WEBCAM NOT DETECTED
I'm an amature, not even close to being a tech. The webcam on my pavilion dv6 works fine when I first turn the computer on in the morning. When not in use, I close the lid. When I reopen it, and try to use the webcam, I get a message "No video device detected". If I shut down and restart, the webcam works fine.
I have gone to "recovery" and reloaded the software. I have gone to the HP site and downloaded the drivers (several times for both). I have uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them from the HP site.
I have a second audio/video problem. I can't get the integrated microphones to work. An external mike works fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, several times.
My wife uses Skype to communicate with her family in Europe. Both devices were working fine. I don't know exactly when they stopped responding.
Any help with these will be greatly appreciated.

Graphics Card
I have a Notebook 350 G1 with Windows 8.1 Operation system 64-bit. I don't know what kind of graphiics cards are included. So, I downloaded the drivers for both, AMD card and Intel graphics card. When I launch games, I have a message that I don't have the minimum requirements of graphics card (512 Mb). What should I do?

blank screen
I purchased this laptop about nine months ago however due to circumstances I haven't utilized it for over six months. When I connected it to the mains supply the power light comes on but the screen is completely blank. Do I need to buy a new battery , or are there other steps I can take ?

HP EliteBook 8530p Monitor Resolution
I had to reinstall Windows 7 on HP EliteBook 8530p Notebook. The specifications list two native display sizes: 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) and 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+) but I am maxing out at 1280 x 800 and the monitor is listed as "Generic PnP". I've installed the latest driver from the HP web site for the ATI Radeon HD 3650 GPU. Any suggestions on how to increase the display size?

Video Driver ugrade
I have Adobe Photoshop CC installed and been having probelms accessing the standard Light filters and 3 D grahipic options. After several communications with their support they tell me my graphics card is out dated.
A scan of my system says I am up to date. using Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
Buts that does not apear to be robust.
Now I feel as though the laptop I thought I needed to run Photoshop over my last HP Desktop PC is just as outdated.
Is there a more robust graphics card to download. I tried Intel but when I downloaded something that matched my system it told me it could not install because the PC OEM (HP) will not accept it.
How or where do I get a graphic driver that can handle this.

Update Drivers?
long story short i try to play an online video game on my laptop and it wont let me. it tells me to make sure my video card is using the latest video drivers from the manufacturer.
I go to the hp website and select "auto detect and reccommend drivers" It then says "a customized computer manufacturer driver is installed. The intel Driver Update Utility is not able to update the driver."
It tells me to contact my computer manufacturer for the latest driver for my computer.
The same type of thing comes up when i try to update the drivers throuh HP support assistant.

screen flickering problem
I am having a problem on my HP Envy where every time I need to complete an action the screen flickers. Eg. scrollng, open app, close app etc. How do I resolve this? As far as I can see all my drivers are updated. Please respond to my querie as this issue is iritating me alot. thanks

Screen problem
In my hp 4540s Probook laptop .... the screen be like that in two cases
1- when windwos start up
2- when the screen turned off and back to work agaien
this "line screen" appeear for a many seconds then screen back to work normally

Gray Screen
When we push the power button, we get gray screen. Nothing else. I have tried pressing F11, as well as F8 and F4, and Ctrol+Alt+Del, and there is no response at all. I can't even get the specific model name because it's not on the computer anywhere, only a label reading "HP Touchsmart Notebook." We bought this about 7 weeks ago. It has never really worked right. It tends to get system errors easily, but this gray screen problem began three days ago. Any suggestions?

Switchable graphics option not showing in right click menu after windows 8.1 update
I have a Pavilion 15 e016tx laptop. i have recently updated my laptop to Windows 8.1. After updating i am not able to find switchable graphics option which was earlier shown on after right clicking on desktop. I tried to search in shearch charm but couldn't find.

A year ago, I reset my windows. This removed my webcam driver. I am unable to find it on the HP drivers page and following the steps on the HP help page didn't help either. Does anyone have a link to the webcam drivers?

My HP G6 1250SD screen is broken. Now that is not a problem, i want to keep using the laptop with an external screen.
