Issue:
While scrolling the screen with the finger instead of moving, whole text get selectted.
(in firefox, word doc, or any other app)
How do i bring back normal behavior of touch scroll.
I heard that I need to install another driver but dont know which one.
I have HP Pavilion 15 p000su with HDMI port and tried to connect it via HDMI-VGA cable i bought and it didnt connect.Can't Indentify it(find it in the screen options).I need it for work also tried it at home to connect it with my TV with the same cable and still not finding it... 
I'm really not much in this cable things and asked a guy who told me about this HDMI-VGA cable.He also tried to connect it with 2 cables one vga and one hdmi with some adapters, but the projector wasnt connecting.The drivers are correct and everything else is fine.Any suggestions?

I have an HP Pavilion DV5 entertainment notebook I bought used. Worked gret until I cracked my screen by shutting my headphones in it. So with a cracked screen, was left to using external monitors, which quit working one day (I think after an auto graphics update). Running Win7 by the way. In my trying to fix, I was able to get it going on TV via HDMI and then again on same external monitor very briefly. Then I couldn't get it to pick up on either. I had read here to uninstall the graphics but was scared to do that so in my not so bright mind I decided to disable the graphics card thinking it would force it to pick up the *old style* VGA monitor driver, however, now I have no graphics at all and remember a cracked screen so I can not see anything. I have a small square I can see and that was how I fix it temporarily above. I have tried to go into BIOS to reset there but since I can't physically see the steps I am unsuccessful at doing this. I have another win7 machine I am on but different brand and apparently the steps are different as I tried to blindly reset the driver in BIOS but that didn't work either. Any help? I had in my temp being able to get in and see in that square installed TeamViewer on that computer as well as my now laptop and it does boot up and log into Teamviewer but I can't override the graphics nor install anything on it so that hasn't been successful either. It just has messed up blue and orange graphics even with connecting via TeamViewer. Any ideas that might help me? Screen replacement for this one is $200 so not wanting to spend that. I have tried hard reset of computer, resetting that watch type battery, etc. Could I disable down to the graphics card and reset it there or no? What about buying an external graphics card or even putting in a win7 disk? Please help. I have tons of stuff on thsi computer I really am not ready to lose yet or I would have already tried a new install but didn't figure that would fix the graphic disabled either.
I have an HP 2000 laptop that had been working fine until this past weekend. The screen started to flicker. Between the flickering, I can see the resolution changing. A temporary fix was to uninstall the driver for the AMD Radeon HD 6310. If I re-install the driver, the flickering re-appears.
I've googled this issue, but no one seems to have a good solution. Has anyone experienced this problem and can offer a good solution?

Hello I have a problem with my laptop. I had finished replacing my lcd screen (622571-001) with a new one. I also changed the inverter cable since it looked bad and got a new one. I turn it on the backlight goes on but there is no image showing on the screen. I connect it to the monitor to make sure if its not the mother board or the video card and it works fine. What could be the issue that im having?
My original Dv7-3065dx screen went blank with the back-light still going. Every so often, it would work for a second, then go blank again. so i changed the cable and screen. The new screen worked, except now all the blacks, are super blue! So, of course i thought i got a bad screen, so got another one, but this time it seemed even worse! Upon turning it on, the windows symbol, even steaked blue across the screen, then same thing, all blacks, super blue!
I do want to mention, just in case, the fact that i purchased after market screen, from Amazon, for like $85, that had a converter cable on the back running from the left side connect to the right side connect, so i could connect on the right side.
Could these cables on the back of the aftermarket screens be causing this super blue problem?
I have check connections, to make sure it is pluged in like it should be.
External monitor works fine.
Also, i have already dissassembled the entire laptop, and cleaned the fan and re-thermo'ed the cpu! Runs alot cooler, screen works, but all the blacks, are still super blue, with occasional blank screen period.
What's next?

Currently I use 15" external monitor on HP G72-b30SM.
Would like to know what is the maximum resolution "output " of graphic card for external monitor. Laptop has VGA and HDMI.
For example I would like to use: Benq GW2765HT - 27", 2560x1440 px.
Will be any diffrence in ram or/and proccesor usage? I use Indesign, Photoshop, Lightroom and sometimes Premiere.

Any idea what could be causig me to have a black screen after the welcome logo finishes and my computer goes to the homepage aka start page. The black screen only last for like a minute with my mouse pointer showing, and then my icons and background and everything comes in just fine after that. I'm honestly thinking the HP On Screen Display could be causing this, that or the HP Quick Time. I'm not positive. If anyone who knows what they are doing and could help me I would really appreciate it. Thank You. I have updated my graphics card, and it still shows the black screen for that minute, I'm not sure if this could end up being a major issue or what.... but yeah I need HELP.
The display of my hp pavilion 15 N 043ee laptop is extremely dim. I'm unable to see anything on the screen unless I shine a flashlight onto it, and even then I can barely see. When I connect it to an external monitor it works fine. I restarted it and hit f8 to access the bios screen and it's also dim there as well. My laptop is only a few months old and this is very dissapointing. Please advise me on how to fix this issue. Thanks

My HP Pavillion dvr-1200 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC has a huge problem. It will not display anything other than a set pattern of rotating block colors -it goes from red to blue to green to a shadow sort of grey wih verticle lines, each lasting about ten secords, than repeating over and over. You can hear the computer starting up, and you can get it to the start page by knowing when to press enter and when to scan your fingerprint; this is as far as I can get without seeing. I've had the problem for about two months; the unfortunate thing is after about a week, I decided to hook up a external monitor to it, and got a full picture, with everything but the screen display working great. Unfortunately, in excited haste, I decided it had to be a graphics driver issue, which would just mean an update or a completely new set of drivers. Great. But I accidently deleted the drivers I had before I uploaded new ones, and the extrnal screen I was using went blank. Now I have no idea about what to do! Any suggestions...?

However now after every one hour my display freezes showing just patches of different colour and I'm forced to restart to fix the problem. This problem happens every hour or so without any warning. Please suggest a solution.
