Troubles with videocard dv6-6179er

After installing and using win 8.1 on my notebook, i decided to install AMD Catalist Center, because before it screen driver was installed automatically by windows, so, after installing driver for my Radeon HD 6500 M from official site , notebook starvated with black screen. After that I tried to install drivers from your site and from official site on win 7, win 8 . Results: installation process... "display driver is installing" screen should turn off three or more times, but after seccond extinction notebook is starvated. And next starting up is not successful, asking to recover system, after that process no video drivers on notebook is located.

More, I tried to recover system to factory parameters from CD, but after full recovery system is not started like after the installation video drivers, that is why i think that total trouble with my video card. What should I do? Thanks!

Hello,

 

Last night while watching videos on my tv while connected to my laptop, my screen just went black and when i reconnected the HDMI cord to my tv, my laptop screen was not showing up on my tv. My laptop screen blinks when I plug in the HDMI cord (as it normally does right before my laptop screen is projected on to my tv) but nothing pops up.  I have been to my "devices" column and went to "project" under my start up settings to see if I needed to specifically make my compuer project onto my tv screen but it did not change anything. I do have Windows 8.1 and my computer runs on 64 bit, (if that is the correct terminology.)  I have no clue what went wrong.

I have a problem in finding the driver to identify the below:

 

HP Pavilion 15-n245se  (F9U45EA)

 when i try install grahic card nvidia gforce

 the installation stop and tell me to install intel drive first

 i have tried everything on the driverson page of this model on HP website,and it doesn't work and also itried to reduce the brightness of screen through the action keys but also doesn't work ( my os  is win 7 64x) please help

I have the same glitch on more video games: Xcom, Cities XL, Crusader Kings II and other. In Crusader Kings, this only happens with the geographic map, not with the political ones. http://it.tinypic.com/r/a9tjlj/8http://it.tinypic.com/r/11l7g5v/8 In Xcom, this only happens with city maps, or with maps that have destroyed set pieces. I tried removing the graphic card from the system and installing everything again, to no avail. I have read a suggestion to try the games in safe mode in case of a glitch. This is what the games tell me: XCOM: "Your video card does not support alpha blending with float point render targets (D3DFMT_A16B16G16R16F), which is required to run this game. Exiting" CKII: "Failed to create a graphics devide. Exiting"

 

I have a dv7-4101sl with an ATI Mobility Radeon 5650. I've had this problems for months now, and I'm not very inclined to find out if the problem can be solved by formatting.

All my drivers are up to date and HP Support Assistant says everything is fine.

I bought my laptop brand new from best buy about 2 monthes ago and every since I first had it, it has screen issues. If the screen is barely touched or moved it glitches and goes black. I have to lower it and raise it back up. Sometimes severel times to get it to display again. Is this a common problem? And how do I fix? My laptop is

All the print and pics on my hp all in one looks great except for videos....these are videos on facebook, youtube, etc. they turn green...I have sound but no pic

I am currently going through holiday pictures and deleting a fair few. I have folders that consist of around 1500 pictures, which includes both jpegs and NEFs. When I view these I have no problem for the first say 50 or even 100 at times. Eventually it gets to a state where pretty much every second picture reveals the following warning:

'This photo can't be displayed. You might not have enough memory available. Close some programs or if your hard disk is almost full, free some disk space and try again.'

 

The odd thing is that if I go back to a previous picture and then to the one that hadn't worked, it works most of the time. If not, I keep clicking left and right and eventually it works again. I only bought the laptop today, so the space isn't the issue. It's got 8GB of RAM too, so I should be fine.

My model is: HP 15-G092SA

I am thinking it could have to do with the limited 2MB cache that the graphics card has. Could that be the problem? If so, how do I solve it. Google doesn't seem to reveal many answers.

I have just recently purchased an HP 17-e049wm. This laptop has the AMD Radeon HD8650G integrated graphics with up to 4206MB of total memory. I understand that this graphics "card" uses the onboard memory to act as video memory. How can I increase or decrease the amount of memory allocated to the graphics? I don't seem to be able to make any changes from the BIOS. Is this something that adjusts automatically?

