So this update (352.08) doesnt work with my nvidia geforce gt750m. Games just closes without error and programs running nvidia stops responding. the update 347.88 works but nvidia told me to wait till next update and i did that 3 times and none of them worked. Its annoying i cant get the updates.

LED lights glow, a fan sound is heard, but the display remains black, notebook does not start.
perform a hard reset
I have added a external monitor and restarting the computer. All Power light are on, Fan and Hard Drive make sounds, and still nothing on both monitors.
Reseated all hardware
Still nothing but black on both displays.
Is it possible that a virus could cause Display screen to be black and not booting up. Seem that the laptop freezes up, because all lights stay on.

Pavilion DV6 6195CA constantly overheating. Probably a video card issue but can't solve.. Help!

I've been having a hell of a time trying to solve this overheating issue with my laptop.
I belive now that it is something to do with the video card drivers. I have the radeon 6770m switchable graphics card.
Can anybody tell me what is the most STABLE and RELIABLE driver for this system? If I download from ATI, and let it autodetect, it installs a driver that doesn't work. When I use the HP recommended driver, it's really old, works, but causes my laptop to run extremely hot as soon as there is any load (ie just playing a video on youtube spikes the temperature by about 20-30 degrees!)
Also, I can't seem to get catalyst control centre to install and run on my pc anymore. I want to try turning off the switchable graphics, but any time I try to run CCC, it says "Catalyst control center: host application has stopped working"
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Screen image is streaks periodically on start up and shut down
Sometimes when I start up my Hp 4540S the screen becomes streaky like bad reception on an old TV. This usually happens after moving the computer, starting or shutting down computer. Any suggestions?

Failed graphics Driver
My computer is failing to update certain graphics drivers, and they are repeatedly failing when playing games. It is also failing to update the Microsoft Teredo Tunneling driver. I am not sure if the Teredo Tunneling driver is related to the graphics failure.
Please advise how to solve this problem so I can play this game on my computer.

Elitebook 2540p docking station display port & vga port flickering monitor
If I do not use at all the docking station and i connect a second monitor to the laptop using the display port or the VGA port everything works absolutely fine.
With the laptop on the docking station and the docking station having 1 monitor connected to it (display port or VGA. it does not matter which. symptoms are the same):
1. If the laptop monitor is closed, then the external monitor flickers like crazy.
2. As soon as i open the laptop monitor, then the desktop is shown on the laptop screen and the external monitor stops flickering and works absolutely fine as the second monitor of the laptop.
I've got windows 8.1 x64 installed.
Any ideas?

I have the HP dv5-1135ee laptop and have recently upgraded to windows 8.1 x32 OS. Under device manager, 2 unknown devices are detected, with ACPI\HPQ0004\2&DABA3FF&1 and ACPI\ENE0100\4&34E33D79&0. Windows was not able to find any drivers for them and I have no idea what hardware on my laptop they refer to.And i also want to attach my laptop with projector but i can't do that.
Could you suggest suitable drivers for them for windows 8.1 x32? Thanks in advance.

and every were okay exept when i tried to install AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver
after i download and install it the laptop request restart
and here what shows up to me during the starting 
then its turne to the blue screen 
which is the problem that make me make format at first its came again after install the AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver
after that i make a system restore and im working right now whithout AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver

Switchable graphics
Switchable graphics not working. Tryed bios update, factory restore from HDD first and from backup discs later, clean install of original windows and driver installation from HP and from AMD (all previous versions until the latest with or without the catalyst center). For more then a month now I have been searching for a way to fix this problem but came up empty. HELP!
