web cam picture quality
Have a problem with an integrated webcam on my dv6-7263er HP ENVY . YouCam drivers are up to date and reinstalled twice.

quick sync where is it.
I own a HP ENVY 17t-3200 CTO Notebook PC Drivers and everytime I try to udate the intel 4000 driver it tells me to get with the vendor. There are no updated drivers on the hp site so what gives. Anyone found a work around so that I can use quick sync ....

Hi all, having no problems with my new laptop, except for the graphics card which doesn't suit my requirements.
That is the system info, can i replace the onboard intel graphics card for something better?

HP ENVY Touchsmart 15 Notebook PC. In DESKTOP I have a blank screen, no icons visible
I have the HP ENVY Touchsmart 15 Notebook PC. I installed the 8.1 update in november and just a month ago (march) some problems have surfaced which I can't understand. When I go to my DESKTOP it has a blank screen the same color as my home screen instead of my wallpaper, no icons visible, when I open any program once I minimize it it just dissapears, laptop fans spin louder than before, laptop doesn't warn me when battery is low and just shuts off my itself, battery life image shown in the DESKTOP toolbar not accurate so I can't tell when my battery is low. My sister is new to the computer. Since it's touchscreen, you access a lot in the laptop by swiping the screen from one side to another, I don't know if she accidently touched something that made this happen or if it was something else. I don't have enough computer knoweledge to describe in detail what I believe could be the problem. I am seeking anwers.

Pavilion dv6-6c39tx help please?!
So there's supposed to be switchable graphics, and i know there is because i utilized this function a lot before i reinstalled a fresh copy of windows on my laptop.
I recall there being two Display Adapters in the Device Manager, one of which being the Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 (Which is currently present) and the other one which was like.. AMD Radeon 6xxxm or something i never really paid much attention to it since there was never any problems before.
Anyway, there is now only 1 Display Adapter and I'm sure there's supposed to be another one there. I've gone into the BIOS to see if there's anything i can change but i'm completely at a loss here. I would really like some help! I'm going insane ><! Thanks!~

external monitor HP DV6 3149-IT: working together lcd display and how?
hi guys, I'm afraid for question but I'm dummy. I wanted to know if it is possible to connect an external monitor via HDMI. The main question is:
1) If possible connection with the admonition external visualizzerei the same information on the screen LED PC and the external monitor?
2) or you can see different things (the contents of a folder on the LCD screen) and browsing internet on the external monitor, for example.
3) in the unlikely case of point 1), would close the laptop screen, so I can see the external monitor; in that case hp goes into hibernation, because I closed the lid. I have the external keyboard and mouse

Envy 17 Notebook external tv display Windows 8.1
I just purchased a new tv to be used as an external monoitor to an HP envy 17 notebook running windows 8.1. I connected a new HDMI cable and I get nothing. The notebook does not have a serial port so that is why I went with the tv instead of a monitor.

HDMI no longer responding - dv6-6b51ea Windows 7
Morning All,
I normally plug my HDMI cable into my laptop and instantly it will signal the connection by making a noise or the screen will go on and off, but last night nothing happened, I tried different cables and different TV's but nothing. I also tried combinations of turning the TV on and off, restarting my laptop and a number of highly offensive choice words aimed at the HDMI port, but these had no effect.
I've noticed a few people having this issue, if I need to reinstall drivers etc. please let me know as i'm not 100% sure on how to go about doing that safely.
If you need any more info just ask.

Black bar on side of monitor after computer restart
Hello Everyone, after i uninstalled Android Studio last night, I was prompted to restart my laptop to apply changes. I clicked yes, after the reboot however I no longer had my full screen display(1280x800) and there is a black bar to the right side of the screen.
I have tried updating/uninstall/reinstalling my graphics driver(Intel Hd Graphics 3000) and the bar is still there. No option to scaling,(set at Maintain Display Scaling)
I tried taking a picture to display the black bar on m monitor using print screen but the black bar does not show when I paste into paint.
Can someone please help me with my issue at hand?

I'm having trouble with glare from office lighting on my screen. HP Pavilion dv6. Any suggestions?
The lighting in my office is creating lots of glare on the screen. I doesn't seem to help to increase of decrease the brightness. Is there an add on filter or other suggestion for dealing with this problem?

LCD liquid Leakage!!! on the new HP Spectre 13 Ultrabook- 1st week use
Have anybody experience of "LCD liquid leakage" from the bottom of the monitor ribbon!!! I bought a HP Spectre 13 Ultrabook and on the 1st week use some liquid comming out of the screen.!!! :smileyfrustrated:
the problem is that according to HP Support they did not accept that it is a factory defect and they didn't cover it under thier warranty service!!!!!!

DV7-7255DX laptop black screen, no hp logo at boot

My envy laptop is not starting. This happened a few nights ago and I tried doing a hard reset and checking the ram and hard drive and nothing worked. When I power it on the power button lights up, along with the light on the wifi button, I can also hear the fans, and the speaker in the bottom of the laptop makes a few clicks and then nothing. I never get the hp logo or any indication that the screen is even powered on. I tried using an external monitor but that doesn't work either. When this happened a few night ago I tried a bunch of trouble shooting steps and nothing worked but I let it set powered up and maybe an hour later I saw the hp logo pop up and the laptop started. Once I was in windows I updated my drivers to make sure it wasn't a windows 8.1 issue and everything seemed ok until last night when I rebooted it and now I am stuck at the black screen like before but nothing seems to work, I even let it sit plugged in and powered up like last time.
Update: I tried resetting the memory last night but I had the same result. When I tried to use only one of the two memory sticks it wouldn't boot at all. This was the same for both. It would turn on and turn back off after a second. I am starting to think this is a motherboard issue and I have read about people tossing theirs in the oven for 10 minutes but I really don't want to do something like that. I am really disappointed I can't even get in touch with HP because the warranty is expired buy only a few months.

So i bought a laptop with not OS instaled i self instaled OS Windows 7 64 bit and instaled all the possible drivers for it (i could find) the drivers i found on HP page for this product didnt work beacuse hardware is not comptible thats what it says after trying to instal any driver from page, but the main problem is with my HD graphic card that has update from 2006 and when i update it it says its up to date nad my display resolution is going throught my montor not throught graphic card so can any1 help me finding display(graphic card) drivers for this HP laptop beacuse i dont think this is best performance this laptop can offer,tnx infront and sorry for bad english.

Updating Video Drivers - HP Pavilion dv6-6c61el
Hi
I have an HP Pavilion dv6-6c61el (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=it&destPage=document&docname=c03138058&lc=it&tmp_docname=c03138058) and i am trying to update the two graphic cards.
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate X64.
I have already tried with Leshcat driver but when I installed it, the brightness control doesn't work properly (the two buttons for increase and decrease don't work and when the pc switch' on from standby state, the screen stays off).
Is there anyone who has had the same problem?
Where I can find the driver for my switchable graphic cards? (AMD Radeon HD 7470M + Intel)?
I am very disappointed because when I try to work with Adobe Premiere the card stops working (Display driver xxxxxstopped responding and has successfully recovered) .
The latest drivers that I have found are the original Hp ones - SP55092 1/10/2011
Can someone help me please?

DV7-6185us will not install graphics driver
my HP Pavillion dv7-6185us will not install the intel or the AMD graphics drivers. I start the installation process, it makes it to where it is installing the Catalyst then i get a "Package install error." I have tried installing the older drivers and the same issue occurs. My computer is stuck on 1024x768 resolution and I cant take it anymore. Can someone please help with this issue. My laptop has the Radeon HD 6490M card.
