sir  my problem can not solved

i purchased a  new hp notebook 15-r006tu and install windows 8.1 64 bit

 

some problem are ----------

 

1 .

 

i have installed  graphics driver but i can not change led display bright ness with hot key  ( fn + bright change key )  .

 

although adaptive  bright ness is off ????  ( probably graphics driver problem ??? ) ..

 

2 .

when i  want to stop ( wifi and bluetooth )  using hot key   fn + network botton  button  then only bluetooth is off

but wifi is still run .

 

what is hot key ??? or how i stop  wifi ???

hello, i have a hp pavilion g6 laptop, my screen broke recently, so i recently replaced the screen. i started up said laptop after screen replacement but i was greeted by a VERY dark screen, the screen works but it is very dark, what could the problem be? i have no clues and dont really want to spend copious amounts of money solving the problem with several new parts. Any help given wil be greatly received and thanks in advance

I have up and running ubuntu (kubuntu to be precise), but after installation any try to run the driver ends with blank screen...

Is there any way to install ATI driver for video card in ubuntu 13.10?

I have been using the CyberLink YouCam for recording videos but now when I try to record,  10 videos with black screens apear at the bottom. and i cant watch videos i recently created please help me. -Syd

HI ! After a reboot i've seen that my HP probook 450 G1 cannot run games and i checked the graphics card drivers 

it says that at my amd radeon 8750 m ;Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) 

and at my intel hd graphics it says : This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) and when i try to update the drivers it says at both that acces is denied 

PLEASE HELP ME !!!

P.S: my aero transparecy has problems and USB devices aren't recongnized

Hi, when I start my computer after starting windows sign screen goes black and as I can understand from windows opening sound it goes on working. I can open my pc only in safe mode and when I open dxdiag I cannot see my graphic card exist. I tried to delete and reinstall graphic card driver ( ATI HD 5470) but It says "failed to load detection driver". I format my computer but problem remains same. Waiting for your help

Hello,

I have read a lot of forum posts but i can't find right answer which is suitable for my case so i decided to ask you guys here. 

I plan to upgrade my laptop screen to full hd display or at least 1600x900. Current display configuration is 40pin connector and have LVSD (1ch, 6-bit) signal class. All higher display panels have LVSD(2ch, 6-bit). 

The answer which i am asking myself is how can i find out if my display cable support LVSD(2ch, 6-bit) or i must replace that cable with new one? My cable part number is: DD0U86LC030.

Please i found out that my laptot battery was down and shout it self down, so the system did not boot to the destop again what can i do please?

I sincerely think that my 2000-2c29WM Notebook PC is a piece of junk. When I first bought it the keypad would have trouble putting the letters up. I felt like I was going to have to bang on the keyboard to get it to type. I thought well, maybe it's me and I'm just not hitting the letters the way I should be or maybe I need to put the laptop in a different position so that my fingers hit the keys properly. I have typed on all types of computers and typewriters and never had this problem before. I tried moving the computer around, propping it up on things and I even bought a roll around stand for it where I can tilt it whichever way I want. None of that has helped because it still is a bitch to type with. I still feel like I'm going to have to pound on the keys to get a letter to show up. Sometimes it will miss a letter entirely. Then there are videos. Many, many times I wanted to look at a video on a social media site or even on youtube and the video would show up as a green screen. No picture, just a green screen. Sometimes I have been able to shut the computer down and restart it and it will work for awhile. Before long though, even if I haven't looked at any videos, it will turn green again.

   I'm really getting tired of this computer. I bought it for myself after my wife and I separated because she got the desktop. I am really having regrets about buying this thing. I bought it at Wal Mart (that should answer the question right there) and I bought it just before Christmas. I have had several HP computers in the past, all desktops and have always considered HP one of the better computers on the market for the average computer user. This laptop leaves a lot to be desired though. Unfortunately I did not purchase the extended warranty and don't remember how long the regular warranty was for. I am to the point of chunking this stupid thing out the window and into the swimming pool at my apartment complex. I can't believe that HP let this computer on the market the way it is. And I'm sure there is nothing to be done about making the keys work better. And have I mentioned Windows 8? HP, you should be ashamed of yourself for hoisting that operating platform on anyone. I can't do anything with it because I can't figure it out. Send me a Windows XP disc and let me change over to that. I could figure that out. Either that or I'll send you this laptop back and you send me another one that works cause this one certainly doesn't. I am really disappointed in HP for this laptop. If I had to rate it on a scale of 1 to10 with 10 being the best, I would rate it around a 2 or 3.

