I was looking for a colour saturation option for monitor in Intel's control panel and there's only YCbCr correction. Colour saturation is available only for laptop screen. In monitor settings the "Color" slide is grey, so I can't change it. How do I change colour saturation for external monitor connected via HDMI?

recently i was updating new driver for radeon tm hd 6470.. since the 'switchable graphic' is missing, im scared and uninstall it...(i think i made some mistake when uninstalling the driver)
later i found out that the device manager can't recognize the vga card at all....
the graphic option when i right-clicking desktop also missing...
what should i do? should i re-installing the laptop? i use laptop hp pavilion g4 1003tx , OS Windows 7 32bit

I have a HP Pavillion g7-1330DX Notebook PC and have not seen anyone with this same problem.
When I first turn on my computer the display screen goes bright white just for a second, then I end up with different color horizontal lines. These lines go lower and lower down the screen (and I can see all of my icons behind the lines as they get lower & lower ) and eventually they disappear and then my computer works fine. These lines only come back if I am not using my computer for a long time and it goes to screen saver mode or if my computer is turned off for a long period of time and then turned back on. This problem started a few months after I purchased my computer and at first only covered a small portion of the screen. Over time the lines have grown to now cover the whole screen area.
Anyone got any ideas why this happens and how to fix ??? I don't see any damage to my screen at all. I have never spilled any thing on it so I don't have any idea why or how to fix. Would re installing the graphics driver help??

suddenly my screen turns black and shows VIDEO_TDR_FALIURE (igdkmd64.sys) and restarts again again when i unintall display driver it works fine but i could not able to use graphics softwares(photoshop) and games
currently my os is windows 7 ultimate
i tried installing differnt catalyst control centre version but it doesnot works
i also reinstalled my os but no change

I have pavilion dv6 Notebook, since while ago my laptop screen started get ( black screen ) when i turn the laptop on, specially after my windows showing me the( Welcome ).. and i have ( windows 7 ).
it shows a black screen for more than 60 - 120 seconds, which it takes a time more than usual. The only thing i can see is my mouse arrow during this problem with black screen.
I have tried to take my battery and AC power off, then i holded the power 30 seconds, the i pluged the AC again. but it did not work !
any help about this problem as its still coming up please?

I have a Pavilion DV6-2000ax model. Few days back it was working perfectly but one day its display hanged up so i switched it off by power button. When i restarted it, there was no display but system started with light(like power, volume glows to red). I tried the same after removing and reinserting the battrey but no luck.

I have hp probook 450 g1 with AMD Radeon HD 8750M
but it's out of date and i can't update it to the last catalyst version because i have to download it from here not from AMD sites becasue it has to be modified for HP users like us or it will not function properly!
so the question is....When are you going to provide us with the latest catalyst update which is 14.9 and 14.11 beta!!
we still have the old 13 version!!!!

The problem: The touchscreen on my touchsmart 14 sleekbook doesnt work.
A couple weeks ago I had this weird problem where the clicker/mouse/arrow thing kept going up to the righthand corner of the screen and I couldnt get the mouse back down even though the scroll pad was working.
I kept having to restart my computer to make it work
Now the touchscreen doesnt work at all and I dont know how to fix it, and yes my computer has been turned off an turned on since then many times

Using an HP envy laptop with windows 8. I'm trying to disable the touchscreen. The 'HID-compliant touchscreen driver' thing is not appearing in the human interface dropdown. I've done 'show hidden icons'. So, basically 2 questions.
1. Is there another way to disable the touchscreen? Hotkey or something?
2. Why isn't the touchscreen device showing up in the human interface device dropdown? There's 3 things (amongst others) at the top of this dropdown saying 'HID-driver compliant device'. Is it one of these?

Hi, I have a HP Pavilion x360 and my touch screen has stopped working. I've tried the following steps:
1. On the Windows Start screen, type "Tablet PC Settings" to open the Search charm, and then select Tablet PC Settings from the list of resuts.
2. On the Display tab, click Setup.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to identify your screen as a touch screen.
4. Tap the screen to see if it responds.
But the touch screen still doesn't work. And I've also tried:
But there is no Enable option. Just update, disable, uninstall, scan for harwae changes or properties.
Any other solutions???

