I ordered a new HP Pavilion 17-e166eg notebook less than 2 weeks ago online. When I went to turn it on for the very first time, it wouldn't start. After some time I moved the display and noticed the screen flicker on and off. I can't even start up my NEW notebook! I ordered this from the German HP online store, so I called the customer service line. I asked if the agent spoke English and was rudely told in German that I have contacted the HP GERMANY line, so they only speak German. The agent wouldn't even ask if anyone in the office spoke English. My German is not so good, but I know when someone is being rude. She then told me to call another number. So I called the support number for Germany. Again, no one there speaks English, so I tried to explain I want to send my notebook back to her with UPS, but the agent said she can't help me and told me to call the Customer Service line again. I emailed both Customer Service and Support in English two days in a row and have not gotten a response. I finally used google translate, and emailed support again with the original message and the German translation. Hoping somone gets back to me soon! According to HP terms of service, I can get a full refund if I purchased the notebook within 14 days of requesting a refund. After getting a brand new defective laptop, and not getting any help from HP, I just want to send this notebook back and get a refund. Can anyone tell me how I can get someone at HP Germany to help me before this Sunday when the 14 days is up?
