I have a notebook model G42-352TU. I have problem in connecting HDMI to my TV . It cannot make a display on my TV screen regardless i choose duplicate, extend or only show in the display option.
FYI i have tried to change new HDMI cable but its till not working. i also tried to use other laptop to connect to my TV and it is work, so the problem is not on the TV.
My notebook detail as below:-
Model : HP G42-352TU Notebook
Display: Intel(R) HD Graphics
OS: Window 7 32-bits

While playing Starcraft 2 the display begins to fill with green spotys. After consulting with Blizzard technical support their answer is that there is a conflict between the preinstalled Intel grafic card and the dedicated NVIDIA GFORCE 750M included in the laptop.
I tried to deactivate the intel grafic card but dxdiag seems to be unaware of the changes i make on configuration to try to ignore the preinstalled card. I have also launched starcraft 2 forcing it to use the NVIDIA card but the error remains.
Does anyone know what can i do to fix the problem?

Hello, I have a, HP G62, and I have a problem with my screen. I had done an update of my bios, from version F.08A to F.48. Once that I had done it, when it restarted my screed was not working. I started to look on internet on my phone reasons and I found many reasons for a screen to done't work, so I choose a few things: I replaced the screen with a new one and nothing. Searching more on net, I saw how to check if my motherboard is broke, so I put a flashlight on my screen and I could see that was working, I connected the laptop to a monitor and is working, just that my backlight from screen is not working. Also I replaced the cable from screen. When I checked on device manager is showing me that Intel turbo Boost Tehnology Driver is not working. Then I installed an older version of bios, F.35, than in bios everything was ok, just the screen still not working. I also instaled the old verion of bios F.08A, and still the same screen without backlight.
Please I need help as I really need the laptop.

when I unplug charger from my HP Pavalion G6-2016tx, the colors fade i.e. red becomes light red,blue becomes light bule,green becomes neon green; then every time I had to restart the machine to bring the colors back, and its really annoying me.

i have hp pavilion 15-n211se laptop with gt740m 3d card........... i bought it one month ago ..... but when i play anyone game so line appears on screen ...i just click the game icon and lines starts ,,,,i dont know what kind of these lines name have .....but i think its splashing lines.........may be i wrong..but when i exit game so the screen are normal..........please help i worry about that so much

I have a HP pavillion DV7 3090ed. My webcam seems to have dissapeared from my device manager and it does not want to work even with reinstalling drivers. It says: Not installed properly, would you like to reinstall it?....
I have had a more or less similar isseu, and still have, with my DVD drive, it either doesnt work or states, cannot find drive... I tried everything but i want to avoid formatting my systems since i have no recovery disk or system copy,
is there a fix or something to get around this? i want my cam working properly again, I must say i have had bleuscreens more recently but i do not expect this to be the cause, Also all my restorepoints are too recent to recover the proper settings that way

I've recently bought an HP Probook430 and installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit and I don't seem to be able to change the display brightness, using the fn button+f9/f10 (although volume settings are changed in the same method smoothly).
Although the brightness settings don't seem to change, this bar does appear when pressing fn+f9/f10.
What should I do in order to make the display brightness settings changable?

MY laptop, Hp G61-G11wm with windows 7, has a black screen when I powered it on, the screen stays black, the caps led light blinks twice so does the led light above the number lock key, I have tried a few things but now thinking it may have something to do with the BOIS, does this sound like what it might be causing the black screen
I have a brand new Pavilion g7 -- I updated all the drivers to current.
Whenever the laptop suspends or hibernates, when I restore it; the screen is just trashed, garbled and unusable.
There were some posts saying use an old driver (failed to fix problem) and alternate power (if it suspended with power in, pull it, or visa-versa)....
Is the laptop bad / should be returned?
i have read about the switchable graphics and i foud that you have to enable it from the BIOS
my problem is that i have the latest version of BOIS ( insyde f.66 ) but i can not find the option of switchable graphics
Anytime I open something such as YouCam or Skype it said my webcam was not found/enable your webcam. Please help I have been having trouble with this for a while now.

I have recently purchased a brand new hp envy with standard screen option, Ive just noticed today after owning the laptop for 4 weeks that there is a smal round white spot on my screen in the top right corner. Its more evident with a white screen in the background.
Ive read a bit on it and I guess it may be a dead pixel?
Any idea what this is anyone? such a hassle to have to send it back to HP as ive already put in a SSD .

Aside from the ridiculously loud fan and heat generated by this machine it's been otherwise reliable.
I use it to do android development and yesterday I put my machine into hibernation and when I turned it on again this morning the screen is flickering non stop. Im currently using it plugged into an external monitor to write this post and that is obviously fine.
I have tried everything I can think of from updating the graphics driver, trying the standard newer intel version of the graphics driver, did a full system check and scan. Nothing seems to work.
On boot the screen does not flickr it is only when you log in to windows. I have booted into safe mode and there is no flicker problem so it cannot be a hardware or connection issue. I've searched through all the posts on screen flicker which seem to just have the same response but maybe I am missing something. Can someone please help? While I can still use it plugged into an external monitor, I really need the use of the extended desktop for development work.

Hi I have a Compaq presario CQ57 wiith a screen so dark it cannot be seen without a bright light shone at it.

I have it plugged into an external monitor and thats fine, desktop duplicated on both screens.
I have updated the drivers & bios using hp tool,
I have bought a new led backlit screen & cable, wasting just shy of £85,
this has all achieved nothing, I still have a black screen on the laptop.
It starts up fine, no beeps, runs great no hiccups except that I have to have an external monitor plugged in to see anything!
this is driving me bonkers,
anyone have any suggestions ? (other than bin it)
I would be pulling my hair out, but I`ve none left.......
