So I have that problem that I want to know if someone ever had or have the answer for.
Each time I plug a second monitor using an HDMI cable, in order to get it to work I need to go to the device manager, disable and enable the Intel HD 4600 driver.
It's was OK when I used to connect the second monitor once in a while.. but now I use it on daily bases and each time it goes to sleep mode I need to do the disable/enable thing again.
Please let me know if you have any solution,

Can someone tell me which Display drivers to use for this computer?
Apparently, HP will not answer any questions now unless your unit is in warranty. Funny, because when my computer was in warranty they didn't answer any questions or fix my problems then either.
So, I'm hoping one of you out there in the community, can help.
Hi, I have an HP pavilion dv6-6c01ej and I want to use the on-screen display, to see for example when the volume when I turn it up or down (also for brightness change and so..).
I looked in the Programs and Features in Control Panel and saw I have the last version of the driver (version 1.3.5).
I couldn't find the actual prgoram in the Start menu (I don't even know if it exists).
I wanted to download it again so I can try uninstall and install, but the file could not be found, using this link:

I don't know if it's the same driver for all the pavilion dv6 pc's.
Also, I tried downloding the HP MediaSmart for that, but the download failed for some unknown reason.
So, How can I turn this feature on?
My screen display is noticeably washed out, which mucks with my images in Photoshop (they appear oversaturated on other computes/devices). I've played around with just about every setting but nothing seems to work.
Any help is appreciated, I've been frustrated by this for a while now.
Was working perfectly, then opened it up and had no screen, just the caps lock flashing once every 5 seconds and the wireless led constant amber. The fan is working, the hard drive is good, checked it with another computer, the dvd drive works, just like it's on but just a black screen. I have heated it and messed with it and got it working. If I left it on and the lid open it worked perfectly, even would do restarts for software updates. I set the lid operations to do nothing when closed, never hibernate, never go to sleep. Turned it off and closed the lid. Now I'm right back where I started with the black screen, flashing caps lock every 5 seconds, and constant amber wireless led. I'm beginning to really think that the best fix is to go and buy a Dell. The ones I've had are a lot more dependable than this HP failure.

I have a HP Pavilion 15-p042ax Notebook PC Model #:K2N74PA with AMD R5 and R7 intergrated Video card, recently downgraded from win 8.1 to windows 7, I cannot get the AMD R7 M260 drivers to work (yellow ! mark). The R5 installed fine
I have tried HP drivers sp68613 and also from AMD site AMD-Catalyst-15.4Beta-64Bit-Win7-Apr9.exe
I have also used the AMD full driver uninstall/cleanup (amdcleanuputility1.4.0.0.exe)
Its really fustrating, is ther a certain process to install these drivers on HP laptops like the dreadful Toshiba's??
I have googled and tried some of the solutions with no help

I bought my HP Envy 15 ts Notebook PC around September 2014, and the only complaint up until now that I've had is about the distracting fan noise, which is bareable now as my brain seems to subconsciously block it out in quite the same way that it would block out one's own body odor, a child crying, or any other persistent unpleasantries after prolonged exposure.
Now, I have another problem, only 7 months after buying the machine! Every video I stream lags immensely, to the point where they become unwatchable. This is not acceptable for a laptop so young, especially given it's specs. It has a 2.5GHz intel i5 processor, and 4GB of RAM.
Let me explain the problem further. YouTube videos are actually the only videos that work without lagging.... even then, it only runs smoothly up until the resolution is set to 1080p, at which point the video becomes really choppy. Am I wrong in assuming that a fairly new mid-range computer should be able to handle a 1080p video???? On a side note - the last generation of my phone could handle this task with ease. I could probably grit my teeth and bare this loss of resolution and settle, like a feral beast, with 720p.... if it worked for anything else except YouTube.
Streaming on any other website is futile, even legitimate ones. Watching a TV show on Netflix, or 4od, should be an enjoyable experience, instead, every punchline is ruined by the spasmodic fluttering of a cast who seem to have all inexplicably developed Parkinsons whilst trying to catch up with the audio track - this causes ineffable fury, enough to make me question my own psychological stability.
I have tried making sure that every other program or tab is closed except for the one playing the video. I have tried playing the video while monitoring my CPU and RAM usage in task manager, but this all seems to be normal. I'm one step away from playing my notebook some nice relaxing music, giving it a back massage, telling it it looks nice and running it a hot bath. Please help.
After Upgrade from Win 8 to 8.1 i have problems with the display (Pixeled Images).
I tries to update Intel Display driver with no success.
this morning the screen want dsplay nothing (black screen)
the computer,keyboatd and the fun are working but no display.
How can i fix it?

