6-1108er does not turn on
Wnen I press power button I hear that fan starts inside the notebook, all of the LEDs glow, and than nothing.
Screen is black, WIFI button is orange and does not change the color when I press it

Hi,
I've got HP Split 13-m100se x2 PC (E7E81EA) which should support WiDi. I am using Windows 8.1. When I am trying to set up WiDi software, I get the following errors:
1) operating system is not compatible with WiDi
2) Wireless card is not compatible with WiDi
3) Wireless drive cannot find or load necessary components for WiDi.
Can anyone please help me get this errors fixed? Thanks in advance!

AMD Radeon Driver problem in Pavilion dv7 notebook
I have a pavilion dv7 notebook and for the last couple months I have been experiencing problems with my graphics driver.
It began with a notice that my driver was out of date, so I went to the AMD website and attempted to install the update. I ran the dxdiag tool to find that I have a AMD Radeon HD 6620G graphics card. I could not find my product on the list to manually install the update, so I tried the amd driver downloader tool and it had a problem recognizing my graphics card. I then tried to update it through the HP Support Assistance and that seemed to work for awhile.
Yesterday my screen changed to the lowest resolution and a notice came up that it wasn't recognizing my graphics driver. I have again tried to manually update from the AMD website. When that didn't work I downloaded the AMD driver downloader and after installing all it told me is that "your computer does not contain a proper graphics adapter" and closed the program.
I am uterally lost at this point, and any assistance would be greatly apreciated.

HDMI STOPPED WORKING ON G6 AFTER WINDOS UPDATE

I use my Pavillion G6 to project corporate videos and about 9 months ago the functionality of the HDMI stopped working after a windows update.
I searched everywhere to find a solution to the problem but gave up after 2 months. I am now wondering if anybody ever found how to fix this common fault with the HP g6.

Color Calibration
Hi there,
I have a HP Pavilion g6 laptop. I was given a Canon Pima MG5340 printer as a gift. I do quite a bit of photography and print at home, however have found that my image seen on my laptop is different when printed. How do I ensure that my color setup displayed on the screen is the same as what gets printed?
