When I put a DVD into my CD/DVD drive it will not play. Usually Cyberlink PowerDVD 12 starts automatically and it is not now doing so. The software was on my laptop when I bought it and I would like to be able to watch DVD's and Bluerays. How do I get the software working properly again?

My Display Has Split Into 4
I am having a lot of problems with a new HP Pavilion laptop. The laptop is brand new. It's my partners uncles. He doesn't like Windows 8 so I reverted back to 7. Installed drivers. Updated it. Installed Norton 360. More updates. Then I restarted the laptop and the screen has split into 4 un even segments. Not tiles but looks more broken. I've tried to restore the laptop to before the last update and no change. I then tried to uninstalling the Display Driver and restarting. No change. Surely the Hardware hasn't packed in on a week old laptop? And could I be to blame in any way? I have changed my own laptop back to windows 7 and had no problems.
I'm baffled.

pavilion dv6-1355dx screen goes black
My pavillion dv6-1355dx will run for days on end then when using it, the screen goes black and will not come back on without a manual restart using the power button. Then it may work for several more days without a repeat. I get no blink signals with the caps lock led nor the num lock led.
Am I looking at a screen beginning to fail or is it more complicated?

HP G62-340US Notebook full red color screen upon boot up
Greetings,
I have a HP G62-340US Notebook that had worked wonderfully until now. Upon reboot, I get red screen with four to six vertical lines. I thought it might have been virus or something and have cleaned the computer several times yet no result or changes. The red color is more prominent when I use the internet to access videos. The black colors turn into red and fuzzy in the video. Sometimes some videos are beautiful and sometimes the black in them turns into red. Is it a hardware issue or software? Do I need to replace the bulb, screen or some software issue that I am unable to resolve without your assistance? Would appreciate any assistance. Thanks!

upgraded to win 8.1 and video card not working right
not enogh resolutions to use solid works the way it should or atleast the way i would like it to be.
need drivers for it .
the system said it is not working.

hp Pavilion g6 1207 er, как бы поломалса жосткий диск (ето сказали в ремонтном сервисе) заменили жосткий диск, но после замены диска, дройвера на видиокарты неустановлюются тоесть на одну AMD Radeon HD 6520G (но у меня должно бить AMD Radeon HD 6520M и AMD Radeon HD 6740M их нету ) при установки и в безопасному режыми не помогло, пишет: устройство сообшило об ошыбке Windows отключило ето устройство. а пры включении програмы AMD VISION Engine Control Center - Графический драйвер AMD не установлен или функционирует неправильно. Установите для устройства AMD соответствующий драйвер AMD. все драйвера установливал с офицеального сайта AMD и HP не помогает што делать??? помогите пожалуста

Display Driver
I have a HP Pavillion 15-n219nr Notebook PC. While playing poker on facebook, a error message appeared saying "Display Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered". When it happens, the screen freezes and i have to do a task manager to get out of it. It has happend three times, but i wanted to know what can i do to prevent it from happening again.

my available graphic memory was around 1798MB. Today i upgraded windows from 8 to 8.1. Now the memory has become 256MB. and am not able to instal graphic driver because of low memory, Can you please tell me how to regain thet memory?

HP ENVY TS m6 Sleekbook dedicated video ram
Hello, I have an HP Envy TS m6 Sleekbook (Product number E0K41UA#ABA) with 16gb memory that I installed. I would like to change my settings to dedicate some memory (either 512 or 1024mb) strictly to video in order to play a high quality game. So far I have been unable to find a way to do this, either through my regular settings or Bios. Is this possible on my computer, and if so, how would I go about it? thank you!

15-d069wm Player? Loud CD drive. Refurbished.
Hi, I'm just curious as to why this computer won't play dvd's and there is no player? That is just plain stupid. Especially since I told the salesman that is what we wanted this refurbished thing to do. So, what is the recommended player for this system and how come I can't find it on the site, I want to know what it regularly goes for as we should have got a good deal for buying someone elses busted computer, but we took the chance and are still trying to figure everything out on it. Plus the drive, the cd drive makes a LOT of noise while spinning, is this normal for this model? I've never had this on any other computers, do I need to take it for repair? Thanks in advance!
Whoops, sorry it's 8.1 and I only use Chrome browser. It's a HP 15 Touchsmart Notebook PC 6.0GB memory 500 GB drive with Intel i3-3110m CPU 2.4ghz.

Black screen upon start up - Falied Windows Update 11 November 2014
I did the Microsoft Windows updates, using Windows Update, released on Tuesday 11 November for my HP Spectre Touchsmart 15-400ea. Since it did a reboot is has sunsequently failed to start and I get a black screen. No attempts to do a "blind" boot into the BIOS has worked - all the components are workign except the screen.
I tried to restore the hard drive using imy desktop PC and then things really went wrong. get nothing from teh screen although all components appear to be working properly
Why have HP/Microsoft allowed an authorised installation into my £1,000+ Ultrabook that effectively makes it a lovely useless paperweight?
Tried to contact HP - only allowed to contact them during the working week; presumably so they can give me a huge charge to make it worth their while to fix something that should never have gone wrong.
I have not done anything wrong so how will I put right without costing me the earth or having to replace the laptop?
Totaly frustrated and angy with Microsoft and HP.

HP Probook 450 G0 vs HP 250 G2 backlight screen
I have a 450 probook for a year, and I am happy with it. Recently I have bought laptop for my mum, 250 G2, very similar laptop to a 450 probook. One thing I was disappointed, 250 G2 screen do not have the same light intensity (backlight) as the 450 probook. Is that a factory mistake or they are build with a different backlight intensity screens?

Touchscreen not working - HP ENVY TouchSmart Ultrabook

HP Pavilion TouchScreen - screen not working, still under warranty ...
I have a 10 month old HP Pavilion TouchScreen. (my daughters notebook). The touchscreen is totally broken and just jumps around. The machine is still under warranty but I can't find a way to get to HP support. Anyne know how to get a screen under warranty fixed ?? (anyone from HP reading this, please let me know ASAP).
