I need help when i play videos in fullscreen and wait for the timer to go away my screen turns black, i can hear the videos play bu it stays black till i exit fullscreen and way to fix this Thanks for the help in advance.

HP ENVY 360 - Outer case issues
Can someone tell me where I can find new rubber self - stick feet for my HP envy? I would like to find the same ones/matching. They are not listed on ebay or amazon.com. Also, has anyone else had any issues with the HP ENVY x360 external case being soft? This is my second HP Envy and the metal on it is so bad/soft that even the top is bending away so I can hardly put it in 360 mode. It literally is coming apart at the seams. And the computer has been used by a mature adult only.

I have an HP Split x2. Is there an alternate way to turn it on besides the power button?
The tablet part was dropped on the upper, right hand corner- right on the power button- and now it seems jammed. Is there ANY other way of turning it on before I try to have it fixed?

What Passive Stylus Pen Works Best?
Hello! My laptop is unfortunately incompatible with any sort of active stylus pen, or at least that is what it says on the HP website. My question now is if anyone knows what the best kind of passive stylus would be? I wanted to use my laptop to take notes and I want to know which stylus to get that would work the best. Thank you!

My pointer doesn't appear
I just turned on my computer and the touchpad doesn't work, I don't see the pointer anywhere and neither it works when I connect a mouse to it. What can I do? I already tried with the Fn+ (All of the function from f1 to f12), I don't know what else to do...

Fps drop
Hi so first off im completely new to pc gaming but ill explain as best as i can.
So ive been trying to play forza horizon 4.
When ever i am on the game i am getting really bad fps drops to the point on some occasions its unplayable. When i have the fps display on my screen it reads gpu 60 70% how ever this jumps from what i said above to gpu 2 90% it just fluctuates like crazy when this is happening and its almost every time i play i basically have to just close the game down.
I have tried playing with the settings in forza to the point of playing on very low this helps a little but does not stop the issue.
If anyone could point me in the right direction to getting this sorted it would be greatly appreciated.
I have an NVIDEA GTX 1050.

Youtube videos won't play
When going to Youtube and click on a video, the video box comes up, circle spins, then the screen in the box grays out and says "error occurred. Please try again later." It also shows a playback ID in ( ) and a "learn more" . Nothing happens if I click on "learn more" either. I'm wondering if an update has this messed up. What can I do to fix? Thanks.

Performance issues with Envy 13 laptop
I have some performance issues with the Envy laptop.
First, it has an i7-7500 CPU, 16GB and 1TB SSD and runs win10-pro. Display is 3200x1800.
1. Internal fan seems to run too often (given the little I'm doing--just browsing!). (Yes this is an observation not a problem.)
2. Can't really use firefox browser: when scrolling, it freezes. But if I can somehow kill the conexant audio driver, it no longer freezes. (Audio driver used to crash--- until it was updated-- and freezing didn't happen after audio driver crash.)(I've visited a microsoft store to see if they could fix this problem. They updated some of the drivers and proclaimed victory. In the end, it didn't help--- except that the audio driver no longer crashes.)
3. I used to use a 1080p external monitor but am now trying a 4K external monitor. Monitor goes black for 1-5 seconds every minute or 3. (Seems to happen more often when laptop's internal fan is running, which makes me think it's a performance issue.)

how to increase graphic memory

Bring back change dedicated video memory in BIOS
I would like to propose that the BIOS re-introduce the ability of what memory to allocate to the notebook video please!.
Upgrading my system to 16gigs and still having only 1gb for video is a crying shame when a simple bios change
can change this.
PLEASE bring this option back like the older laptops, I don't know why it was removed in the first place, but today it should read 1GB, 2GB, 4GB for video allocation.

Connecting external monitor to my HP Spectre
Dear HP,
Which is the best way to connect my HP Specter (see product name) to a 4k Benq monitor (PD3200U)? There *must* be a simple and definite answer to such a normal and usual query. BenQ's monitor has several possible ways of connections. It's my HP laptop that is the limiting factor.
I am following up on a question started back in 2017, which I read and that did not give a conclusive answer.
The external ports available are:
1 headphone/microphone combo; 2 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 2 (Thunderbolt, Data up to 40 GB/s, Power Delivery, DP1.2, HP Sleep and Charge); 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (HP Sleep and Charge).
In the initial question, the following answer was given to the possibility of using a "HP Adapter for USB-C Laptops (USB-C to HDMI)":
- So using the USB type C adapter shown from the link "on Amazon" may not work. I am being candid about it and not beating around the bush. (Link to answer)
- Please check this document: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04723006 for more information and assistance.
- I have done all the updates and the HP Notebook PCs - Connecting a Monitor, Projector, or TV (Windows 10, 8, 7) page was no help
- My model is not listed in the QuickSpecs, thus that couldn't be referenced - it only lists older models with more/other ports.
None of these answers were of any help to connect an external monitor. Furthermore, no one gave a straight answer; their solutions basically suggested to proceed on a "trial and error" basis.
I cannot imagine there not to be an easy answer to such a common task. Thus, I expect an answer along the lines of:
- You need to get this kind of port/cable with this kind of specs and it will work
- It will never work. Stop trying.
Therefore I kindly ask you to explain to me, without using the same answers and links above, what I can do to connect my monitor to my laptop.

Strange display colours

Hello all
I have a strange situation when viewing some colours on my notebook. For example Blue, Orange, I always see some white lines inside the colours. When using web pages like facebook, linkedin the blue colour is shown really bad, with these white lines.
I tried changing some options of the display settings but it's still the same.
What do you reccomend to do?

broken touchscreen
Hi there,
recently the touchscreen of my 2in1 tablet got a crack at the top, by which it automatically starts to touch anything that is on the screen, at different places at the same time.
Don't know how it got there (probably it fell on something), now the question is, how much would it cost to get this repaired.
As far as i know, it's only the touch part, as the display itself seems to be working fine :)

Playback Issues with Online, MP4 and MP3 files
I've been using the same laptop with Windows 10 since I bought it and it has been working great ever since, but suddenly last night it had issues playing back videos. While I was watching a YouTube video, it was sudden;y cut off and I couldn't play any videos from YouTube. It gave me the "Playback Error" message. I tried playing videos I have saved on my laptop, but they couldn't play either. Both video and audio files gave me the "Can't Play" message and suggested to look for guidance, but it doesn't show or say *where* to find guidance. I didn't download any weird files or anything of the like, the problem just started out of nowhere. So I shut the laptop off for the night and when I turned it back on this morning, the same problem was still there. I tried to look for solutions, but I usually only found videos on how to fix it, which isn't helpful considering that my laptop can't play videos at the moment. To summerize:
*Video Playback issues with YouTube Videos on Internet Explorer, as well as with Video and Music files saved onto the laptop.
*Internet Connection is stable
*Shutting off and turning on the laptop didn't fix the issue.
I couldn't find any discussion that completely covered the issues I'm facing. If a professional sees this, please respond and help as soon as you can. Thank you in advance.