Laptop/Notebook: HP Pavilian dm4

Note: This can be put under 2 topics. I chose video because that seemed the most apparent issue at hand. Now for all peoples consideration and my possible breaking of rules i am posting a 3 second Audacity file of the sounds i get from the issue. Audacity recording of the audio. Not video. Dropbox link. Now for those that cannot hear it due to not trusting my post it is described as a sort of Dial up in a high pitched tone if that makes sense. I completely reformatted my computer and after some installations of windows updates (hundreds of them) the audio still worked fine. Now. The issue comes ONLY outside of youtube. Previously it wouldn't even load youtube videos. And other issues i noticed was the video would graphically skip along and show green with other pixelation glitches after 10seconds-1minute shown. It would skip ahead very quickly and show many many graphical glitches. At one point before the reformat certain websites would show graphical glitches. This sounds like a graphical driver is wrong but i did restore them to a previous version. And a version before that. This happened randomly because videos outside youtube would work all fine for a few days. From what i read of other forums and other Laptops its a microsoft issue they refuse to fix. If so i would love to hear ways to remove this dreaded update without going through the same process again. Video and audio now to show im not lieing: The video. Note2: Uninstalling windows updates to see what optional update is breaking it specifically so i may notify others of the problem. Model is dm4-2165DX

Hi.

My laptop was working fine one day , i left home for a week came back and went to turn on my computer and all the keyboard lights wer on (no blinking, no beeps ) but my screen was black . I finally discovered that the screen was on but the back light or somthing was off and i can only see the screen when i hold up a flash light to  it , its very dark and hard to see (like the old gameboys with no lights). i checked the display settings and it says the brightness is 100% 

ive took the battery out held the power button plugged the computer in to AC and everything and its still the same. i cant find any soulution online and ive tried everything i could possibly think of . 

PLEASE HELP

Hi,

I have a hp g62-b16st. It's a remarketed product with Intel core i3 2,4, 500GB HDD, 4gb RAM, integrated Intel HD graphics and dedicated ATI Mobility Radeon card (5470 hd I believe). This setting worked pretty well with 64-bit Windows 7 but recently I switched to windows 8.1 64-bit and now my hp isn't working. From what I gathered dedicated graphics drivers seem to be a problem. After installing updates, computer started to reboot itself continuosly. I restored windows to the state right after system installation and tried again- the same thing happened. Then I tried to install drivers from ATI- Catalyst Control Center didn't work. Every time I tried to install it (I downloaded multiple files, older and newer) I got the same failure of loading driver package. Then I found BETA drivers (amd-catalyst-14.6-rc2-windows-june23) and the restarting loop stoped but only due to the fact that ATI graphics weren't working properly and windows switched automaticaly to integrated Intel graphics.

 

That was all yesterday. Today, some update got downloaded and asked to restart my computer. when booting windows it said it is installing updates and I should wait for it to finish. Once it said 100% it started with the loop again. In safe mode I found out that windows figured out it is a good idea to install different driver that seems to be recognized as properly working one. And now the restarting loop is back. So I uninstalled that driver and disabled ATI graphic card for now but honestly I have no idea how to make win 8.1 work.

 

Oh, and I checked in BIOS- there is nothing I can do about it there.

 

Is there a way to make both graphic card and integrated graphics work on windows 8.1? If not, is there a way to turn ATI graphics entirely off?

Hello HP community,

 

I got my brand new  HP ENVY 15-j101ex for almost a month now and it's working great. I tried to play one of my games on it and after 20 minutes the laptop crashed. After searching for the cause it turns out my Nividia Geforce and Intel Graphics driver were outdated. I updated the Nividia driver and everything went smoothly. However, everytime I donwload the new driver for the Intel Graphics it doesn't update and simply says that my computer does not meet the minimum requirements. I doublechecked the driver name and I even used the action center on my computer which notified me that I needed to update my driver and it even gave me a link to download from, but the same error occurred.

 

Now I can't play ang game without the risk of my computer crashing down. Has anyone else faced this issue and does anyone have a solution?

Early this morning, I went to get on my Pavilion g4, but when I turned it on, the screen would begin to blink on and off and would never fully boot up. It worked perfectly fine yesterday but today. ..... nothing. My warranty had expired and I just don't know what to do! !!!
