I have a problem with my HP Pavilion G6 2303sq laptop. I've installed latest drivers from HP website and the switchable graphics seem not to work properly. I have the option"Switchable Graphics" when I right click the desktop. I am running my games in High Performance Mode from Switchable Graphics but the game is so laggy... I think they are running on dedicated card... even though I've switched the graphics.. Please help.. I don't know what to do !

ATI Radeon HD 6770m + Intel 3000 GPU BIOS rom required
Hello everybody,
Mine is the HP Pavilion dv6 6173cl. Everytime it freezes loading Windows. I've checked all the hardware and found out there's Videocard rom unreadable. Need to flash it once again. So, please, if there's anybody having the same config. I mean 6770m + Intel 3000, do me a favor and back your GPU BIOS up (for example that's easy to do using GPU-Z utility) and share with me.

webcamera HP Probook 455 G1
good afternoon. my webcamera started to show everything in green an yellow colours. as if inverted colours. i have this notebook only for 7 months. this porblem started to be only some days ago. when i pressed on panel near the camera cirlce,it turned to be again normal colours,normal image. it helped. but now it dsnt turn to be normal but stay as inverted colour in green and yellow image. what is the problem? thank you for your answer in advance

How to switch to Nvidia graphics instead of intel in HP envy J111Tx
Hi all,
I have HP envy J111Tx with windows 8.1. When I see display properties, it uses Intel Graphics instead of NVidia. In device manager I see both Nvidia and Intel. But I could not find a way to select Nvidia. I could not option even in BIOS. I checked with CPUID software. Its shows Intel as the default graphics. I tried to disable the intel driver in device manager. But it started using microsoft generic driver.
Can anybody tell me how do I solve it ?

i have hp g61 for a while, i hav been maintaning really good till recent my screen wnet BLACK.. it was acting funny before as it stayes ON after i tunr of the laptop... and now it is all back cant see nothign ... the laptop works fine when i connect to exterenal moniter.. i am using it right now to post this... couold someone help me please. i thin the monier need to be chaged but it cost too much... like 50 - 100 pound.

replaced the OS with 7 Enterprise and now I have blue/green dots on pages. or desktop 60 hertz dots
driver issue? tried everything.
suspected B.O. Display and used KVM with exterior display works great.
stil think a driver issue ? Need some fresh input.

led backlight is good but it won't turn on
i got this display that won't turn the backlight.... but the backlight work and turn on a different display is a led with a flat ribbon cable that connects at the bottom .... my concern led display wont use inverter board ...and if is not fixible so .....do i need a new display laptop is a hp2000-369wm help me where to find the inverter or advise that i need a new display thanks w7

Toolbar displays during fullscreen
Everytime i maximize a window to full screen after a couple of minutes the toolbar displays on the bottom of the screen. This occurs watching videos and playing games. If it is a game I am playing and not streaming a video from Netflix it taes me all the way back to the Desktop. I have tried runing the computer on high performence thinking it was just something about the computer running in HP recommended. I have a HP Pavilion dv7. Any suggestions on how to fix is very much appreciated.

popup keyboard
I have a Pavilion 15 Laptop which is touchscreen. My problem is, when I need to type something, this irritating popup keyboard appears and hides half the screen. I never use it, I prefer just to use the normal keyboard and would like to know how to turn this popup off.

Pavilion G6 - Black screen
Hello,
I've had my Pavilion G6 (refurbished) for about a year now and it decided to crap out on me. At first, the bottom half of the screen was pink and messed up for a few days, and then all the sudden when I try and boot it, it flashes the normal boot screen for a second and then goes completely black. I can hear that the fan and HDD are still going, I think it's just a display problem. I opened it up and replaced the thermal paste, checked all cable connections, and even went back in later and replaced the motherboard to no avail.
So my question is, does anyone know a fix to this? Can you buy a new video card to put in it? (I noticed there were removable cards inside, one was RAM, I don't know about the other, not experienced with laptops)

HP 630 overheating and display gone
Hi All,
I bought HP 630 laptop in 2011. Yesterday when I was browsing google maps and the loptop was overheated and the display is gone.
I did a hard shutdown and when I restart the laptop, I could hear the operating system loading but the screen looks blank (does not display anything).

Trouble finding pavilion dv6 6190se display driver
I have a pavilion dv6 6190se and I cant find an update of display driver in HP support and when i download the update from AMD site it doesn't work. the latest update on this site is v8.882 and i doesn't support win8 and it goes back to 2011-11-18. is there any way to update it?

Grey dotted lines running across my screen :(

I brought this laptop about 5 months ago and just 2 weeks ago, out of know where a random grey dotted horizontal line appeared across my laptop screen, so i ignored for a week and then suddenly there's a another one just like it and a few days later the samething happen. I don't know how it happened and why it happened.
Please help me out, I dont think its the screen because haven't drop my laptop or damged my screen what so ever. Aslo, I haven't change any systems befor it occured.

ati hdmi output not plugged in
hi, i have an hp laptop type HP Pavilion G4-1317AU. my sound is error..
the volume icon said " no speaker and headphones are plugged in". then i check the playback device, the speaker device is installed, but the ati hdmi output is not plugged in.
how to fix this problem? please, i need your soulution
