Enable two external monitor plus the integrated
I'm trym'g to use 3 monitor i.e
1) built in monitor of the laptop
2) An external VGA monitor
3) An external HDMI monitor
Using two monitor all possible combination work fine (1 internal + 1 external, 2 external), but there in no way to use three monitor.
For example enabling two external monitor work fine(extending desktop to them is nice) . When i try to setup (Enabling) the third (built in monitor of the laptop) Windows 8.1 say iot cannot save the configuration.
Any hint?

compaq presario cq56 black screen on boot up after replacing the fan and keyboard
Hi the cpu fan on my computer died, so we replaced it and i took the opertunity to replace the keyboard at the same time.
Now the fan works just fine the blue/white power button works, initially the caps lock button came on and stayed on but no longer comes on at all.
I am quite the novice in all things computer so think i may have done something stupid, and fried the motherboard, but if anyone could come up with something for me to try before i have to go through replacing that bit i would appreciate it.
Oh i have tried an external monitor and it says recieving no signal on the screen.

Any game not working properly..
I have a Hp Pavillion with 1.8 Ghz i3 dual core,4 gb RAM and a RADEON 2gb graphics.
First I had Windows 8 but now I have upgraded to windows 8.1 and from then the problems started, the games werent running properly even on low graphics. The games even not respond sometimes, and in task bar I saw that it was using Intel graphics 4000.So the question is how do I can get my RADEON back pls. sombody send a solution..

remote desktop display problem
I have an HP ProBook 450/g1 Laptop, Windows 7 Professional, connected to a HooToo docking station. I have a Pavilion 25bw monitor connected to the docking station. I use MS Remote Desktop to connect to another computer. The display from the remote computer is way small when I am connected with Remote Desktop. I have been using an HP Desktop computer for years and connected perfectly. Any ideas as to why I would have difficulty with the remote display using a docking station and connecting to my other computer remotely? This is totally a remote display problem, everything else is perfect.

Keep getting message from HP support program to download update: NVIDIA 2013 Window7881 Video Driver
I keep trying to download it and it keeps failing at the instaling state.
Is this no longer relavant? Is there anything I need to check or look out for?

Green Screen..GRRRRRR.
Has anyone found a solution that works for more than a day for the green screen videos? Everything is up tp date on my laptop and they have not worked since I bought it.Everytime you call HP I get the run around about everything being updated..YES everything is updated.

View % keeps changing, Assistant bar keeps popping up on right of screen
The view size continually changes, It happens whenever (irratic) sometimes it goes so small you cant read the text.
I have to constantly change view to 125% when this happens. How can I lock the view on 125%?
Plus te blck assistant bar constantly keeps popping up on the right sid of the screen, This is very irratating, Is there A way I can disable that black bar?
Unfortunatly I am not much of A computer person.

Green Screen
Whenever I try to watch video on the internet, the screen turns green. I can hear the sound, but the picture is all green. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!

hp laptop wont turn on blinking lights
i had the same problem with blinking lights and fan coming on
saw this on another forum
switch on your computer wrap it in a blanket for 20 to 30 minutes
computer has to be verry hot then switch off & ON AGAIN should come on now
done this loads of times now works eavry time.
if i shutdown it wont come on again i have to wrap it up n get it roastin again.
once the computer is on dont shutdown just pull out the power adaptor next time you switch it on should boot up
normal if it dosent youl need to get it really hot again.

Can't control screen brightness
Hi!
I can't control the screen brightness of my laptop. The problem started 2-3 days ago.
I try to adjust it through the keyboard and also through the power panel, but it's always on the minimum brightness...
I've also noticed that the brightness keys on the keyboard aren't functionnig well: when I click on one of them (more brightness or less brightness) it shows me the brightness slider, but it doesn't go up or down through pressing of the keys... only if I slide with the mouse. And still, no brightness adjustment.
Could you please help me?

I have received a new laptop Envy 17 j144us touchsmart as a gift. It is brand new one in the box! with
Screen: 17.3-inch diagonal HD+ BrightView WLED-backlit touchscreen display (1600 x 900)
Video Graphics: Intel HD graphics 4600 with up to 1792MB total graphics memory
the processor, screen, and graphics aren't really what I was looking for ... since I was looking for a new laptop as mine is dying, I was looking for the latest technology.
Now, if I'm not into games much, but I use my lap to work on photoshop , watch movies and TV shows, do a lot of writing and reading/reviews with microsoft office apps or adobe's acrobat and of course browse the net. Is it worth upgrading to :
screen to Full HD WLED-backlit Display (1920x1080) Touchscreen
graphics to 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M Graphics
or it's not really that much of a difference ?
wish I can sell it and buy a new one, but for unfortunate circumstances I can't ...

Screen light auto turn dark when I use program/web with background dark in windows 8.1
Hi there,
I used HP Pavilion dv6t-6000 CTO Quad for 3 years.
CPU: Intel core i7-2630QM
GPU: AMD Radeon 6490m
It build in windows 7 and I manual install ( fresh install ) windows 8. It's fine. But when I upgrade to windows 8.1, it have an issue and I really hate it.
When I use "Sublime Text" ( with background is black ), the screen light is become darker. And when I back to ( e.g: a website with background is white ), the screen turn back to lighter.
I tried many ways, included 4 ways here but it's NOT WORK.
NOTE: When I used Option 1 ( upper )
1. Open PC settings, and click/tap on PC and devices on the left side
2. Click/tap on Power and sleep on the left side, and turn on or off Adjust my screen brightness automatically on the right side under Brightness.
==> It's NOT SHOW button "Adjust my screen brightness automatically". It mean: I have NO built in auto brightness sensor.
I think this issue is about AMD driver or Intel Graphic driver.
Is anybody have idea???

Graphics Card
Hello Sir,
I have a problem with the nvidia graphics card with the new update, as i have some games can not read the nvidia card and only read the intel card,, i tried all ways to make it read the real card but nothing happened.

screen pixelation
Screen pixelates when turned on, looks a bit like the northern lights, can be adjusted out by altering the angle of screen but can returnb with the slightest of movement.
