    Hi, I'm going to buy this laptop and was wondering if this display realy support g-sync function and integrated in it or it works only for external display.

    There is a lot of disputes about it in the internet and no answer, so I was afraid to buy the wrong one.

  • I've had multiple problems in my first 3 weeks of owning the HP Tilt Pen that came with my HP Spectre.

     

    Firstly I had the bluetooth issue that are publicly known about and I was able to reconnect the device as per HP instructions, happy here.

     

    Secondly, I have had inconsistent issues with pen accuracy, I have followed the guides for use but occasionally the pen will make sudden swipes to one side or another. This is very frustrating and not expected for the price of this product.

     

    Thirdly, when I first used the pen the tilt feature worked very well with the in-built "Sketchpad", I could tilt the pen to the side with the pencil and it would alter the width of the stroke. I really liked this feature but by the second or third use the tilt function has completely failed and has never returned through several resets of the pen and drivers.

     

    Finally I have just attempted to use the pen and the tip is ceasing to be detected by the laptop, the buttons and rear end are working fine but the main thin tip is just not being registered at all.

     

    I was hoping to raise this issue with the device warranty but I am unable to add this to my HP Support Assistant as I cannot find the serial number, there was a post on this forum asking for the location of the serial number but the HP staff member that responded only aided that individual through private messaging so this was no help to me.

    Since I upgrade to windows 10, I have issue with my pointer (with touchpad and wired mouse). The pointer stop moving every 5 seconds for 1-2 sec then start again. Clincking is ok. Pilote is up to date and I run every update. When I start again my notebook and press F2, the pointer is working well.

    The mouse is ok, I try several mouses, and I try them also on another notebook.

    I run a diagnostic test and the failure ID is MCXP39-72M9B1-MFPWWK-G2ST03.

     

    I can't find any solution is the HP support website, do you know what should I do?

    Have a weird issue. I have a dual monitor setup with a wireless keyboard and mouse (logitech) all connected to an HP Elite USB-C dock. Set up is the two external monitors with the HP laptop set on the right side of the right external monitor. When the laptop is connected to the dock with the lid open, all three monitors display correctly with the left side external display set as the primary display.  When I close the lid and go to a dual monitor external display only mode, the primary display switches from the left side monitor to the right side monitor. I then have to go back into the display settings and change the primary back to the left side monitor. This isn't a big deal except for the fact that everytime this happens it moves all my icons from one monitor to the other and messes up the way I had them organized on screen.  I have created a profile in the Intel Display control panel, but this does not resolve the issue.  Has anyone ever seen this behavior? If so, any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

     

    I have a Pavilion 15-cs0012na laptop, I want to connect a LG monitor (DVI or VGA input) using the USB-C displayport out put. However, it does not display anything. 

     

    The USB is working fine (checked using a SD card to USB-C converter), the cable is working fine (connected my phone which displayed on the monitor).

  • I have an HP E243m monitor, connected to an HP docking stationt hat connects to my HP notebook through Thunderbolt. The onboard camera for the monitor works fine when connected directly to the notebook, however, it doesn't when connected through the docking station. It's recognized, but it only displays a still image, and thats when it doesn't crash. I have the most recent drivers and firmware installed. Any ideas on how to remedy this situation?

    Hello ! As i stated in the title i own a Hp Revolver G2 running Windows 10 x64 Build 1803.This model comes with an Alps GlidePoint touchpad.The touchpad settings lack an option to allow me to autodeactivate the touchpad when a mouse is connected and i have no phisical button or function button to allow me to quickly do so.I couldn't find any answers when googling either so i'm hoping you can help.

    Whenever I open my computer there is always a dark flickering at the bottom right side of the screen. It is especially visible when there is a white background.

    Recently, when I turned on my laptop, the screen immediatly rotated to vertical, even though I had not moved it at all. I tried to flip it over and move it around, but it would  not go back.

     

    I found that I could turn on the rotation lock in the settings and manually select "landscap." However, I discovered that the keyboard and trackpad do not work at all. I cannot type or click anything in both portrait and landscape modes. The screen will also immediately revert to portait mode if I turn the rotation lock off. 

    I have tried flipping the notebook over to make it rotate, restarting,  and shutting it down and the turning it on again. Nothing can make the trackpad and keyboard work.

    My laptop is brand new. Its touch screen starts flickering when I open large PDFs to read, sometimes this happens suddenly out of nowhere for no reason.

    Several weeks ago, I cleaned my laptop with a spray cleaner and suddenly the computer screen began scrolling. It will scroll down to the last item on any list that I click on. I changed the mouse and that didn't make it stop. It scrolls whether I'm using the mouse, touchpad or touchscreen, when I click on the item I want to open. It scrolls down to the last item of that list. Last week I was just pushing the top buttons on the computer and the scrolling stopped. The button that stops it from scrolling is the ins. prt sc, button. This button stops the scrolling but if I leave the computer for awhile, it starts scrolling again. Help

  • I cannot see my normal desktop. My desktop consists of a few frequently used apps, my tool bar at the bottom to access other apps and my start menu, and my background is a picture from my files. 

    Recently a pink screen (the theme color I previously chose) is blocking my desktop and I don’t know how to remove it. 

    Can anyone help me?

  • Touchscreen stopped working. I jumped through all the hoops the virtual assistant gave me and the touchscreen works in component test. I tried resetting it, no luck. Device manager has it listed as a generic PnP monitor and it's not in the HID section either. I don't know how to get the monitor recognized.
