dv7-1428ca hdmi port not working with tv
Laptop is little old, i connect the hdmi cable to the tv with HDMI cable and nothing happens.
I have tried using windows key + p, it just make the screen flicker when putting into duplicate mode no signal on tv
Im wondering is this a driver related issue?
PLEASE help i spent numerous hours trying to fix this

Ok first of all i have two posts and i cant figure out how to delete the other post.
I have windows 7 64 bit version
HD 3200
Im trying to connect my tv to my laptop but the tv always gets (no signal) no matter what mode i put my computer on.
I have tried
1. Fn + F4 (No Success) put into all modes**
2. Windows key + P ( No Success) put into all modes
Can someone please suggest a solution thanks
Also when i plug the hdmi port in the computer doesnt notify me with sound.

Hi everyone, I tried installed on a new Ssd W7 in my n009la Laptop, but despite of getting all drivers in the page installed, I cannot get control of the bright adjusting buttons for the screen, do you know if there is an specific driver for graphics to make them work?

laptop screen going off & not turning on while on battery
I own an HP envy m6. The laptop screen turns off sometimes while on battery. Also after this happens if put lap to sleep and switch it back on, screen most of the times wont turn on, but the lap does. Same problem when, turning the system.
The problem is becoming more frequent.
But if the laptop is plugged in no such problem. When this problem occurs, if i plug in and then try sleep & wake, the screen turns on without fail

Does anybody can help me, I have display problem with my notebook pavilion 9700..
Problem is same like this on next video from youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BuwMq5NCuM . On this video user have option to make default screen, but my notebook wont to do that..
I try to formate few times and after format screen was back, but after few restart everything is same..
Do you have any idea?

help please, i need to identify a main board suface mount component FBB4
hi folks, i'm attempting to repair a compaq cq58 for a friend who broke her screen/ display, after replacing the screen and screen cable. the laptop still isn't showing display, but will on an external monitor i have used the F4 feature to select display twin mode, on inspecting the p.c.b around the external monitor ( D connector ) surface mount component FBB4 looks in bad shape it is either a suface mount cap or resistor or 0ohm link etc. can anyone help in identifying this component, any help whould be greatly appreciated as this friend in need is now becoming a pest, many thanks Kev

how can I get the switchable graphics running on my HP Envy 3D 3xxx with an Radeon HD 7690M XT and Intel Graphics 3000?
It runs smooth on Win7 but on freshly installed Win8 the graphic card gets rather hot

Can't use 3rd party themes after install windows 7 ultimate
Hello , I got some problem with 3rd party themes
i want to use it , but the theme always change into windows classic
i already used universal theme patcher and Uxstyle core but no help.
First i used windows 7 ultimate SP1 , and i still can change the theme , then i install windows 8.1 because some reason , now , i'm using windows 7 ultimate SP1 again and then i can't use my old themes , it turns into windows classic
what should i do?

Computer starting - Black screen

Looking for some help here. Can't seem to find any solution to my problem..
I've got the HP TouchSmart tx2 1399eo. And when I start the computer, the fan and the harddrives starts aswell but the screen remains blank.
I've tried a hard reset and a secondary screen. Nothing is working.
What i've noticed is that all the LED-lights on the screen ate active and on the keyboard two lights are blinking!
Please help me :)

display drivers conflit
I have a HP G62 with switchable graphics but i reinstall the windows 7 and then it automatically install the intel graphics driver and the when it installs (automatically) the amd(ati) display driver and reboot we stays black.
If I only install the intel HD driver he forces the amd driver install and once reboot it goes to black screen, if I only install amd driver the resolution it's really low.
I really need some help quickly because i can only use my computer in safe mode.

Using Envy x2 with a vga projector
One of the reasons I got this computer is that I need to use it with a projector. The projector I use has vga input. I got an adapter but it doesn't work. Is there any solution to this?

radeon hd 6770m update bluescreen problem
so i went to to amd and did an autodetect so i can get the newest driver for the HD 6770m video card..once i downloaded the new driver updated and installed it, i cannot open my catalyst and says that i dont have any hardware supporting it and i also get the blue screen crashing my computer..so in order to fix this, i had to do a system restore and rollback all drivers and im currently stuck with the driver version of 8.882.2.300 which was released in the year 2011..

Webcam driver for integrated camera on Pavilion dv6911om
I have reinstalled my original Vista Home Premium 32bit using the recovery partition. All is well, except I can't make the webcam recognizable to the system. Therefore, I can't use my Skype video call function. When I had the factory installed OS, Skype video call worked perfectly.
I have been all over the Internet trying to find software - YouCam, Quickplay, SP37849, SP46565, SP38361 and SP 45866 - all to no avail. None of the software would install, except Quickplay (SP38361).
In the Device Manager, under Imaging Devices, there is no webcam driver listed, only my HP 6700 All-in-One printer/scanner. Is there a possibility that only one imaging device can be installed at one time? I sure hope that is not the case.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

my hp elitebook 6930p brightness
the brightness of my Hp elitebook 6930p is too poor that i cant use it during the day except in dark places or at night. i have tried all the possible solution i have seen so far in the internet but to no avail. this hinders my studies and researches because i cant operate the laptop in school and in some places because of the poor screen brightness. if i there is any solution to this problem, please let me know. thanks in advance.

Laptop screen is completely black with nothing on it
My hp pavilion g6 1c39ca laptop has a black screen on startup with nothing showing. Before that 3 times the screen would show horizontal lines on the top half and I had to restart it.
Pls help me
