Hi there,

The monitor on my HP recently began malfunctioning. A few minutes after start-up, the screen becomes vertical gray and black lines and/or goes black. It does not seem to be overheating. What could be happening here?

I have an HP 15-g011nr Notebook PC that is just over a week old. For some reason, when I turn it on, after I enter my password, the screen goes black. I know the screen is good because I can access the password screen and task manager just fine. How can I fix this black screen? Please help. I have online classes and all my work is saved to my laptop.

Hi, I have a sort of problems when I tried to reproduce HD Videos.

 

When I tried to reproduce 1080p 60fps videos with any program (Quicktime, Media Center, VLC) the video reproduce with lag or it stopped and jumped further in the video.

 

My laptop is a HP DV6 7014NR with windows 7

 

I also reinstalled the Nvidia, Bios and Graphics drivers but it do not help.

 

 

 

(I must tell that in the past the reproduce well, unfortunately I format my computer and they never reproduce well again)

Chromebook Model: HP Chromebook 11

 

Trying to connect to wireless accessories. Machine has ability to connect via Bluetooth and is Bluetooth enabled. When trying to add accessory,my wireless items aren't popping up.

Does this mean that my wireless items aren't compatible with my chrome book?

 

Wireles devices I'm trying to connect: Apple keyboard A1314 and Apple trackpad A1339. According to Apple's website, both devices have bluetooth.

Hi, can anybody actually solve this for me. Running vista home premium sp2 hp pavillion entertainment pc dv9605ea. Amd proceesors. 

This pc came with quickplay originally but now has been removed and replaced with dvd play ?

I've been to the webcam problem pages on the hp site got nowhere.

I've downloaded this and that from hp site, all supposed to either repair or update drivers and blah blah blah

nothing is working

tried to download cyberlink youcam but get told no webcam detected so instalation is stopped OR that this software is for vista machines ??.......which i am

Who can give me the solution to this problem without making me go over the same old troubleshooting tips that are not getting my webcam fixed.

Anybody fancy remotely fixing for me...........surely i'm in the right place for this help after all this is experts day !

even i reinstall th FB video calling, unable to solve it...

but skype video calling is working perfectly,, but i cant do same on facebook video calling,, please help me out from this sucking error...

Laptop screen was damaged resulting in a blank white screen. Underlayment was replaced under extended warranty. Now there are vertical lines on screen and they are getting worse with time. Any quick fixes possible? I am a college student and cannot be without laptop.

Hi I have Windows 8 pro instaled in HP Pavilion 15-n240tx  and when I try to install the NVIDIA graphic driver it says that I need to install Intel(R) first. When I try to install the HD graphic drivers from the site it says no minimum requirements to install the driver. How can I solve tis issue

I have an HP Pavillion g series where I am getting a 5 by 5 array of screen images (blurred) on the screen.  Laptop works ok using external monitor. Have fitted a new screen but still u/s. Tried to change video settings but it won't allow changes. Have run all the memory tests and ok. Screen can work ok for hours, puzzled. anyone can help please?

I was trying to update my dv7-6143cl graphics driver because I couldn't run a plugin for my DJ software and, instead of updating the driver, AMD "broke" the driver so I can no longer access "switchable graphics options" when I right-click, and can't increase my resolution above 1024x768 (which is very cumbersome to navigate), and gladly installed a video game client. AMD/HP might want to check this out, as it is very frustrating...

 

I've spent several hours searching forums and trying to re-install drivers with no luck.

Hi, my laptop HP G62 freezes suddenly during usage. Neither detects mouse or keyboard. The display remains as it is. I have to remove the battery or long press the power button to get it an improper shut down and start once again. It's freezing at intervals such as 1 or 2 hours sometimes just in 5 minutes after I start. Can anyone say what can be the problem. Recently I had my graphics issue which I had repaired. Does that issue related to this problem. Or is it any other.

Hello everyone.

Thank you for taking time to read this post.

It may be any one of you faced such problem as described below and solved.

My notebook is HP ENVY 17 Leap Motion SE NB PC (Product:F1J39AV,Serial:5CG3480T6Y).

After formating there were installed Windows 8.1 x64 Professional.

This notebook has 2 graphic adapter:

a) Internal : Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600

b) NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M.

So after installing second device driver it became Black Screen" !!!

But when I connect notebook with TV monitor by HDMI cable I can se my deskop.

I tried everything to fix this error: I updated driver,then install avaible driver for this device,but... nothing !!!

I want to know doest it fabrication mistake ?

Or how can I fix this problem ???

Hello everybody

 

My HP Pavillion dv-4165dx Entertainment Notebook has had a motherboard replacement after a fault.

 

Unfortunately, the monitor now intermitently turns completely white briefly, or black for long periods of time.

 

Device manager shows that the display adapter (AMD M880G with ATI Mobility radeon HD 4250) is up to date.

 

However, it lists the monitor as "Generic PnP Monitor"

 

I would be really grateful if anybody could know if this is the likely source of the problem.

 

Could anybody provide a link to the correct driver for the specific dv-4165dx monitor, as I'm having real difficulty finding it online.

Pavillion dm3-1024ca, Windows 7 - 64 bit. 4 gb. memory. AMD Neo x 2x dual core processor L335. 1.6 GHz. Getting a blue screen and occasionally a red screen. When this happens and I move the screen back it goes away. If I move it forward it comes back. To get rid of it I read to keep exiting and starting until it clears. This works. Concerned as to what is causing this and can it affect my hard drive?

MY laptop is only a few months old but has deleloped a black shadow at the bottom right hand side of my screen.  Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