After trying to login to my Hp G62-363NR the screen goes black. I can see my curser and hear the login sound. I can use it under safe mode. Wants Wrong?

My videos are showing up perfectly fine on Youtube etc, its just recently that when I go on Netfix on my HP 2000-2d13CA Notebook PC(has Windows 8 already installed) the video now goes green. I can hear what the people are saying I just now see green. I got my laptop almost a year ago(will be a year in December). It is a roughly new model and I do not know how to fix this. I did try right clicking as a previous professor stated but when in the Netflix app or any of my other Video Apps are open right click does not apply. This recently started happening and I am freaking out seeing I leave for College in a month and my Laptop will be my life source. Please help, I need all the advice I can get.

I have an HP computor and i have had it for years, but my webcam has stopped working, if i try to Skype with someone it says no webcam found or it says i dont have a webcam plugged in, i have tried the cyberlink stuff and the youcam and it hasn't worked. When i get to the install wizard, it says its installed the opens a green screen that i cant exit, after like 15 seconds it says cant load (skudll.tll ) HELP PLEASE!

Hi , I have a AMD Radeon HD 6700m & recently it isn't accepting any of the drivers, in Device Manager I get (Code 43) that appears, I was wondering if there is any way I can fix this problem , When I load the drivers that come stock with the laptop , it says to restart , after restart it gets to the Windows logo & then shuts off automatically , Prompting me to system repair. Everything else works except the graphics card drivers. I got into the Warlords of Draenor Beta & I really want to play it but none of my games are working due to not having graphics.

I have an HP Pavilion dv7-1243cl Entertainment Notebook PC. When I attach an HDMI cable between my computer and my HD TV, only the screen appears on the TV. The sound still comes out of the laptop's speakers. What do I need to do to get the sound to go through the HDMI cable to the TV?

Hi,

 

Under problem driver section I found the below things:

 

AMD Radeon HD 8500M    PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_666F&SUBSYS_22CE103C&REV_00\4&1CC9FF58&0&0011    This device is working properly.

Not Available    ACPI\HPQ6001\2&DABA3FF&2    The drivers for this device are not installed.

 

But from the Device manager I see that device is not working. Below is the screen shot:

I am out of solutions right now, i tryed almost everything, my laptop is using intel hd4000 gpu instead of dedicated gpu amd radeon hd 7670m 2gb. I tryed everything, reinstaling drivers, updating bios, reinstalling windows, updating drivers, reseting bios but nothing did worked, and all is set on high performance in amd catalyst but games runs on intel hd, on min settings in skyrim i get only 30 fps max with performance improving mods. i heard i need to set to fixed mode in bios but there is no that option, thats why i tryed even reinstaling win and updating bios. also i found this http://abesto.net/the-sad-case-of-the-hp-pavilion-g6-opengl-and-amd-switchable-graphics/, that killed all my hopes i will get finaly my pc to use dedicated gpu, plesae if you have any idea what else should i try leave a response on this post.

PROBLEM :

MY LAPTOP DOES NOT DETECT NVIDIA GEFORCE 740M GRAPHIC CARD.THE NVIDIA GEFORCE EXPERIENCE FOUND AN UPDATE FOR THE NVIDIA DRIVER. THE PRE INSTALLED VERSION WAS 326.80 AND THE UPDATE FOUND WAS OF VERSION 340.52 . I DOWNLOADED THE UPDATE AND FIRST DID AN EXPRESS UPDATE BUT IT FAILED. AFTER THAT I TRIED A CLEAN INSTALL AGAIN IT FAILED. THEN I USED THE HP SUPPORT ASSISTANT TO PERFORM A REINSTALL OF ALL DRIVERS , IT COMPLETED THE INSTALLATION THEN TOLD ME TO REBOOT.AFTER REBOOT THE NVIDIA ICON SHOWED UP IN THE SYSTEM TRAY AND WHEN I CLICKED ON IT I,IT SHOWED NVIDIA GRAPHICS CARD NOT DETECTED.

 

ALSO THE WINDOWS IS NOT GETTING UPDATED TO THE AUGUST WINDOWS 8.1 UPDATE IN WINDOWS UPDATE.