The Cyber Link You Cam in my, HP Pavilion dv6-6149nr Entertaiment PC, computer has ceased to fuction. When I click on the Icon to open the webcam the screen has a pop up that states that there is no webcam attached. In Windows devices I'm informed that the device is working properly.
The ONLY icons on the screen for the webcam that fuction are to select photos only, video only, or photos and video. The delete and email buttons work, but NOTHING else.
I've contacted the Cyber Link Web Cam people and have as yet not gotten any advice that fixes the problem.
I realigned my hard drive and that has not worked.
My computer has the Windows 7 Home Premium OS with Service Pack One.

I've tried a lot of things but I can't seem to find a way for my laptop to use the Radeon not the Intel HD Graphics Family. I cann't play my games because of this.... There is a thing about the Catalyst Control Center I can't configure the graphics for specific programs ( pardon my grammar) AMD catalyst control center it says it cant start the program because there is no AMD driver software instaled or there is no AMD card there.
Hi! The graphics card on my hp probook 4520s got broken. It started giving me a blue screen first. I've google the error message and found out that it stands for Video Card. Tried to run it today, now it's not even working. Windows loads as usual, now it's not giving any errors but the screen is not working at all. So i belive that the card has burned out. Therefore i want to ask you if there's an alternitive that i can replace with the factory graphics card? And is it even possible? The card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4350.

I have a question: can I run switchable graphics in fixed mode? I mean, can I disable integrated graphics (Intel HD Graphics 4000) and only use AMD card?
In BIOS options I can only see disable/enable switchable graphics option. I think my BIOS is up to date.

I have a HP 15-g094sa Notebook PC with an AMD Radeon(TM) R5 Graphics card. I am finding i cant wach any videos online or watch downloads from BBC Iplayer. I have clicked on the settings, advanced and accelaerated graphics and it makes no difference what so ever. If i had known i'd have this problem i would never have bought a HP laptop.
Im also finding that when i type the laptop is unable to keep up with what i type and missing letters or symbols regularly this is also very annoying especially as someone who can type at a reasonable speed. I shouldnt have to stop to read it just to make sure the letters are al typing.
I would like solutions to both these problems please.
Hello I have a HP G62-b10sp, and lately I've been having some problems with my graphic cards drivers, I got a blue screen error and then I coulnd't log into Windows, I tried restoring the computer to factory settings but it didnt work because somehow my graphic card drivers got corrupted and I had to uninstall them, but now everytime I start Windows it automatically installs the corrupted graphic card again.. I can't acess gpedit.msc, (maybe because my system is in Portuguese but other things like regedit, msconfig are acessible), so I cant stop windows from installing them automatically, what I really need is some update drivers but when I acess AMD website it tells me to download "amd-catalyst-omega-14.12-with-dotnet45-win7-64bit" I've tried to, and I didnt have any problems after installing them, until I tried to play CS:GO, I used to play the game smoothly but now I have like 10/20 fps.. Before I had this problem I dont think I had my drivers updated and It worked just fine, would like to be able to download old version of my graphic cards drivers.
If anyone could help me, I would be very thankful

I have a question, is HP G3 250 (K9J22ES) compatible with miracast technology?
I atualized all drivers with HP Support Assistant, but when i'm trying to add new wireless display ( Windows 8.1 right side bar in "Devices") there is no option to do it. I can only see the options of chousing mode of display on external monitor, whic i don't have connected (duplicate, extend, etc...).
