How Can I Tell Which GPU My Laptop Is Using (With A Dual Graphics Notebook)

I have a customized 15z j100 and it has 2 GPU'S one built into the CPU (APU) and another discrete one (Radeon 8750M 2Gb) and I use mine for light gaming and I was wondering if there was any way to tell if my laptop is using the APU or the 8750M for gaming. If so is there anyway I can disable the other one and just use the 8750M?

HP Pavilion 15-e037cl Notebook PC - LCD crack/failure overnight - NOT CID!
Bought a HP Pavilion Notebook less than a year ago. It's been great, until last week. Used the laptop on my table before bed, went to bed, woke up and the laptop screen shows a large black rectangle on start-up.
HP warranty says there's a crack in the LCD screen, so it MUST be customer damage. This is not the case, there is no damage what-so-ever to this laptop. There was no crack at all when I shipped this to HP, just the black block in the top left and the obvious failure of the LCD.
After reading the forums it seems HP has been having this problem for YEARS on MULTIPLE product lines, including this one. My guess is a poor supplier (cheapest bidder, always) results in a random LCD failures. Whether it's failure to account for temperature fluctiations or the pressure fluctuations from opening and closing the laptop. HP wants 263 dollars to repair this, when it should absolutely be under warranty.
As an electrical engineer, I've used countless different laptops in my time and owned many different brands. I've never had a laptop LCD fail, ever, actually. HP needs to own up to the poor quality, perform a detailed root-cause analysis of every LCD failure that's not blatent CID and correct the quality issue. I'm currently waiting to speak to the service center, if they ever call me back.

How do I reinstall or repair my Cyberlink Webcam on my Windows 7 HP Pavilion
So I was attempting to delete a good majority of downloads and what not in my computer, and I deleted the entire photo album for my Cyberlink, and then did a program update for Cyberlink which did not work (just launched with a black camera view didn't even connect to webcam) so then I tried a system restore, and the only thing that has changed is it is back to the old version, but won't launch at all. I tried running as an administrator, still no results. I don't really know what to do from here, I don't want to keep messing it up. Any advice?

no drive light on presario cq61
When I power on my notebook, Presario CQ61-214TU, the CAP LOCK/NUM LOCK LED and Drive Light turns on for a few seconds and turn off. No screen display, got nothing even when output to a monitor. This happens after I changed a new LED screen because the old one does not display but I can still view on external monitor. I was very careful when I removed the screen. It is worst than before and I can't use my laptop anymore. Please help!

Updated mini 110-1012nr to Window 7. Best resolution available is 1074/576. Some software requires 800/600 or better to run. Old OS XP could handle the software.

Bulitin Webcam Of Hp Elite Book 6930p is not working

My problem is that bulit-in web cam of my Hp Elite Book 6930p is not working when I tried to open my cam through any software (Skype etc) and also directly it displays a msg that no web-cam is Detected please turn-on the web-cam now my question is that from where I should open it bcoz there is no button for it I tried all the solution available here but still my problem is un-solved. Please Help me as soon as possible bcoz i have a video Conference with my boss on Wednesday.

Black Screen
Hello everyone!
I am getting a black screen on my HP DV6-6C35DX notebook. No modes or changes, just straight factory. I have noticed a lot of other post concerning this but I am running short on time today. However, in my case when I turn on the laptop on, I get a quick white flash and then black. I have tried replacing the screen, the cable connecting to the screen, motherboard, different battery and a little chip that has easy access on the bottom side. Then I went into other forum suggestions such as pull out the battery and discharge all the electricty multiple time with no luck. Then I moved onto the next idea of the memory. I used 4 different memory sticks, again with no luck. Lastly I tried hooking up my laptop to a spare monitor and it will display but it will not toggle different views. So there you have it... I have tried all and replaced what I know to be related to the video. I think there is one faulty component that needs to be replaced and it must be easy because I am getting the same issue with different parts.

Pavilion 15-n234sl : partially detached display connector
Hello everybody,
I am the owner of an HP Pavilion 15-n234sl, which has recently experienced display issues, after a fall; the symptoms are a few vertical white/colored lines in the center of the display, and a white stripe further to the right.
As far as I have understood (please refer to this first picture), one video cable (squared in blue in the picture) connects the body of the laptop to a narrow horizontal circuit board, from which three connectors carry the signal to the LCD.
Now, the display issues seem to depend entirely from the damaged central connector (circled in red in the picture): in fact, slightly moving the middle area of the connector affects the few vertical lines, while the upper right corned of the connector looks detached from the LCD, which would explain the white stripe in terms of a lack of signal (please refer to this second picture). Also, video is perfect on external monitors.
Before I bring my laptop to an HP assistance centre, can you please help me understand the seriousness of the damage? What components are likely to be in need of replacement?

Graphics switcher is gone
After updating Bios to f.23, graphics switcher in the right click menu on the desktop is gone.
My lap is hp pavilion 15 e-026sx (emea_middle_east).
In the Bios setting I used to see in "The system Configurations" > "Switchable Graphics" ..
Now I don't see it.
please help, how to restore graphics switcher.

HP Pavilion dv7 1130el goes black
Hi everyone, it's about my old notebook, hp pavilion dv7 1130el bought 5 years ago, it always wokerd fine but now its screen goes black without reasons... at first I thought it might be overheating, but that's totally random:
-sometimes works even when is hot
-sometimes goes blackafter I turn it on and then open google
-sometimes works for a while, when its not hot, and then goes black
I don't have a second monitor to connect it, but even if the screen goes black I can still hear the music from youtube, so I guess it's just the screen.
HP Pavilion dv7 1130el, Windows 7 ultimate, runned fine for a year with this OS.

HP Envy m6 screen not working
So I've had my laptop for about a year and a half, still with all factory hardware. The other day it worked fine, and when I turned it on last night the screen was completely grey with thin vertical lines. I can get to the windows 8 home screen with my finger scanner, and when I scroll from side to side the lines move as well, so I know the computer is functioning properly, but the display isn't, any help would be amazing.
