screen display shift in Google Chrome
When I Connect my HP Pavilion d7-6c-90us to Chrome the screen display has shifted to the upper right corner, and in the minimize mode. The controls to maximize and close are off the screen. When I connect to internet explorer, I get a normal display in the center. Help to solve this problem woukld be greatle appreciated, as I prefer Chrome over Explorer.

Brightness adjustment keys f2/f3 not working
Hi, model number of my laptop is hp 15-g221au. I have been using this machine since 4 months. Since last two days the brightness adjustment keys f2/f3 doesnt work. When I press f3 it goes to search directly, which should appear when I press fn+f3. Help me. Thanx in advance.

YOU CAM NOT WORKING
5 months after the pruchase of ths device, the youcam isn't working porperly. The image apperas very black, and lighting is very dark, even when I;m outside with my laptop, with all the lighting from the sun it still appears very dark, better but very dark. What can I do?

screen blank after remove & replacement
I'm so thankful for HP Expert Day!
I was having overheating processor issues on my DV6-2057CL where my laptop got unusually hot under moderate loads. The fan would run faster and faster and then sometimes it would shut down, seemingly from heat. I took apart the hardware, blew dust and lint out of the fan and fins (the fins were clogged). Then I removed the heat synch from the microprocessor and applied new thermal grease. Also, I applied thermal grease to the other module under the heat sync (Radeon video processor?). I did not remove the soft tape from the Radeon (I think) chip before putting some thermal grease on it.
I reassembled everything, booted up, and had a blank screen. Checked the 40 pin LCD video cable - and it was attached. I tried to attach an external monitor, but could not get it to display anything. Perhaps I wasn't using the right key combination.
I've got everything disassembled again. What are my next troubleshooting steps?
Should I remove the heat synch again and remove the soft tape from the Radeon card and only apply thermal grease to it? What's next?

Switchable Graphics Problem
Guten Tag,
So ich hab folgenden problem, ich hab mir vor 2 wochen ein neuen laptop gekauft HP 355 G2.
Spez:
CPU: AMD A8-6410 mit AMD Radeon R5 Graphics 512mb
GPU: AMD Radeon R5 M240 2GB
Wen ich GTA V starte, andert er die grafikkarte nicht auf die R5 M240 sondern er bleibt auf der integrierten R5 Graphics...
Kann ich die grafikkarten iwie manuel andern, weil er sie automatisch nicht andern will?
Schon probiert:
- Catalyst auf "Hochleistung" gestellt, passiert nichts.
- Im BIOS versucht zu konfigurieren, aber da gibt es die option nicht...
Bitte um eine losung.

Dedicated video memory = 0MB in Win8.1
Hi..
I have a problem with my video card intel HD 4400 after installing Windows 8.1 64bit
The Dedicated video memory is 0 MB ! i can see the problem when playing HD videos or playing video games...
which wasn't happening in my old Windows 7 64bit
everything was working fine and Dedicated video memory was 64 MB...
i tried to install the latest graphic card from HP But it still the same..

white screen when turned on
When I started my laptop all I got was a white screen. I can hear it running but that's it. This is the first laptop I've owned so not sure what to do?

So, interesting problem...the Hp Envy 17t backplate is...actually the entire bottom of the laptop. It doesn't have a spot to just remove the memory cover.
I probably shouldn't be doing this on my own huh.

How do i activate my Nvidia Geoforce as advertised?

My DV6 Laptop displays a message at startup that a Fan is not working correctly. .
Displays message re Fan not working correctly each time it starts up. I can continue but it does not recommend it. Is there anyting I can do other than send it to the repair shop?

White screen
MY screen went white about 2 months ago and I set my laptop aside because of my lack of need for it at the time. Today I realized that I will need it soon. I'm not sure the exact model but it is a windows 8 and touch screen. Also it is a core i3, if that helps with anything. Occasionally over the past 2 months I would turn it on to see if the problem fixed itself, it did not. This morning I turned it on and it did not work. I then proceeded to wipe all the smudges on it to take it to the store which I purchased it from to see if they know What's wrong with and also How it can be fixed. After wiping it I accidentally pressed the power button and it turned on like normal. This lasted about 10 minutes until the screen went white again. I then did some research on what it can be. I connected it to my TV and the computer works perfectly fine but the display won't appear on the monitor. Because it randomly started working I feel like a wire may be loose or something of that nature. Any ideas? Thank you for your time

Graphics not working properly
Hi, i have HP ENVY TouchSmart 15-j184sa Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) laptop with genuine Windows 8.1 on it , everything was going good and few days ago i got an email from microsoft for windows 10 and i upgraded to it but i didn't like it so i downgraded my pc to genuine windows 8.1 again but after that it's graphics are not working as they should be . I am attaching some pictures so they may help you . these cutted pictures have some good quality but in real they are very bad.i did everything , windows recovery,refresh,reinstall drivers