first of all my laptop is : HP Pavilion dv6-6160se Entertainment Notebook
to the problem now
A few days ago my laptops screen started out of a sudden shutting down/turning black( no lights at all ). This was happening while using the laptop at random. The screen had no lights, and if i use a flashlight on it there is nothing. like its turned off completelly.
Before this happens. Ths behavior varies. Sometimes it flickers from my desktop to a black screen then back on and some times not. Most of the times screen changed to a radom color (green mostly) then becomes black/shuts down.
NOTE: The laptop keeps runing, i can hear the videos playing so it probably isnt a gpu chip or gpu issue , music and games.
I searched the web for all kind of reasons that this could happen and tried some of the fixes .
Here are everything i tried and all or the details i could accumulate in past coupe of days:
1. If the screen flickers , blacks out and then turns back on i get a message that gpu drivers have stopped working and recovered ( on both amd and intel ).
2. If the screen blacks out, on rare ocasions if you close the laptop lid and let the laptop go to sleep , when waking up screen works again ( noticable due to screen moving)
3. I tried installing 4 different drivers all with clear install. ( didn't work)
4. I tried to to recover system with restore point. ( didn't work)
5. I tried to lower the screen brightness. ( didn't work)
6. tried this trick:

7. Since on of the rare fixes requires to move the lid i tried shaking the screen a bit or pushing it slightly to different directions. This actually does the trick and turns the screen back on ( i am right now typing this after using this "trick"
So, with this one as a hint there are a couple of stuff i have in mind but i am not sure and need help since i am not a technician.
a) There is a loose LCD cable and when i type a little vibration moves it and ends up in a black screen.
b) I read that if you use a flashlight and you cant see your desktop it means its a bad inverter.
c) Can the inverter have a lose cabe instead of the lcd ?
That's all the feedback i could give you that i can recall now.
Currecntly the screen looks ok ( maybe its the certain angle it has after i moved it so i would aprecciate a fast reply before it goes black again 
EDIT: Tried to play a game for a few mins and i got the black screen again. Closed the lid so the laptop goes in sleep mode then opened it and it worked. Just for the records.
EDIT#2: Just tried to play a game again. got the blackscreen, shaked the screen a bit and it worked but for the 1st time i get the message " Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware" , Can it be that its the GPU after all or maybe drivers?
EDIT#3: Tried to play a game again and it seem to trigger the issue . ( i am currently running the laptop with only the intel drivers installed)

I have an HP ENVY 15 (k046nd) Notebook with the following specs:
-Intel i7-4510U (2.0Ghz)
-12 GB ram
-Nvidia GeForce GTX 850M 4GB
-Windows 8.1 64bit
I'm not a hard gamer but I play League of Legends. My laptop is a relatively new one and with the specs described above should probably be getting 60+FPS when playing League of Legends. I was actually getting approx 90-100 FPS at max. settings (FULL HD) but after 1 month of use the FPS fell to around 40-50. Of course that didnt change my gaming experience but it raised concerns about what has actually happened. I tried searching for windows settings and setting all parameters to high performance but nothing changed.
I am not sure where to focus my attention to, GPU issue, or another laptop issue that causes my GPU not to work properly.
Do you think that somehow a program or application underclocks my GPU?

I'm connecting my HP 250 G3 laptop to my TV via HDMI, but the display on the TV is not showing as full screen, it is showing with a very big black board around all sides.
When I connect my other laptop to the TV via HDMI, it shows as full screen

Hi! Like many other users, I'm having problems with my AMD 5470 drivers. Whenever I install them the screen goes black on startup. I've tried many solutions, including a fresh reinstall of Windows, but the problem persists.
I'd like to know the solution to this problem asap, as I need my AMD gpu to run games and such.
I'm running Windows 7 on 64 bit.
It'd be easier to just give me a bullet list of all the things I need to do. My head is tired from all these failed attemps.

On the Intel website, the newest version of the graphics driver for Intel HD graphics 4000 graphics card is clearly available, however I'm unable to install it because it's not from "the computer's manufactured company." I then go onto the HP website and find that the newest version of the driver is from 2012 and updating it to that version doesn't help me one bit.
like many other people I'm trying to play Black Ops 2, the game runs like silk after loading but the reticle on guns is missing and the load time for everything (multiplayer, campaign, zombies) is over 7 minutes while it should normally take seconds.
I've been told that it's the problem with the graphics card and that it's not up to date. Well there, I'm trying to download one but HP doesn't have it on the website! What should i do?

after installing windows7 thin pc video is non working (low size and resolution).
Looking to device manager confilcts are shown. The video driver seam installed propertly.
Video are so bad that is difficult to recongnize the screens texts !
