Hi,
i bought the HP omen 15 laptop yesterday, and i have noticed problems with the backlighting for the centre section of the keyboard... sometimes it doesn't light up or it displays a different colour to what was selected. How can this be fixed?

Symptoms:
Device manager check: it shows the icon and name of NVIDIA Quadro K1100M with an esclamation mark
Clicking on it it displays the status field text as follows:
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43).
Actions tried:
Downloading new setup file: sp70052.exe
Run setup (note: on the last file overwriting one file could not be overwritten because of concurrent use by other process, unknown)
Result:
On first restart the status is like before the reinstallation and, furthermore, the NVIDIA control panel menu cannot be run. It is listed and clickable on right clicking on the desktop window but nothing appears, while it is apparently running among the processes listed in Task Manager.
On subsequent warm restarting the restart jams at the black window with HP logo (with the “type esc to go to the startup menu). So it needed a forced cold restart after which the Nvidia Quadro K1100M disappeared from the available adapters (both in the Windows Device Manager tool and the HP Support Assistant System Information list (only device 1 is listed: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4710MQ CPU @ 2.50GHz).
SO, IN CONCLUSION I HAVE A POWERFUL NVIDIA QUADRO K1100M ON MY HP ZBOOK 15 G2 THAT I CANNOT USE

I have HP Notebook 15-e000se when, when connecting it to my Sony Bravia via miracast . They are getting connected but both of them has black screen.
I've searched everywhere to figure out why these keys arent working. i've unistalled the keyboard and updated drivers, but so far nothing has helped.
I noticed when i wanted to turn the backlight off the keyboard that it didnt do it, it just refreshed the page i was on, so the key is working, just not the functon i want. For example, F5 is supposed to be keyoard light, but only the refresh function works. Its the same with the volume buttons F6/F7/F8 and others like brightness F2/F3. Basically its all the F# buttons that don't work correctly.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?
I received an HP15 laptop for Christmas and the screen has gone white. It was while I was working on a project. I rebooted, removed the battery but neither worked. There's a serial number listed when I remove the battery but there's no model number sticker on the laptop. The only stickers are HP15 and an Intel Core 13 sticker. I"m not sure where to go from here. Does anyone have any ideas?

After installing new OS, I couldn't find any good driver for the GPU, I haven't the 'Recovery' disk so I can't access to the old ones.
I have installed the latest Intel HD graphics and AMD drivers but while I'm playing games, using some programs, watching video, it crashes.
Searching on the net about AMD drivers someone said that is better using the 6700 series drivers. The problem isn't solved.
Sometimes the screen crashes and appear 'Display driver stopped...." due to AMD video card.
Sometimes BSOD with there 2 codes: 0x116 or 0x7E
I tried both modes Dynamic and Fixed with no result.

I just bought an old 17" elitebook off of ebay for cheap and I was wondering what my upgrade options are for graphics cards? I know that in the elitebook your gpu is removable so it could be replaced with another card but what cards would be supported? I would like to install something like a gt 520m, gt 540m or a radeon hd card.
Any video shows only green screen, no picture. Audio works OK. Have tried running all the updates in HP Support Assistant to no avail. Sometimes if I restart the problem goes away, but once the machine as run for awhile the problem occurs again. This is 2nd machine we have tried in same model. Same problem existed in both machines. Office Depot graciously exchanged the first, but if we can't fix this then we will have to return for refund and purchase elsewhere.
I hve been suffering a virus that i could not get rid of, so I contacted HP and obtained the operating system windows 7 professional SP1 and application and driver recovery discs after a couple of atempts and many problems during updates I have a complete factory restore, but i have encountered a problem I cannot play the video clips on facebook any suggestions please
I have an HP laptop with dvd drive, running CyberSuite for dvd playing. I can't get burned dvds to play. When I search the dvd drive, it says no files found.

I'm using a HP Pavilion 17 Notebook and after updating to Win 8.1 my AMD A8-5550M APU with Radeon HD Graphics keeps crashing or "stops working" I get that the system has recovered but I can only continue after I close all open programs. I've tried updating my drivers but it says everything is up to date, so now I'm at a loss as to how to fix this issue?

I've another screen to my laptop and I don't know how to set it corectly. When I've game on one screen and I wan't to go on the internet on the other screen the game go of the screen.
I have AMD Radeon 7600 and Intel HD graphics on my laptop.
I've recently replaced the HDD with an SSD and recovered the original installation of Windows 8.
Post which the system updated to Windows 8.1 and the drivers were upgraded accordingly.
However, I don't see any switchable graphics options on my desktop properties drop down or any option in BIOS for me to enable it.
Allt he drivers are up to date but I dont see any AMD catalyst center that I used to see earlier.
