HP Envy 15 Broken HInge
The right hinge on my HP Envy 15 is loose and causing the bottom to buldge. I have never dropped it and am not sure whether it is simply missing a screw or what the problem is. This seems to be a very common issue with the HP Envy and I was wondering how I can get it fixed. Thanks

Brightness control Fn not working HP elitebook 8440p
I can't control the brightness of my scrneen. My Fn button works with all the other actions accept for the brightness control. There is also no brighness adjust pictogram in windows mobility center. The Fn button is not broken. I've installed the bios update and the hp quicklaunch driver. My system is: Elitebook 8440p Windows 7 professional sp1 64bit. HP support assistance doesn't give any sollutions.

HP G62-b32EO - Looking for working drivers
Hi
After i install new Win7 i have a problem with video drivers for my laptop.. I know that i have ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 (switchable), but ATI's autodetect is founding for me only driver to 4200 series. I try many Catalyst installers, but i have always blue screen or error with graphic drivers when system is restarting, and Win is installing 4200 series back.. I also install bios driver and SP1, but i have still the sam problems...
Can someone help me? I can't play in many of my favorite games (terrible frame rate in most of them)

I have a problem with my hp pavilion dv6-2121eo.
When I start it I get a black screen, and the hard-drive led isn't lit up.I have had it for months and I just read about a reset, and it actually worked!
But now it's the same after like 2 weeks, and i tried the reset like 4 times and now it doesn't work 😢 why does it Do this, Is it A Virus or....?

Touch Screen not working
I have purchased HP 15-r013TU touchsmart notebook last month only. It has windows 8.1 OS. From the first day istself, when i start pc, touch screen works fine, but after sometime it suddenly stops working. This happens again and again.
It again starts working when i do any of the following
1. Restart or
2. Go to sleep and wake up again or
3. Close lid and open again or
4. After waiting for 10-15 minutes it starts working again
But again after few minutes it stops. I tried for win 8.1 updates, but problem continued. I also tried for full system rest frok HP dealer, yet the problem continues.
I tried googling and found many people are having this problem but could not find solution.
Can anybody tell what could be the solution?

Touch screen action setup
How can I setup my HP Envy's touch screen to click when I touch the screen? By default it only moves the mouse to the location when I touch the screen, then it clicks after I take my finger off the screen. How do I make it that it clicks right when I touch the screen?

TX2000 TX2500 Black screen of death...
Hello, i bought my HP 2 years ago and the screen went black tonight.The number lock and caps light blinks. From what im seeing all over the internet this is a very very very common issue. After paying $1000.00 for a laptop im not sure why such a common issue that hasnt been solved.
Anyone have a fix, other then replace. Any recal anyone knows about? Ive seen thousands of post online with the same issues....
any help is needed. need for work ASAP

HP Pavilion dv7-4169wm boot up with black screen
I have laptop listed above. For the past week I hasn't not been able to get it in. It sounds like its starting but the screen stays black, no POST or BIOS or even lights up. Windows 7 is the OS. Cap lock light is on and flashes every second. Have already tried a hard reset, F8 BIOS trick, and removing and switching the RAM (I was grounded). I am out of options. HELP

pavilion m6 hinge
I am having the same issue as everyone in this forum and did not know that everyone else is having the same issues. I purchased the Pavilion M6 laptop less than 2 years old, but it is definitely out of warranty. I would love to get this issue resolved because I am really in need of my laptop. The sad thing is I could not wait and was forced to purchase a new HP Touchscreen desktop TODAY because I could not use my laptop screen because the hinges came loose and Now the laptop screen is just reflecting lines and I am unable to close the screen. I would love for someone from HP to contact me as well because I am a great supporter of your product but this laptop issue has me very very worried and concerned. Can someone please resolve this issue for me. I would appreciate any assistance that can be offered as well. Thank You.

Graphics card keeps crashing, but I need to keep it on fixed mode!
Hi, I have a HP Pavillion DV6-6B55EA with a Radeon HD 6490m.
I play a lot of games, and using the switchable graphics mode on games like minecraft makes it run absolutely awful. I used fixed mode but when I'm doing other things, (youtube and small spec games etc) it crashes every 2 minutes.
I've tried to update the graphic drivers but there isn't any new software.
