HP Pavilion G6 1350SD Dedicated GPU(7450M) only runs on Intel HD Graphics 3000 (Won't switch)
Hello there!
I own this laptop for 2 years and still never had my dedicated videocard working. It didn't even work when I bought it off the store o.O so basically i got quite sick of it and tried to get it all fixed up, so I went through everything I could think of, just everything that "Might" fix the problem.
I tried all of this in Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.
I've set the videocard options in the bios to both fixed and dynamic. Neither works.
All of the drivers have been installed, including the latest AMD Apu driver. (I tried the official one from amd.com and the one from the HP support centre)
The graphics settings for both my Intel HD Graphics and my AMD Radeon HD gpu are set to maximum performance.
Disabling the HD Graphics 3000 driver so it could only run on the AMD gpu didn't work either. (Actually, everything stopped working in an instance;p)
Installing an older driver didn't work either.
AC/DC has been plugged in the whole time (This should have effect when settings in bios are set on "Fixed". This was not the case)
I've tried a few more things but it's getting a little bit too long to read;p
But yeah, anyone else has any other kind of solution?
It should've been working by now, after every possible option being tested...

Multi GPU update problem
Hi i use a switchable graphics or what is called ''enduro'' and whenever i update it, the option "Configure Switchable Graphics" seem to be broken and shows amd web page instead.. i updated it too many times with the latest drivers but the problem is still the same. It feels like its being ignored and the only solution is the manufacture version which is not updated since 2011. I need newer version thats compatible with my ''enduro'' graphics.. thanks
note: i contacted amd support and installed all new amd updates and still no help.

Update for Graphics Drivers
I have a HP Envy m6 Notebook with
Product No. : D9H73PA
BIOS: F.26 - 05/14/2014
Graphics card: Intel HD Graphics 4000 and AMD RADEON HD 7670 M
Processor: Intel core i7-3632QM
Ram: 8Gb
OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit
The problem i am facing is that i cant find update to the graphics drivers for my notebook on the HP website. The latest updates that i can find in the driver section for my norebook on HP website is dated back to 2012. Has HP released any updates to my graphics driver after that?
I have tried to manually download graphics drivers from Intel website and AMD website. But if i install the driver from Intel website for Intel HD Graphics my AMD card cant detect it and gets non-functional. Also if i remove the driver originally provided by HP for my Radeon Graphics Card and try installing new drivers from the AMD website then it cant detect my Radeon Graphics Card.
It is a huge problem as most of the games like Max Payne 3, Tomb Raider 2013, Skyrim 5 and many other is not getting supported by the AMD Graphics Card because of the outdated drivers. I will be highly grateful if you can give me links for updated versions of the drivers supported by my HP notebook and tell the process about how to get it installed.

Issues about Graphics
Hello, I have a problem about graphics. I have pavillion dont know what model exactly. My laptop's graphics is not detected (Nvidia) and on dxdiag it shows intel graphics HD. Don't know if this is good. I did the global settings on nvidia control panel but still the same.

HP Pavillion x360 picture too small when connected to hdmi.
When my laptop is connected to my monitor the picture doesn't fill the screen. I have the latest intel graphic driver installed. Is there any way to fix this?

Are all HP Envy17-t3000 & 17-t3200 Radiance screens?
I'm looking at a used ENVY17 but need help. Can someone please tell me about the Radiance screen....was that an option on the ENVY17- t3000 & t3200 lines? If it was how do I find out if it is a Radiance display? Are all 1080p in the ENVY 17-t3000 and the 17-t3200 line Radiance displays...as the one I'm looking to buy is 1080p.

My HP Pavilion won't connect to my TV using HDMI
Hi,
I currently have a HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15-n090sa Notebook PC. I've been using it since Christmas last year. I've recently moved to university and now my laptop won't connect to my TV. Before I left, during the summer, it was fine. Now it won't even connect to other TV's. I've tried multiple HDMI cables and it makes no difference. They definitely work as I used the same HDMI cables on my friends laptop and it connected to my TV and so does my PS4, so the issue isn't with the cable or TV. I tried my laptop on my friends TV too and that didn't work but his does. He also has a HP Pavilion but not the same model.
Basically I'm wondering what to do and how to fix it. Please help.

Broken Screen on HP Pavilion G6 laptop
Hi,
I am looking at buying this screen Hp Pavilion G6 Screen. It is the cheapest I can find online and they are offering a free screwdriver.
I want to know if it is the right screen for me.
My other question is if I can find a link to a good replacement instruction because I am planning on replacing the screen myself.

playing mini dvd's
I have a HP Envy m6 and am trying to play mini dvd's (home videos from sony camcorder)....I put them in my dvd drive and nothing happens. When I click on the drive, Power DVD pops up and says i don't have the supported media to play this dvd. Any suggestions on what I should do? I'm so leary of downloading software for virus reasons. I really want to play these dvds and burn them to normal dvd's. Thank you.

HP Envy 17 3D | Switchable Graphics
Hello, I did a fresh install on my HP Envy 17 3D notebook and I am trying to veiw 3D videos. Currently, it is using the intel graphics card, how to I switch to the AMD grpahics card? I know there is probably a simple answer to this but sadley I have not yet found it. I installed all the drivers for both the AMD graphics card and the intel graphics card.

HP Pavilion TouchSmart n013dx - Screen Issue
Having an issue with my screen. Bottom right hand corner is just dim. Its like a shadow on the lower corner. Any ideas on a fix ? Or does this call for a new screen ?

Sadly, there are no affordable (logically cost effective) external graphic-cards available to laptops in general... kind of strange, when theres probably a "billion dollar" market share ready to be taken . Volume and brightness bar
Hi!
Notebook: HP Pavilion dv6-6169er
Problem: I have just installed Windows 7 professional, after installing all drivers (bios, video, audio, touchpad etc - all standard drivers) there are no bar appearing when i press F9-F10 (volume bar) and F2-F3 (broghtness bar) - there were bars before for sure (volume bar with Beats icon and bar itself). Functionally it works, but no visual appearing.
Also, if you are watching a video on YouTube and pressing volume up and down on keypad (F9-F10)- the volume is changing, but the indication under video itself is freezing.
I have tried many times to reinstall audio driver but it doesnt solve the problem. Please help. Thanks!
