I have a hp pavilion notebook,it was working fine yesterday, but today all I get is a black screen,Mine has windows 7.My lights are on and I can hear it load but no screen,I have it hooked to a monitor right now and it is doing fine but I can't pack a monitor with me when I travel so what do I do to fix this.

intel hd graphics error
i have a hp pavilion g6 2004tx laptop. i recently updatedthe system os to windows 7 ultimate 64. i tried to install the hp drivers but im not able to intall intel hd graphics driver.It shows system requirement not met error. So i downloaded latest driver from intel .Thhe driver got installed to intel hd graphics 3000 .So after that i installed radeon 7670m hd graphics driver but my laptop crashed and rebooted into safe mode showing blue screen error bccode 116. Requesting help to solve the problem please

Help with the laptop not booting up for hours
laptop sometimes takes up to 12 hours to boot into life after switching the power button on and some of the lights come on on the kkeyboard surrounding ares? am fulmmuxed! any ideas please?

Using webcam in Skype makes a webcam program start, unwanted
We have a pavilion 15-n077so. When starting a video call in Skype this happens:
- Cyberlink Youcam starts, a program for recording films from the webcam.
Is there a way to use the webcam, in skype, without starting the Youcam program?

CRACKED SCREEN
Hello everyone I have a HP Envy TouchSmart 4-1115dx and the screen is cracked. I dont have any problems with the touchscreen part of the lap top because of the crack, so does this mean i just need to replace the LCD part or do I need to replace the touchscreen part too. Im not to PC savoy so if anyone could help me figure out what i need to replace I would very much appreciate it alot. Thank you for your time.

Notebook 15-d051sm Sleep problem

I installed Win 7 Professionl on my HP 15-d051sm Notebook. I download drivers from official website, managed to configure all, except Display driver. To be precise, everything is fine except Sleep mode. When device goes to Sllep, won't wake. After that, I need to restart. Any idea how to solve this?

HDMI doesn't work
I connected an HDMI cable from my Pavilion to an ASUS LCD monitor. When I connect the cable, the laptop screen blacks out for a second, then comes back, but nothing whatsoever comes up on the monitor. When I disconnect the cable the laptop screen also briefly blacks out.
I do not get any audio either. No audio comes out of my laptop speaker while the cable is connected.
When I go into the display settings, it says it cannot detect another display.
The cable is brand new so I doubt it's the problem.

Strange Issue with Display / Graphics (video attached)
I newly purchased a HP Laptop.
Model No: 15-r033tx
The problem I face is that screen flickers while playing videos, when images changes etc.
I have recorded the problem and created a video.

In this video you can see that when the images of the bags moves screen flickers.
The same behaviour occurs while playing videos too.
Please look into this issue and provide a solution
The issue remains in Windows 7 as well as in Linux Mint.
No flickering noticeable in BIOS screen.
Intel HD graphics, NVIDIA drivers are installed and are up to date.

Can't change brightness
Hi there!!
Well recently i have installed windows 8.1 and installed the latest updates. After that i realized that my brightness change option won't work. I tried using hard buttons, i tried using charm option. It simply gives the following error;
"Windows can't adjust the brightness on this display"
My system specs:-
- HP pavilion g6-2288sx
- windows 8.1
- Intel HD 4000 graphic card
- 4Gb ram
Please help me in this problem.

Switching from integrated to dedicated GPU
Hello everyone,
My config is this: AMD APU A8 6410 Quad core (2.0 gHz) with integrated Radeon R5 Graphics, 8 GB RAM, AMD HD 8500M Series with 2 GB DDR3 running on Win7 Ultimate 64bit. I have got all the necessary drivers installed along with AMD's Catalyst Center. Now here's the thing: I think my Notebook uses ONLY Integrated GPU even if I set an application to High performance in the Catalyst. I figured that out when I tried to play CoD: Black Ops. See, when the game starts on EVERY setting to LOW, i don't even have 30fps. And I think my dedicated GPU can handle that game no problem.
I searched for a solution on HP Forums and elsewhere online, and in the end, the only solution was to switch from Dynamic to Fixed option in the BIOS. Well, I don't have that option in my BIOS.
Then, I even tried disabling the integrated GPU in device manager but then my screen lowers its resolution, and it seems like the system doesn't recognize the integrated GPU.
I don't know what to do. Please, help.

HP ZBook 14, Graphics Drivers and Creative Cloud

I have a ZBook 14 with W7 Ent 64Bit installed.
Adobe Create Cload Desktop app opens to a blank black screen. Un-installing the FirePro drivers sorts the probelm out and the Adobe CC App opens normally.
Background:
The initial setup of my machine was done by our corprate IT guys, and poorly at that, in October 2014. I had to remove the graphics drivers that were installed and download new drivers for both the graphics cards from their respective vendor sites. I then installed the Intel 4400 (v10.18.10.3907) followed by the AMD catalyst (v13.352.1019.0) driver and all was well with my machine. . . . until . . . . .
I formated, reinstalled Windows and now i set with the issue above. I have tried the latest drivers for both GPUs, changed the order of their installation, installed the Intel drivers first, then the AMD driver and then the Intel driver again, reverted back to the original working config mentioned above but still Creative Cloud is just a black window. There ane numerouse threads on this problem and a similar issue that AutoCAD users have had, but even using the suggested driver versions that solved their issues has not sorted my issue.
Over and above the Creative Cloud issue that needs solving, im wondering if any other users or HP staff can shead light on what the sort of Windows Experience Index scores i should be getting. Is this a realliable measure of a correctly setup system? (Scores: CPU=7.1, RAM=7.2, Graphics=5.1,Gaming Graphics=6.5 and HDD=7.9)
I have the 1600x900 display, SSD HDD, and i7-4500U processor.
One thing that i am noticing now is a few black screens durings start up.

HP Probook 4530s Audio Issues Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I'm having an issue with my HP Probook 4530s where sound sometimes won't play. I downloaded the approriate audio driver for my computer. If I click on an application that needs administrator permissions and the User Account Control pops up, it won't play the system sound like it normally does. If I click on the speaker icon on the bottom right and adjust the volume slider it doesn't make a sound. I've also noticed that when I stream any type of video on the internet, the video won't play until the sound works again. Sometimes the video plays with no sound, then the sound catches up. I've tried many differnet browsers but the issue keeps happeneing regarless.
When my computer ran Windows 7, the audio worked fine. Videos always played, and system sounds always executed on cue. My motherboard got replaced at the end of last year due to overheating so I don't think it's a hardware issue. The weird thing is that this issue isn't consistent. One minute the sound could be working flawlessly, but two minutes later the sound just stops working. If you could provide any insight into what the issue is (my theory is that it's the driver) I would really appreciate it.
I could try and capture a video of the issue I'm having and post it on Youtube, but it's difficult since the issue is sporadic. If I do get a video of it, I'll be sure to post the link.
I messed around a bit and when I go under my speaker options under "Effects" and tick the "Disable System Effects" box, I no longer have the issue. The audio quality drops substantially so I would prefer not to have to do this.

Spectre13 and HP Wireless TV Connect
My Wireless Connect does not work with this Notebook. Dongle and TV unit do not link. It works fine with older (win 7) laptops and my Samsung TV. Is this another case of HP not supporting older products on new systems?

Display colorbar Issues
There has been a problem on my display screen.
I was playing a video game on my notebook and I closed the screen to move it else where when I oppened the screen a colorfull ever-changing codebar apeared.
I restarted and repeated the conditions of the accident but the situation doesen't normalize.
I Searched trough internet and received only an indication that it's a sofware problem, wich seams likely since the problem started with the re-loging of the computer.
