plls it's an emergency. yesterday i was looking for making setup for hakintosh on my hp pavilion dv6. i have updated my bios from F.10 to F.29 All's Right Right now! but after when I started chameleon from my usb i've red that i need to type Graphicsenabler=yes when i typed it the process started without a result it stocks at system ...in nanoseconds. however, i restarted my pc and it gift me only a black screen and caps lock is on also it boots but with a death screen. i've tryied a lot of solutions as bios recovery. HDMI and VGA Cable. Win+b. cmos battery... but nothing works pllls I neeed a solution my life is on that pc!!!!! and thanks

Display driver/AMD driver failing
Hi,
I took my laptop into the shop about a month ago to get the screen replaced. And when I got it home it began acting up. My hp pavilion entertainment notebook pc with the product number of dv6-6145 dx, keeps freezing up then the screen becomes staticy with lines going horizontally across the screen. After doing this it shuts down and comes up with a blue screen that saying that the display driver has failed to recover and the system is performing an emergency crash dump. When I do a manual shut down and turn it back on it comes up with a message saying AMD display driver has failed but has recovered. If you could help me in any way it would be fantastic!

Cannot Adjust screen Brightness
Hello
I've just formatted my HP 2000-2a28DX Laptop and installed Windows 7 64 bit operating system. Now the screen very bright and I cannot change the screen brightness. All drivers are installed and updated but I cannot control the screen brightness. the Brightness control buttons on keybord are working but they cannot change the brightness.

HP EliteBook 2730p Intel Graphic Properties Missing
I don't have the (Intel Graphic Properties & Options) in the context menu. I am guessing it is essential, because I can not increase or decrease my brightness at all.
Please point me in the right direction on where to download the right files.

TrueVision HD Webcam drivers up to date, device discoverable, but only black!
Software wise- it says everything should be working! It shows up in the device manager and is enabled with up to date drivers. What else can I do? Any and all camera apps only show black. Can't take a pic, skype, google chat, or anything! Help please!

Out of date drivers?
Whenever I try to play 'Rift' i get a message that pops up telling me my drivers are out of date, I installed a program that automatically installs the latest drivers through the AMD website since at the time one of the display adapters said it was AMD, however when i checked the display adapters under device manager after the download it shows i have the following 2 display adapters
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 series
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6550
Although while looking through the display options under the control panel it says my adapter type is the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6550. Is it normal to have 2 adapters or has an unnecessary driver been installed? Also when i searched the HP website looking for drivers it keep saying there were no results found, any help would be appreciated as I am not very tech savy.

HP G72-B62US Display still not working after screen replacement
My daughter's laptop computer screen suddenly went blank, but not completely black, and since she can connect it to an external display with success I figured it was the LED screen. After replacing the screen the video is still blank. The screen does light dimly, and flash white briefly when booting, but remains blank. This is the same as prior to the screen replacement (laptop can still be connected successfully to external screen). I have tried the hard reset (remove battery and power supply, hold Power button down for 30+ seconds) with no change.

Windows 8.1 - Touchscreen gone
Windows updates for 8.1 were automatically installed and the touchscreen is now gone. When I look for it the PEN and TOUCH is not available. I see the message 'No pen and touch input available for this display' Not sure what the update overlaid but the device is gone. I can't get anything from the HP troubleshooting and there are no other updates in HP or Windows to download. No idea where to go from here..

Pavillion G7 black screen
Hi,
Pc worked properly, and when closing the lid I've heard clicking noise. Next day I got a black screen, I can hear a noise from inside that components work ( not quite sure which one), and there is no any indicator light except for the one on start button. Tried to locate clicking noise and found out it is comming from the hinge right above start button.
Tried to resolve an issue by following directions for black screen troubleshots: turning PC off/ removing battery, trying to start in safe mode, connection external monitor ( did not get the picture on it).
Is there any possibility to recover the data from that pc ?

Touch screen not working
Hi all,
iam having a problem with my touch screen (the touch interface doenst work anymore) and i read alot. i tried to calibrate and restart PC million times and cleaned the screen and went to device manager tried to enable and disable my touch screen and uninstalled my Graphics driver.
i think i have a clue how to fix it because an IT friend of mine said because i downloaded Radeon's latest graphics driver from their website and it doesnt support touch screen, and under Monitor in device manager it says " Generic PnP monitor".
i tried to download the graphics driver from HP's website but it just cant replace the (Radeon (TM) HD 8670M). i even uninstalled with the delete driver option and it wasnt replaced with the AMD driver from HP.
anyway i hope i have provided enough information for any of you nice people to try to help me.
i would really rather not format my PC.

Grapic causing computer to crash
When i connect my EZAIR wireless usb Adapter ( to stream wireless to tv) it causes my computer to crash,
this product worked fine on my old toshiba laptop running windows 7, so i cant understand why it is having this problem with this HP Product.
ANy body got a solution to my problem. it does seem as if it is a graphic problem.

Help setting up multiple external monitors
recently purchased an HP ENVY x360 - 15-u011dx Touch Laptop. Try to set up two external monitors using an HDMI splitter. I can "extend" the desktop, but both screens are showing the same image, which isn't what I want. Can i set up two external monitors with this laptop using a splitter (this was what I was told would work when I purchased the unit along with the two monitors.) Previous laptops had HDMI and VGA ports allowing for two monitors. This laptop (as well as most newer ones) no longer have a VGA port.

Display doesn't work after sleeping.
I have a trouble, after I put my notebook in sleep mode, it doesn't wake up, but the leds are working. I have to shut it down manually from the button, that is not so good.

My screen gets black when I start windows 7 on my Hp Paviliom Dm1 Notebook. Also I connected my pc to an external monitor through VGA cable and then I can see the windows operating system in the external monitor . I did a start-up test and then I got these results:
Memory Test: Passed
smart check: Passed
Short dst: Passed
Optimized DST: Software Error
Battery test: Primary Passed Secondary - NOT Installed
PCI Device check: Passed.

Problems with screen resolution after reinstalling Windows 7 Home Premium

I recently had to wipe my laptop and reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium (created restore disk from Windows). Ever since, I have not been able to adjust my display settings any higher than 1024x768. My only other option on the adjustment range is 800x600. I have updated BIOS (it was already at latest version) and I have searched for updated drivers (system says most recent ones are in use), but I cannot get it to provide me with a more appropriate size selection for my screen; I have to scroll back and forth in Internet Explorer, for example, to see a full screen because it doesn't fit correctly on my laptop screen.
It seems like this should be an easy fix, but I can't seem to find the right trick. Can anyone help?
