Model:15-ro17dx ......When i first brought this it worked for like 1 day..Now it wont work..I deleted stuff in the imaging device..I redownloadedd CyberLink youcam and it keep saying...No webcam detected.I tried everything all the thing i can find on this website.And the recovery won't work..I don't know how to make it work now..In Imagining device it only have HP truevision and the USB Video Device..I want help asap...I've been research for like 1 month..and find the answer...I tried redownloading and troubleshooting..It won't work.

problems with netflix app...help!
my netflix is not working on my new laptop. i click the app and it shows me all of the shows and movies. when i select something to watch, it starts to load the choice but the screen turns green. i can hear the movie playing but the video doesnt show up at all. i use netflix regularly on other devices from the same account and it works fine...i need this resolved asap...please help. any suggestions welcome...thanks in advance!!!

discrete graphics card on my elitebook 8460p
Hi.
im using elitebook 8460p with AMD radeon HD6470m on it.
Actually i need to upgrade or change my graphics card to run some other softwares,
and kinna wondering if its possible to upgrade (change) my graphics card because i heard the graphics card(Radeon 6470m) that i have on my laptop is a discrete graphics dard.
if its possible to upgrade or change my graphics card, is there any specific brand, or model that i have to looking for?

HP Pavilion 15-E076nr Screen Won't Work?? I'm Stumped
I have an HP Pavilion 15-E076nr, it's about 1.5 years old. I never had any problems with it until about 4 months ago.
I was using it for school and somehow managed to crack one of the lcd screen layers. I knew the screen was the problem cause everything looked normal when i connected to an external monitor. (And obviously it had a visible crack in it. lol) So I bought a replacement screen over the internet and installed it myself. The picture was good-as-new and everything worked so I figured my problems were over.
Then I few days ago, after i had been using the new screen for about 3 months, my image display was suddenly really messed up. Most of the screen was gray except about 2 inches across the top that displayed colors and distorted images. I thought maybe I had a messed up the motherboard, or the graphics card was bad, but I connected to an external monitor and everything looked normal...
I thought maybe the screen was improperly installed or something so I unplugged it and reattached it (with the battery and AC out of course). This didn't change anything though... And the next morning when I opened the laptop the whole screen had turned the gray color (see picture). The gray varies in darkness and has little dots. I know it's not the backlight as the screen gets brighter or dimmer when I change the brightness settings.
I asked a few people and someone suggested that it was the LCD screen inverter. When i went to check i couldn't find the inverter behind the screen or underneath it. So where is the inverter on this model? If that is the problem.
I'm hoping i didn't create an even bigger problem when i replaced the screen. :/
I don't think it has annything to do with this, but right before the screen died i had installed an update from Windows 8.1. Someone suggested i try a system restore but it failed to complete... which seemed odd to me.
If anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated. I gotta this this thing back up and running before the spring semester.

Hp Spectre13 screen cracked
After speaking to the consumer tech support helpline I was told my device (A Spectre 13 Ultrabook) was a business product so would need to call business helpline which I did, I sent pictures of the cracked screen and was informed they could see by the pictures that the crack hadn't been cused by us and would collect the laptop and fix it under warranty, fantastic! I then received a phone call to tell me that my device was a consumer product, and would have to repeat the whole process of sending the pictures of the defect to be assessed by the consumer department, who came back with a different result in that it was damage we had caused and would not be fixed under warranty, I was then passed on to the repair department where I have arranged a paid for repair of the device.
Seeing that there are reports of the screen cracking on these devices all over the HP forum is anyone at HP going to do something about this problem?
Please someone Help the repair is going to cost me £280, for a known defect on a £800 device

Black screen after windows logo problem
Hi people, i have the HP Probook 4530s LH306EA and i have been using it for 3 years without any problems but this week after i did a restart on my laptop i got a black screen after the windows logo.
The problem is whenever i install the AMD Display driver it says that there were some errors during the install and the pc freezes and restarts into a black screen...

AMD Wireless Display via Windows 8.1 + AMD A10 processor on hp ENVY m6 Notebook PC C2L91UA#aba
The AMD website declares that if you have an AMD FX, A10, A8, or A6 processor* (the hp m6 1105dx has an A10)
and
if you have Windows 8.1**,
then you already have the AMD Wireless Display feature.
...But how do I access it? I can't find any function, program, or Charm that initiates it. I was told it's supposed to be in
Charms -> Devices -> Project -> Add a wireless display
... but "Add a wireless display" isn't an option in my "Charms -> Devices -> Project" region.
Did hp somehow disable that feature? How do I get it back?

nvidia GTX 850m (344.75) Directx 11.2.
currently nvidia not optimizing game nor supporting (far cry 4, COD ghost) commen error is "stop working and checking sulotion" cause is directx crashig.
also my display is dim whcin i think that only basic intel graphic card is working because nvidia GTX not showing in advance setting of screen resulation.
dxdiag also showing the same.. see images... is it auto switch able mode or what???
i have updated all drivers and BOIS as well...

HP Envy 15 Screen issues
Hello, I have a 5 month old HP Envy 15 model 15t-j100. I've had no problems with it until recently. Over the past two days, the left 1/3 of my screen will flicker. It's most notable in the top left hand corner. You can also see yellow lines down in the tool bar.
Every so often, it will also do this (sorry the quality, the print screen wouldn't capture this). Anyway, both of these issues will go away if I put a little bit of pressure onto the bezel of the screen, so I know it's the screen itself and not the software. Is there anyway to fix this without sending my laptop in for repiar? I'm not currently under warranty anymore. Also there have been no drops, just normal use over the past 5 months. Any help is appreciated.

Gaming graphic glitch - fps and refreshing problem?
So I'm recently having some strange issues with gaming graphics (Skyrim and Witcher 2). Whenever I try to run them, the screen starts glitching and refreshing, making the game unplayable. I already installed the newest drivers and checked installed programs compatibility.

Lines and flickering screen on HP Pavillion dv6-2111sa.
Hello I'm having problems with my laptop screen flickering again, there are horizontal flickering lines and occasionally the screen will go white, this has been happening for a few weeks I think. I have uninstalled both Java and Adobe which seemed to help but the flickering returned (before I'd re-installed them), I still have the problem on safe mode but when I pressed f10 on startup and moved the screen about as I'd been asked to do before there was no flickering. Someone suggested there could be a problem with the wires going from the laptop to the screen- could this be possible?
Any help much appreciated.

HP 15 Display Quality
Ijust bought a new HP 15 and the display is very dim. I have the brightness set as bright as it will go and the display is still hard to see. do I need to upgrade or is there some other way to increase the quality of the display?

HP Omen Screen Flickering
I just purchased a HP Omen laptop. I am seeing a very distinct and very unacceptable flickering during games and sometimes just using the operating system.
Anyone else seen this and have any ideas on how to fix it? I hope it's not hardware or back to HP it goes. I already did all updates including Windows & Nvidia.

EDIT: Found the BIOS update and Intel Graphics update. Running those now but won't have much more time to mess with this until Monday. If anyone else has suggestions or even if you have just seen this issue, please let me know.
EDIT 2: More fun. After the BIOS update, it's saying the included power adapter isn't correct.
