AMD 8570M HD Won't Show/Run
Bought this Notebook just a couple days back and I'm having trouble switching graphics. Also, before I move onto talking about it, here's another thing that ticks me off; the notebook shows 8500 HD. Now I have Googled 8500 HD graphics and stuff and it seems to me like it's not the actual graphic card, but a series. Well, so I tried installing 8570 from various sources including AMD of course, but for some reason, it won't install. Gives me an NSIS error.
Also, when I switch it to "8500", I noticed I get FPS very similar to R5 (Original card).

The center of my touchscreen won't work
Hi!
I have been facing a new problem regarding the touchscreen of my HP Pavilion in the past few days. What happens is that the very center of the screen won't respond to my touch when I click it or drag the pointer trough it (in a diagonal movement, for example). I've done some tests using different programs and applications and it seems the problem affects them all. I've tried recalibrating the screen once, but nothing changed. The last time I had trouble with my touchscreen, I was able to fix it by simply cleaning the screen. What bothers me the most is that I haven't dropped the device, nor hit it against other things. I haven't downloaded new programs recently either. It's relatively new (bought on April 2014) and I've been using certified products to clean it ever since it was bought (I also clean a similar HP notebook with the same products and apparently no damage was dealt). Also, I've tried turning it off a few times, but it didn't work as well. What should I do? Is this really related to hardware malfunctioning or is it just a software bug? Would an update or downgrade solve the problem?

videos won't play in video editors or in the media center
I can get videos to play on my internet but not on the computer itself. Im trying to open them in an editor from my sd card and they won't play, and they won't even play in the media center. but i can get them to play on my camera. what is the issue? I really need these as they are for a special project im working on?
ive aslo had previous issue with making this computer work when dealing with videos. i usually have better luck on my 5 year old windows 7 Dell computer.
im just wondering if there is any solutions to permently help fix this issue.

Having problems with using dual monitors on HP Folio 9470m and 2013 Ultraslim Docking Station
I have an HP Foio 9470m laptop that is docked on a recently acquired 2013 Ultraslim Docking Station with multiple display port connections.
The only way I can extend my monitors is if I hook up one monitor to VGA and the other to displayport. If I connect both monitors to displayport, they automatically mirror each other despite how I have them configured. If you click on "identify" monitor in the screen resolution window, it identifies both monitors as monitor1.
I'm digging around and can't really find anything useful in terms of a fix. I'm shocked that I have to live with this and use VGA on one of my HD monitors.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Screen Brightness function keys not working
The F2 and F3 keys are not functioning correctly on my laptop after clearing the original HP image due to the amount of bloatware. I've installed the chipset, Intel Graphics and NVIDIA graphics drivers with no joy. I'm sure there is an easy fix to this, but I've not had much luck so far.

Graphics Problem
Hello everyone,
My daughter's old nc8430 running Win7 suddently started acting weird and displaying colour lines and distorted pixels:
I connected an external monitor and this was the result:
Is the graphics card dead? I believe that it is on-board the motherboard so replacing it is not an option. (The cost would be the same as buying a new laptop). Is there something I could do to try and fix it?

black screen
Hello.
When I turned on my laptop this afternoon I had a black screen. The computer booted up fine, just no imaging. I've done the steps for a hard reset and that didn't fix the problem, also have hooked up the laptop to an external monitor and recieved imaging on that monitor and ran the diagnostic test.
The screen still remains black and I'm not sure what else to do. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Graphics Driver
I have HP pavilion g6 1200 tx laptop and it's 64 bit machine. I upgraded the OS from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and later Windows 8.1. But I can't find any driver for Windows 8.1 64 bit. There are only Windows 8 drivers as latest. And these drivers are causing problems mainly graphics drivers. As Microsoft is providing free upgrades to Windows 10 for those who have windows 7 or 8.1, I want to know if HP will provide drivers for Windows 10 when it will available?

Upgrade graphic card for MK10 on hp g62

I installed MK10 on my hp G62, AMD M880G with ATI mobility radeon HD 4250 graphic card but it seems the drives do not support MK10, is there a way i can upgrade or tune it so i can play MK10??

My HP TouchSmart tx2 Notebook PC troubling me lot these days
Whenever I try to on my notebook I get broken screen. When trying for hours, some times I get the option "Launch Startup Repair (recommended) and when I choose this option my notebook get on after the process is done and it keep working fine for hours and then again all of a sudden it get hangs for minutes, display screen become broken in small square boxes and a message flashed on screen "Display Driver Stopped responding and has recovered: Display Driver ATI Radeon family stopped responding and has successfully recovered", When this happen two types of scenario happen 1) My notebook resume working sometimes 2) bluescreen message flashes and it gets shut down other times.
I am including the screen shot of the issue for your better understanding,
I just could not diagnose the issue whether it is display driver issue or overheating, or BIOS,
I hope somebody here can diagnose the issue correctly and suggest me measure to take.

HELP - HDMI output not working after Windows 8.1
Hi,
Hoping someone can help, purchased hp touchsmart 15- laptop about a month ago and having problems connecting it to televsion via HDMI lead.
I have tried various cables on to 2 seperate tv's and im getting a "no Signal" on both. When HDMI is plugged in i go into the control panel on laptop and can see its connected but just not getting anything from it and receiving the no signal.
Can anyone please help as im getting a bit frustrated now.

there is thin horizontal white line running on my screen
i bought a hp HP Notebook - 14-r213tx in singapore 2 days ago. it was working nicely on the first day. second i came to india and opened it, suddenly a thin horizonttal line appeared in my screen. so i called the hp customer care of india, they said that they have this particular model of laptop in india. so they asked to contace the country where i bought it.
so kindly give me solution for the problem.

Spectre x360 QHD Screen Yellow Tint
I have noticed that the QHD screen on my x360 has yellow tint to it. Compared to several other devices it is quite obvious, and is a big problem when color correcting photos.
Has anyone else noticed this issue? Who makes this panel?
I am aware I can correct this somewhat with calibration, but I need to know if this is just the panel or a faulty unit (my exchange period is about to expire).

LCD screen looks white washed and grainy
Strange issue.
We have a 8460p Elitebook we have been working on for weeks. When you boot up machine, the LCD looks like it has been white washed (best description I can think of). I have replaced the LCD with a known good one. I have replace the display cable from the motherboard to the LCD, and I have replaced the motherboard twice with new ones. I have looked at the other wires around the LCD to see if one of them may be unsheilded somewhere that would distort the display. At my wits end. Does anyone have any other ideas that I have not mentioned that it could be?
